So far so good!
Works well for my 2yo. Pretty comfortable seat. He loves to climb things. So this works better than the little potty we tried getting him to sit on in the living room.

Absolute BEST. Period.
I give Myself 1 star for not finding this sooner! It probably would have made our lives easier! There’s one of these similar floating around social media and that’s the one I went looking for. The reviews were not great besides from first glance I was concerned about the step being too narrow. Not a problem with this combo. As a matter of fact my 3 year old (37 months to the day) was officially fully potty trained the same night this arrived. (It’s been 4 days/nights). He’s been using it regularly, mostly on his own. He refuses to go on the toddler potty since he can use the regular toilet now. If we forget to leave it set up for him, he knows how to do it by himself. Everything about this product is awesome. My son even helped his daddy put it together, which was a breeze. The moment we placed it on the toilet he jumped right on and went. He was comfortable and felt safe thanks to the very wide step and handles. The whole thing is easy to clean/sanitize and bonus... the seat cushion comes off (Velcro)! I am SO GRATEFUL I stumbled on this particular seat/step combo and I will recommend it to everyone!

Best Potty Seat for Montessori Toddlers
My daughter is currently 3 years old and I’ve been trying to work with her on potty training on and off since she was 2. We just could never get anywhere because she hated being helped. She is a very independent person, always has been. I finally purchased this potty seat after keeping it in my cart for a few months, and I’m so glad I did!! She loves that she can climb up easily by herself (she is scared of heights and it didn’t bother her at all), she loved that it doesn’t hurt her to sit on it thanks to the cushioned seat (unfortunately the one on the back of the toilet in my picture made her bottom hurt). I recommend this seat for anyone with a stubborn child who just won’t go. Maybe letting them do it all themself is just the push they need. :)

Do you have a stubborn 3 year old too?
This came as a recommendation from a blog on how to potty train a very spirited child and I couldn't be happier with the results. My 3 year old has shown all the signs of potty training for several months, but absolutely refused to sit on the toilet -- a small training toilet or a special seat for a regular toilet. She's fiercely independent and this enabled her to have control over potty training by being able to climb up herself. And I'm very happy to write that she's been potty trained fully since the day this arrived in the mail. I highly recommend this for any stubborn to potty train child! The setup was easy -- just required a few screws to put the rails on the seat. It was done is less than 5 minutes. It's lightweight and easy to move off the toilet so my older children can use the toilet. In the listing photo, it has the ladder sitting on the toilet with the seat up, but I found mine is much more secure with the seat down. This may be an issue with a boy because the urine may get between the potty seat and the toilet seat, but for girls it's not an issue.

Very good product
Potty works great! My daughter loves it and it's easy to use and put together. We can also use it as a step ladder for her when brushing teeth very sturdy. Folds easily

Ideal potty training seat
I really like this product. It was easy to assemble and had two height settings for the step which are easily adjustable. The seat is padded and very comfortable for my son to sit on. It also has handles to hold onto to make him feel safe. the seat folds down making it easy to store beside the toilet. The product is an excellent tool for potty training.

GREAT! So easy to assemble and my son loves it!
I got sick of dumping potty buckets so took the leap and got this ladder. I love it so far. Super easy to assemble, light but sturdy and my son took to it right away. He has always known to "point down" so I cant speak to whether there are any pee/leak issues with boys, but it seems to fit flush in that front area and I cant imagine it being an issue. We just leave it on the toilet, no need to take off in our house as kids have their own bathroom, but it seems to be super easy to move and fold, as well.

Works for my 26 month old
My daughter is 2 yrs old (just turned 2 in October), and she’s 34 1/4” tall. I set up the step on the lowest setting where she can easily climb up, turn around, push her pants down then sit on the seat and slide back. She does this all on her own without issue. We trained her to use the portable potty chairs on the ground for the first month and now we have her using this seat. She likes it a lot! It fits over the top of our toilet seat just fine. I don’t have to lift up the lid and the seat, it’s secure enough. It’s just a bit wobbly if my daughter is grabbing only one side while starting the climb up. Super light weight, easy to pull on and off between uses for adults to use the toilet, easy to assemble. My daughter’s feet don’t reach the step while she’s using the toilet but she does ok even like that. I’m sure we’ll be using this potty seat for some time. I would recommend this seat for sure.

Perfect transition potty!
I bought this for my granddaughter who was not cooperating with us using the potty. She was afraid of the big toilet. She immediately climbed up the steps, and sat on the potty. She had something to hold onto and the seat made the toilet hole smaller so she felt safe. She loves using the potty now and was potty trained quickly.

Sturdy!!
So I have another potty seat similar to this one but about 15 bucks cheaper that I purchased for my upstairs bathroom. I ended up wanting another cause my toddler would use the one upstairs great but refuses to use the big potty downstairs and would poop in the plastic potty only and quite frankly, I’m tired of scrubbing sh!t out of a tiny plastic potty. I was going to get the same one but decided on this one because the reviews on both were saying the other one was not sturdy and this one was. After thinking about it I realized the reviews on the cheaper one I already have were right... I have to hold the seat while he climbs on or it will slip off, there’s nothing that holds it in place. So I got this potty. Let me tell you best money ever spent. He can easily put it on the potty on his own and it’s so super sturdy I don’t have to worry about it slipping and sliding around the toilet and him falling. So he can do the whole thing without help which is awesome cause I have an infant and another toddler at home. The seat also has a much better softer butt cushion. And the step is super wide so he doesn’t feel like he’s gonna fall off when he steps up and turns around to sit. Also that step has two adjustable heights which lets my other toddler who is super short actually be able to reach to sit down on his own. The other one I have the step is much lower and he can’t get up on his own... kinda defeats the purpose of the step. Anyway, get this one it’s better than others and worth every penny!
