Excellent Quality

Clips together in a few seconds. It doesn't require screws but it is still very sturdy. Raises the front of the laptop about 5 inches and the rear of the laptop about 6 inches so it is the perfectly at eye level or at the level of most external monitors. Fits my 14 inch and 13 inch laptops perfectly with 0 chance of either falling off. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and it is much cheaper than the competition.

Great accessory, but not as functional for thinner laptops

I love this laptop stand. I'd recommend one of these, or something similar, to anyone who uses a computer regularly. I bought mine to raise my 13" Lenovo Yoga 730. It fits great. I like the matte aluminum finish, it has a rubber grip to keep the PC from slipping, and it feels very sturdy. My only warning is that there's a lip at the end of the stand's arms that curves up about an inch. This won't be noticeable if your laptop/mac has a thick base, but mine is quite thin, so the curve protrudes a bit. Personally, I like to rest my wrist on it when I'm using the trackpad, but I can understand how it can get in the way of someone who has different postural preferences or a differently sized laptop. I experimented using my girlfriend's new 13" Macbook, which is almost half as thin as mine, and it was not comfortable to use at all. Conclusion: great for thicker, heavier laptops and pre-2016 Macs. Not great for new Macbooks or Macbook Pros.

Sturdy

Very sturdy stand, and open so your computer can breathe. Photos show an old-school 14" Lenovo Thinkpad on it (good fit) with a Focusrite Clarette audio interface underneath. The grey strips are a grippy poly-substance so your computer wont move around. Works for me.

Excellent stand for my MacBook Air

I ordered this stand for my MacBook Air. I have an external monitor and needed to raise up the laptop screen so my cursor going from one screen to the other made sense. When the laptop was sitting on the desk, the cursor location was not obvious. Now, the cursor going from one screen to the other is seamless. Additionally, I like the fact that my laptop now has ventilation under it instead of it sitting on the desk with my external keyboard on top of it. The external keyboard stores under it now which opens up my desk without overheating the laptop. All in all, a great purchase.

Best for my 3 screen setup and look great even staying idle

I have a workstation at my home office and I like to work with multiple screens through docking stations. Sometimes the most brilliantly engineered products are the simplest. This is certainly the case here. Though on the surface it looks like a very simple product, you can tell that a lot of thought went into its design. From an aesthetic standpoint it's gorgeous simplicity is the perfect compliment to a Mac laptop or high-end aluminum PC. It even looks great sitting on the desk by itself. The size is good. It lifts the screen to a good readable height, so no more hunching over the laptop. From a functional standpoint, this laptop stand elevates your computer to the perfect height, has an open bottom for maximum heat dispersion, is solidly constructed and easily disassembled for transport if you need. This is THE STAND YOU HAVE BEEN WANTING.

In the time it took to retrieve the package from my front porch, open it, assemble it, and jump to Amazon for a review is all the time I have owned this product. And in that short period of time, I am already happy beyond my expectations. This is a great product. The product arrived a day late, which was the shipping company's fault (OnTrac) not the product manufacturer. The product was expertly packaged in a sturdy box and its parts were wrapped in substantial wrapping to protect the surface from scratches. It comes in three parts, each arm and the tie rod between the arms. It's components slide and snap together tightly. The metal is solid! This is not cheap, hollow, tubular metal, but solid all the way through. The brushed silver finish matches perfectly with my MacBook Pro. My plan was to use this as a permanent desk stand for my MacBook Pro, hide the Apple wireless keyboard underneath it when not in use, and (while on the stand at my desk) tie the MacBook Pro into two 34in monitors. It all comes together EXACTLY as I had planned. The stand raises the MacBook Pro 15cm (5.75 inches) in the rear and 10cm (3.75 inches) in the front. This puts the MacBook Pro screen at a good height for seeing it clearly without neck strain and at a good height to compliment the screens (the MacBook Pro sits between the two screens which form a 90 degree angle on a corner desk). Bottom Line: I am excited and enthusiastic about this stand. Soundance did a wonderful job with this stand and it is definitely getting my recommendations to my other laptop carrying friends as THE STAND for using your laptop at your desk.

perfect for raising our laptops to a better viewing height

I bought this stand so that my wife wouldn't have to sit looking down at her laptop screen. It is perfect for what she needs. I did find that the laptop and stand needs some Velcro tabs to hold the laptop in place. Others my not need the Velcro but I think the laptop is much more secure "stuck down" to the stand since we don't usually move these computers. I had to trim the nonslip pads on the stand to accomodate the Velcro but its no big deal. I like the stand so much that I bought one for myself and made the Velcro modifications. All in all a nice product.

I like this laptop stand very much. It holds my 13" MacBook Pro without any problems. It came well packaged and arrived on time and It only took about 2 minutes to put it together. It’s very convenient to use. I highly recommend.

Solid stand, good value

I'm transitioning away from my late iMac (2010-2018, RIP) to just using a laptop for all of my writing and audio/video editing needs, and this stand is making it a lot easier. There is plenty of room to stow my video editing keyboard under it (freeing up desk space) and it places my screen at the perfect angle for editing without craning my neck. Construction seems very solid.
