I am still learning all of the controls and settings on this flash, and have been experimenting with it, but I love the performance and the new doors it has opened to expand my photography. Easy to attach and use. I shoot multiple off-camera radio controlled Speedlites in a variety of ways, but never really delved into macro lighting. This Ring Light is amazing and makes it so easy to shoot great hand-held macro at 1:1. It changes the game and allows for hand-held macro shooting with great ease . Just set the camera aperture to f/22 or f/25, speed at 1/200 (max sync) and ISO 1000. That gives you the movement freezing result at a decent DOF. No need for a tripod which is always difficult with macro outdoor shooting. It darkens the ambient background light and creates amazing perfectly lit results at 1:1 macro if you have a good macro lens. Macro shooting is always low light shooting because of the tiny apertures and fast speeds required. This ring lite has amazing results. And the best of all it comes with all the ring adapters for canon, so you dont need to worry in buying extra accesories.

Nice addition to my camera arsenal!

After trying this product out, I've found that it is pretty easy to use. I had a little bit of difficulty trying to mount it to my camera as it tightens the wrong way from normal items. Instead of righty tighty lefty loosey, it's the opposite (I believe). The flash functions are simple which is nice. Mounting the flash to my lens was very easy as well. I am excited to begin using this product for my vlog! The pictures definitely looked different, and improved with the flash as opposed to without it!

Handy Ring Light

I'm an avid traveler and this is perfect for travel and when I need lighting that can easily attach to my camera and don't have to struggle with figuring out where to mount it. Another perk is the blue and amber rings that are included and provide additional tinted lighting options to either cool or warm things up. The last handy perk I'll mention is that the light is dimmable and is not overpowering on the brightest setting. All in all, this is my newest go-to when I'm on the go.

This ring light is amazing

This is one of the best ring light I ever purchase and it really helped with my Fijifilm camera a lot. Plus, once I get my canon camera it will be a great accessory for my photos. I have a bigger ring light at home and I couldn’t possibly bring that with me and the fact that there was a smaller one to fit my camera works way better.

Good Product! Just what I needed, it fits every lens I have and photos really improved after I started using this flash. The best thing is it doesn’t increase camera’s weight, and its easy to use too. The flash diffusers are useful too and since it has all led lights, it gives enough flash intensity which can be changed as per your need. Overall an excellent purchase.

Decent item for the price.

Yes you can spend $400 or more on a professional grade version, but for the price this item works fairly well. Pros -Inexpensive -Easy to use -Works well for MACRO photos -Various filter options come with it (clear, smoke, blue, yellow) -Fits multiple sized lens sizes -Multiple options on how to use it (flash vs always on, left side, right side, and multiple brightness levels) Cons -Not the highest quality materials but not awful -The light actually does not lock into place at the end of the lens but instead "spins" loosely which can make using the "half" light option difficult. Long story short is that for the price you are getting a decent MACRO flash/light. So 5 stars given the price to quality ratio.

Makes a difference with shadows!

Great price compared to others! I am very happy with the lighting this provides. it does make a big difference with pictures and gets rid of the shadows. It was easy to set up and understand. It does not come with batteries. Great flash for the price!
