I really like this little foot stool. Just put it together - that did not take long! The instructions were superb with a bit of humor involved. Very easy and quick. No tools required. Cushy for your feet. I did not sit on it but could. Beige color l blends nicely with my off white patterned chair. I would buy again if I need another one down the road. The feet are plastic and that is fine as they look and work great.

My favorite storage piece

This is such a great addition to our travel trailer. Lightweight and easy to put together. The wood top looks great and more expensive than it is. I can actually store quite a lot the storage area.

SO HAPPY to have found this product to match my bed. It’s affordable and the quality is amazing. Very sturdy and I already tried sitting on it (I weigh 125lbs) and it didn’t budge. Love that the inside of the lid has a wood paper design. The more details for me the better! I didn’t want to commit to buying nightstands yet so this will compliment our bedroom set once we do. Also liked the funny instructions. So easy to put together.

This was just what I wanted to place between two sections of a reclining sofa. (The middle section does not recline and all my other tables were too large). It was incredibly easy to assemble and the instruction manual is clearly written and humorous. Go figure! Who would think to make an instruction manual funny? These people did and it made me like the ottoman even more. I love that it also has storage (we placed a blanket and a cushion inside) and the top can be used as a tray. The neutral color also fits right into any decor. It's a 3-in-1 item and I highly recommend it.

Cute ottoman with storage at a great price

Easy to assemble & sturdy. I particularly like that the lid has a faux rosewood tray when flipped over. I think I will get 4 furniture buttons to add atop. It honestly looks decent as-is because of the studded detailing already on the lid. I can fit 8 large towels inside. Good price for an ottoman with storage. I’ve seen similar department store foldouts that look wimpy, and wanted a better quality- this was a much better choice. Perfect footstool height!

Beautiful piece of furtniy

Beautiful, sturdy, lots of storage, seats one Collie or 4 cats comfortably. Do take note that, at least on mine, you could an extra pair of hands to hold the floor of the ottoman down while screwing in the legs which were a counterclockwise thread. I haven't been able to use it yet but the dog says it's comfy...and very handsome. This was an openbox warehouse deal and about 25% off. .I HAVE NEVER REGRETTED AN OPEN BOX AMAZON DEAL. So grab those savings fearlessly!

Best ottoman ever.

We LOVE this ottoman. It literally took 5 minutes to put together, and it holds SO MANY blankets! It’s lightweight, but very sturdy and will last for years and years! I love that the color matches perfectly with our living room, and is the perfect piece to go in the center of the room! It looks so classy and we’ve gotten so many compliments on it. The dogs love to lay on it, and the kids love to play on it! Overall, amazing quality and very sophisticated.

Fantasic Customer Service, Quality Product

When we moved in December and I ordered 2 Nathan James storage ottomans from Amazon. Only one arrived. The one ottoman that did arrive was a quality product. Nice and sturdy, yet easy to assemble. It looked great with my couch, which is a similar gray and similar tailored aesthetic. The ottoman has plenty of easily accessible storage space. When the top is in the table position, it is stable enough that I am not worried about keeping my glass of water on it for the entirety of the evening. The table also has an easy-to-wipe-clean top in case there are accidents. As a seat, it easily accommodates a 250 pound person surprisingly comfortably and feels very secure and stable. I don't know anyone of a larger weight, so 250 is as high as we've tried. I contacted Amazon bout the missing ottoman and another was sent on its way immediately. Unfortunately the second arrived with a stud missing (see photo). It was just a small cosmetic problem, but I decided to contact the manufacturer about it rather than contacting Amazon again. I contacted the manufacturer (Nathan James) to see if they could send just a replacement stud for me to pound in place. Instead they sent a whole new ottoman. When I asked if I should send back the damaged one, they said no. Since the missing stud was not a deal breaker, I pounded in the sharp point and kept the damaged ottoman also. Now I have 3 and they look great with the couch. Nathan James' "customer happiness" representative, Melanie, followed up with me throughout the several day process to let me know when to expect my delivery, make sure I had received the replacement, and ensure I was happy with it. In January I got a surprise gift from Nathan James' founder, Brooklyn Burdon, who sent me chocolates... for any inconvenience the situation may have caused. So I now have an extra ottoman, a yummy bag of chocolate and a strong desire to purchase something else from Nathan James. Very nice customer service guys!!! They went above and beyond what I expected to make sure I had a good experience. Helps that the ottomans are very good quality too... comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and sturdy.

I bought the beige cube ottomans and they were absolutely beautiful, the online pictures do not do these justice. For a foldable cube ottoman at $35 each these are super nice. The color is gorgeous, they look very elegant, and they are extremely sturdy. I was a bit concerned about using the lid as a tray since it does not actually sit within the cube, it just sort of balances/lays over the top, but the lid is so nice and heavy that it stays on top way better than I thought it would, although it’s definitely not heavy enough that kids or animals couldn’t knock the lid off quite easily when it’s being used as a tray. The interior of the tray sure is pretty though. These were definitely a great buy.

Easy to set up, Heavy Lid, Very Stylish

This, despite what you might think, is a fairly solid piece of storage ottoman. The lid was heavier than expected, so bend at the knees when lifting if you have back problems. I bought it to go beneath a low windowsill in my home office because it was very inexpensive and I didn't care if the cats destroyed it. I put a grey furry runner on top for them to lay in the sun on. The drawers do not get stuck opening and closing, though there is a small gap at the top of them to allow for this. Overall, for the $50 price, I am very pleased. When I find a better solution for my office I can move this to the closet, though it is stylish enough to go anywhere in the house.
