Does exactly as it's supposed to and does so perfectly

This is my first time using a card reader that's designed to be used with/for my smartphone. I had my doubts as my previous encounters with similar devices, or just phone accessories in general, have always less than great. With the accompanying software/app this reader works extremely well. I inserted my SD card from my DSLR and was able to copy over several photos in less than 30 seconds, with 2 video files from my action camera I was able to transfer in just barely a minute. I'm extremely happy with this purchase! Another thing worth noting that I noticed in another review (that really helped me decide in getting this card reader over others) is that it isn't flimsy or cheap feeling. This seems to be able to withstand normal travel in pockets, bags, compartments, etc.

Huge Time Saver

I was struggling with having to upload pictures from my SD card to my laptop then to drive. Now I can use the card reader and put them on my iPad then directly into my gallery which makes them far more accessible. I love this device. It works well and has saved me hours of uploading. I have an iPad 5th generation and it works well with my device. ** I paid full price for this item, my opinions are my own and was not compensated for my review.

Does exactly what it was intended to do!

I'm very impressed with this company and with their product! I received the Suntrsi xDisk in record time. The card reader was very helpful in my efforts to switch from an iphone to an android unlike the previous card reader that I had purchased from Amazon and had to return. I did have to remove the very thin rubber case that I had on my phone to get it to recognize the reader but once I did that it was super easy to transfer my pictures. There is a bit of a learning curve and the directions didn't help much. I'm definitely not a computer geek and it takes me a while to figure things out. I plan to get a lot of use from this xDisk in the future and I'm sure it will hold up to much use as it is very well made.

Great quality, price and easy to use!

This is a great iphone memory card reader with multiple functions! Very easy to use, plug in and it will take you to download the app. You are all set! Oh, did I mention the price? It's a great qualify with what you paid. And now I can save a lot of memory on my phone and download them to this memory card reader (memory card is not included, but you can use any card that you have handy) I can also easily transfer the photo from my camera to my phone for PS or touch up! It's working seamlessly with my iphone Xs.

Works as expected

No app for Android but it is discovered as a storage device. SD card and TF read true thus far. Will be a nice tool for backup and moving data as intended. I bought this to add to my tech kit for transferring files between multiple devices (desktop, laptop, phone, tablet) using SD/TF cards. Thus far it is working as intended. The ability to accept cards allows me the flexibility to expand storage by swapping another card into the adapter. I can also flash a bootable OS onto a card and use this device to boot and install the OSs or boot into a recovery environment.

It works and is worth the money

Does the job and worth the money to have a lightning, usb and micro usb connector in same device. Also great that it can handle an micro SD card - I am using 128GB - as well as smaller AND that it can handle an SD card that I use in my cameras. Took maybe 5 minutes to download the app and figure out the UI, but once done the transfer is quick. Am using it on an iphone SE and 6S. The USB side easily connected to my son's samsung android phone and then my PC. Update 11/1/2018 Worked so well ordered a 2nd one for another member of the family. Plug the device into an ipad or iphone, it recognizes the device and you can download and install the software and boom you are on your way - PROVIDED you have an SD or microSD card loaded in the device. I really like the fact that it has lightning, USB and microUSB connectors enabling you to connect to any device. I don't see a size limit stated as far as storage but I have used it with a 128 microSD card. Only drawbacks re 1) the fact that I do have to take the case off of my iphone to connect it, but that is minor given the convenience of the drive. 2) the software to transfer photos to/from phone is a bit quirky but by the 3rd time I used it, I had it and it was speedy enough. Only drawback may be that I have to take my iphone case off before connecting it to the iphone - would be an overall 5 star if I didn't have to remove the case. Update Oct 27,2018 Product works so well and so easily I just ordered and received another for my son - and what was really cool is that this one came with a microUSB adapter so it will work with Android phones as well and an iphone or ipad. You do have to keep in mind that you do need to supply your own microSD card, a small detail. So far I have used 32GB, 64GB and 128GB microSD cards so there is a lot of flexibility.

Great for trail cameras and iphones

I bought this card reader to allow me to view pictures from the SD cards at my trail cameras on my iPhone 7 plus. It has worked perfectly and has saved me a lot of time and unnecessary trips. The app associated with the card reader was easy to use. The USB port also connected right up to the computer. I am very pleased with the purchase. Attached is a picture I was able to view at the trail camera with the reader.

No regrets here.

Alright friends, since I bought this item below is how I am utilizing it, i'm sharing this so you can have an idea, how I use this multi tool. These are my Pros/Cons Pros: 1. I use this to quickly transfer video files from my iPhone to PC. Before I had this tool, this task is so tedious, but now, i can transfer all my video files with ease. I just use a highspeed class 10 SDCARD to store the file, then thru the Xdisk software, copy it to my PC. Less time i need to spend nibbling thru itunes/explorer, more time to edit. 2. When mobile, I use this to transfer photos from my DSLR to my phone, and enable me to perform a quick edit. This tool now enables me to post high quality photos on social media. Quickly, efficiently and in real time. Cons: 1. The xdisk software is good, but it still has room for improvement. Like, I hope I can simply give permission to the software to delete all items that I just copied. This is important to me as I have a limited space and time. So, if it can copy then delete those files from source in one go, it will be a great progress for the software TLDR: With the above Pros, it certainly outweighs the Con, and for that I would recommend this product.

Great product!!

Love the product so far! I primarily use it to transfer video footage from my drone to my phone so I can view the footage directly there when I don’t have my computer with me or when it’s inconvenient to get it out. I can take some drone footage outside, come straight in to the TV room, and stream the footage to the TV over AirPlay to Apple TV from the phone. I also then use it to transfer the footage to my computer when the Micro SD card is full. I just wish I could plug in my lightning headphones and listen to music on my Mac through them but that’s probably more Apple’s fault than that of this product.
