Other reviews of this anchor (and other seller's reviews) were littered with negative comments about the connection between the arm and the box. Some of them had to buy extra hardware to prevent the pin or screw from backing out. I was happy to see this one came with solid hardware, including washers and a lock nut. No extra trips to the hardware store for me! My neighbor recommended this type of anchor after listening to me complain about dragging ground on our lake's soft floor. I have a 22ft bow rider, and the only time my other anchor would hold was if it got stuck on a limb... This one solved the problem. The fact that it folds for storage is an added bonus and takes up less space than a traditional anchor. Thank you!

Buying another for our other boat, this thing digs. (24' deck boat, 6k lbs)

Seems as well made as the ones costing much more. Came with an improved shackle bolt and nylon lock nut to prevent loss of anchor as happened to some reviewers so its great to see the manufacturer responding to feedback. Locktite on shackle pin threads will work as well.

I have a 27' cabin cruiser. The anchor held during heavy wave action at Lake Powell. We welded the threaded pin in place in consideration of some of the other reviews.

worked great on a 20ft lund sport angler, held really well in a pretty strong wind. very pleased with product
