Prints Great!!
My first time with PETG but after tweaking a few things I have great layer bonding and nice smooth prints. Make sure to print without a fan(except bridges) or this stuff becomes brittle and the layers won't bond. Otherwise if you get this stuff tuned in, it has the strongest layer bonding vs PLA/PLA+. Also if you are moving up from PLA make sure to PID autotune for PETG temps because that makes a world of difference in quality. Actually I'm very happy with Amazon Basic PETG and was a great hidden gem of Amazon. I usually don't write reviews but Amazon Basics keeps surprising me with cheap GREAT QUALITY items!

Fantastic Filament For FDM
Previously I had only printed with PLA. But I bought PETG because I wanted to print some stronger stuff than PLA and since most of the so called "good" PLA with good colors is the same price or more I just got some Amazon PETG which is the cheapest PETG I could find. The printing ease is really great once you figure out the settings. Refer to Thomas Sanladerer on youtube for details but I also found that printing pretty slowly and using a silicone hot end sock really helps to keep stuff from sticking to the hot end and nozzle aswell as using coasting helps too especially if your printing at 260C for max strength and layer adhesion. If you don't need max strength printing around 230 and 240 results in much less stringing and it behaves much more like PLA and is much easier to work with in general. And if you have a PTFE lined heat break/hot end like most printers than that may be the most you should go up to as higher temps will degrade that liner and possibly release toxic gases and gum or burn the liner up. The actual strength is better than PLA aswell, but its not super strong. Its much stronger in some ways but PETG does have a tendency to shatter. I found that destroying a large failed print that I printed at 260C with 100%infill that the layers were bonded so well that when smashed with a hammer against the layer lines in order to try to make the layers fail, the print shattered and did so more like one big chunk of plastic instead of a 3D printed piece. Was awesome! PETG is now my go to for when I want stronger parts than the cheap PLA I tend to buy or when I just want some nice colored filament. The colors are really nice looking unlike most cheap filaments I'm used to and are exactly what you expect. I have only got orange and purple so far but both are first class. Suffice to say, I'm a fan.

Fantastic filament at a great price
This is a killer deal for some great filament. Before I was happy to get a kg of PETG for about $30 with stringy prints, but that's expected with PETG right? Nope! For $20/kg this filament gives me no stringing with great layers, I'm getting extremely strong and durable prints. I did not change any of my slicer settings for this roll from the other brands, but I did calibrate the extrusion width. The advertised tolerance for this roll is +/- 0.05mm, but I found it closer to be +/-0.07. A bit disappointed, sure, but at least the diameter is consistent. So dial in your extrusion and prepare to buy another roll!

Great Stuff
Printed out the first part for my Great Mojave Rover project today. Came out first try great. I used the settings on the side of the roll. I am printing with an XYZ da Vinci 1.0 Pro and with the EZ-Stik build surface. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017GUBHDK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BFFH635/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you would like to learn more about my rover you can find it at rover.bimthoughts.com

I Love This Filament
Wasn't sure what to expect but it was a piece of cake to dial in. Smooth as silk. Nice spool as well. Zero disappointment in the color either.

Amazing PETG!
I know 3d printer filament is a personal preference so I'm always a bit scared to try anything new. I've used nothing but eSun PLA and PETG since getting my Wanhao i3 clone and I've been really happy with them. My only complaint was that the eSun PETG is only available in translucent colors and I wanted to shift most of my prints to PETG. I figured the Amazon Basics filament would be pretty unremarkable but I was wrong! I love this stuff! I've picked up one roll of red PETG and I'm printing at 245/85 (same settings as eSun) with only mild stringing. I've just rebuilt my controller and switched to slic3r so I'm tuning settings, as well. The red comes out a beautiful 'fire engine' red with great definition. The marks on the side of the spool showing how much you have left are also a great touch. Once I knock out these last few rolls of PLA I'm going to shift 100% to Amazon PETG. They've got an awesome filament and if the other colors print half as well as the red I won't regret it.

Quality PETG, prints well, great price
Using the Amazon Basics transparent PETG currently. Prints really well, and I like the spool design with the spool amount shown via the cut outs. A LOT of bed adhesion, more than your typical eSun or Hatchbox PETG, so use some hairspray or gluestick as to not ruin your printing surface. Will definitely buy again, and looking forward to trying out a few different colors.

Good stuff if you keep dry - and an awesome value
I have printed in PETG before and struggled to enjoy it. It had all the hallmarks of a challenging medium: stringing, oozing, etc. I dialed the filament in and it was acceptable. So I expected the same here. When I got the box, the filament was in a sealed bag with zip top - a nice touch, but almost table stakes at this stage. I got it on the printer and this was amazing! Instead of stringing and curling on the bed, it stuck well. Instead of pimples and oozing, it was locked in right out of the gate. My only complaint, during that first print, was the color was a little more yellow than my orange Prusa, so I couldn't /quite/ use this as a replacement for their PETG parts without noticing. That's it! Fast forward to a couple more prints at the same level and I was thinking this stuff was perfect. A week later, in my air conditioned, static RH ~40% home, I tried to print and everything was wrong. I had the most catastrophic failure yet, in the middle of a 10h print. I didn't think there could be a mid-print failure with this stuff, but there it was. After I canceled the print and began to attempt to dial this filament back in, it seemed that everything was failing. I eventually got it dialed back in (higher temp, 102% extrusion rate, hotter bed on first layer, higher fan on later layers, etc.), it eventually printed acceptably, but not as good as when first new. So, while I'm sure everyone knows how succeptable filament is to moisture, it seems that this is especially true for the Amazon PETG. And with the value for this filament, I am spending the money I saved on a filament dryer so that I can have the good print experience again... This is great "bang for your buck" filament. It's not as good as filamentum or other super-premium filament, but it seems like it's better than hatchbox or other generic filament and at a better price. So i am going to keep buying amazon filament and already have quite the queue of new projects for it.

Great price and nothing lacking
This is my first spool of PETG filament and it hasn't disappointed. I've finished 2 prints with temps at 238 at the nozzle and 65 on the heated bed. I picked this spool up to print random things for my daughter and she's in love with the pink color. I will be replacing my current stock with more of the AmazonBasics PETG as it runs out. Bottom line, This filament does not disappoint.

Quality printing supplies at great prices, can't be beat.
I can tell you with all the experience I have with 3D printing all the different filaments that I've purchased all the different printer Parts everything that I've ever gone through just to get a decent print that amazonbasics filament is amazing. First of all I've never seen filament wound so neatly before in my life it's usually just spun out of a spool they took the time to stack it right during the rolling process it's clean, it has level indicators on the side of the spool which let you know how much feeling that you have left in grams. It prints very well I am using the petg I'm printing it 240 degrees C and it is flawless. I would welcome Amazon sending me any of their filament to try in my printer any color any type and I'll be happy to review them all this is amazing thank you Amazon for taking over to the 3D printing Supply industry I hope you come out with more including printers because if they're done with the same quality I'll be the first to purchase them.
