Excellent Deal for the Price
To start, one has to realize that this is a $13 music stand, and it was shipped for free. It is what it is. That said, I find that it's a screaming deal. I am using mine to hold my iPad while on the bike trainer indoors (I don't care for the iPad holders that affix to the handlebars just FYI). My stand is extended to it's limit in height, and with the heavy tablet (in a heavy protective case), the stand is a little wobbly because it's top heavy. Not in a way where there is any danger of falling, and it doesn't wobble on its own - it only wobbles if I push on it. I'm cool with that. I find this perfect for a starter music stand, a kids' stand (can be as low as 2' or so all the way up to around 3.5-4' where I have mine), and even an iPad stand. Albeit I didn't have very high expectations, but the stand exceeded them.

No regrets!
I ordered this music stand for my daughter. She needed it for when the orchestra travels. I love that it comes apart in only 2 pieces, it folds down and fits in a caring bag with a strap for my daughter to carry easily. We had a problem with the 1st stand, we reported the defect immediately, shipped it back, and the company had sent us another stand the very next day! My hat's off tho the company that shipped these out! The professionalism and immediate response was impressive!

Good buy
This stand compresses to get really really low, which is what I was looking for. The light and the book clip are a great bonus

Best portable stand I have ever owned, great service
Best transportable music stand I've ever owned: Transportable: If you just loosen the thumbscrews and collapse it, it's collapsed size is 17" by 3". Many stands only have 2 pieces, and so collapse into a much longer size. Timed it, 9 seconds. If like me you need to put it into a briefcase, you just loosen the thumbscrews and pull the 3 pieces apart and collapse the feet and stand. 14" by 3". 13 seconds. I don't bother with the bag that comes with it because if you tighten the thumbscrews it holds together as one compact piece. Adjustable: The rack can be tilted to any angle and set at a height from 24 to 45 inches. Once set, tighten the thumbscrews and it stays set, even if you hit it or put a heavy book on it. Holds the music: The rack is standard size, and in addition has two ears that stick up high, so that the big clip that comes with it can grab the top of the music and an ear no matter how tall the music it happens to be, but for most stuff if you have a page that wants to turn on its own, etc., you can swing those little springy things in picture 4 up to rest on the music, which they do with just enough pressure to hold it, but loose enough so it is easy flip the page fast. And the springy things are attached to the stand so they never get lost. Sturdy enough: If it was as sturdy as a concert stand, it would also be too heavy to carry around. It is sturdy enough so that, if you take care of it, it will take care of you. One caution: If you take the stand apart into 3 pieces for more compact storage, which most people won't need to do, be sure to tighten the thumbscrews snug. if you don't, and if the thumbscrews work loose while you are carrying it around, they or a little plastic piece can fall out and go hide in a crack somewhere. If you remember to tighten the thumbscrews after you take it apart, this can't happen. If you only collapse the stand without taking it apart, as most people will do, this can't happen, though I do suggest tightening the thumbscrews after you collapse the stand. Great service: I took the stand apart into 3 pieces and didn't tighten the thumbscrews and the little plastic part fell out. I texted the company on Amazon, and 4 days later got two of the little plastic parts in the mail, I guess an extra in case I mess up again, from a company that only got $12.99 for the stand. Best computer stand you can buy: Nowadays you can buy and extremely thin second screen for a computer, like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013XFJKGI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1., that fits on this stand perfectly. The clip and spring holds the monitor on securely, and the combination is far more adjustable than any computer stand I can buy; I can adjust it so it sets the monitor right by my laptop screen no matter where I sit.

Good design, well made, great value
After a few decades I decided to play the guitar again and started taking lessons. After using the kitchen table to hold the music I soon decided I needed something more portable. I am glad I picked this one. It has a good design, is well made, and is a great value. It is sturdy enough that I can lean the guitar against it when I take a break. As a bonus it includes a carry bag and a wide clip to keep sheet music from flying away if the stand gets bumped.

Great music Stand
My 9 year old needed a music stand to practice his instrument. He put it together by himself and easily stands it up and puts it away, without my help. It holds his folder and music book with ease. I would buy this again.

Super easy to set up
We received it in a timely manner and it was super easy to set up. I didn't even need to read the instructions. I love that it comes in a case carrier so it will be easy to take apart and store away. It does look and feel a bit flimsy but otherwise it works well and holds my daughter's piano book in place. We are very satisfied.

Nice Stand
I bought this for my Studio....Some reviews say its flimsy...I did not find that to be the case...I had visions of the old fold up ones but this is sturdy and fits my needs perfectly...I have a heavy duty one I gig with but I wouldn't hesitate to gig with this...Its not going to hold a huge notebook but if it fits on the shelf it'll hold it... For an artist tab book its super...for my loose leaf binder its super...However understand its a thirteen dollar stand and won't hold an encyclopedia britannica...I like it....

Great Compact Music sheet/Book Stand
My son plays the Guitar, recently he graduated into reading music so he can play more complex songs chords etc. The challenge is he needs both hands on the guitar while playing and the book, or sheet kept flopping around as he tried to keep it on his lap or couch. His music teacher suggested getting a music stand to make things easy. Searching on Amazon, brought this up. This was pretty low cost at about $13 and knowing i can return if not satisfied i made the purchase. I wasn't expecting much at the price. When the package came i was pleasantly surprised. It came folded in a strong nylon pouch, similar to that of an umbrella cover. When stored, it is a cylinder the diameter of a cane of coke, with a length of about 13 inches. It comes in two pieces to aid storage. All you have to do is slide the rod from the book holder into the base. While it can not hold really heavy books, this is perfect for music sheets, or most normal music books. I love that they included a large clip for the book as well. I gladly recommend this to anyone looking for an ultra compact and portable music stand.

Lightweight, stable music stand
This product is exactly what I was wanting; lightweight and easy to transport, particularly w/ the traveling case and the ability to separate the music holder (top) from the legs (bottom). Much better than those flimsy ones veteran musicians may remember which would collapse on itself w/ a 5 lb sheet music book.
