Love the Keter Garden planter!
Great product! I bought two of these Keter planters. Each are filled with several herbs ( basil, oregano, parsley, thyme), lettuce, annual flowers and a patio tomato. All are thriving. They are very eye catching and turn out to be a conversation piece with anyone who visits. Make certain to use good garden soil.

Really great planter if you like to garden without straining your back!
Love it! It arrived in perfect condition, easy to assemble ( just screw on the legs). It looks nice on my deck and holds a lot of plants. I mixed together some garden soil, compost and potting soil to fill it. I lined it with landscape cloth to protect the plastic although that may not be necessary

FABULOUS! Nicely made! Just what I need to replace my old wooden containers
This is a FABULOUS planter. Super easy to put together - you just need a Phillips screwdriver to screw in the 4 legs. It has a tray that separates the water area from the soil and it has a little water gauge to monitor when there is enough or too much water in the basin. It also has a spigot so you can release the extra water. The good thing is that the released water, with all of the soil nutrients, can be used to water the other plants I have. As far as the amount of soil needed - I bought two 2 cubic ft bags of organic potting soil and I used about 1.5 - 1 3/4 of the bags. I didn't tamp down the soil too solidly, so if you do, you might need a bit more of the soil. I am tired of replacing the wooden containers because they end up disintegrating and breaking apart. So, I am trying this. I LOVE that it is raised. Some reviews say the legs are not stable. I am not having that experience. Do try to get it in the position you want it BEFORE putting in the soil, unless you only want to move it a few inches - or have some REALLY strong people to move it to a new location. I did call the company to ask whether I needed to line it out of concern that the soil would drain into the water reservoir. They told me that I did not need to line it, as they addressed that in the design. We will see! So far, very pleased! Time will tell! I am going to order a few more and get rid of all of the wooden planter boxes I have! I just planted a bunch of lettuce seeds, so we'll see how it goes. Nice design. SIMPLE assembly. It's very nice looking UPDATE 9/1/2017 - I am still in love with this planter box, so much so, I bought two more, have shown it to several friends and they each bought one or two. The pictures show Japanese eggplant, Persian cucumbers, lettuce - lots of lettuce. It's so nice to receive a product that really works., is effortless. Having it hooked up to a drip system makes it perfect.

Get one. You won't be disappointed.
I have been told that darker containers absorb/hold more heat from the sun which makes plants grow better. I don't know the science behind it but I planted kale in this and the same kale in a container that was a lighter color. The kale in this container is twice the size of the other one and my lettuce is growing like crazy too. The product is very well made (all the parts fit into the slots that they're suppose to), feels very sturdy and was incredibly easy to put together. You just need to have your own screw driver. This is a great raised bed. I'm 5'4 and it's the perfect height so that I don't have to strain my back to tend to my plants. I'm thinking of getting 2 more.

Great for urban gardening!
I live in a condo and thought I was doomed to have a small, lame garden, but I was wrong! I bought the first one of these for flowers, but after seeing how well they did, I bought a second to grow vegetables. The soil stays moist even in the summer without having to water every day, which is convenient for me since my balcony isn't plumbed for a garden hose. I love it and will buy another for spring planting!

I’m madly in love!
I have only had these a few weeks but I’m already head over heels in love. A garden with no more bending over or getting dirty and even better, I don’t have to worry about getting water on my new deck! Here is what I think thus far so you can make an informed decision: 1. These were so easy to put together. Screw in the four legs and boom done. And the material is very light so that made it even easier. 2. A lot of reviews complain of damage upon arrival but I ordered three at the same time and they were all in perfect shape. 3. When I ordered these they were about 20 bucks less than the big box store price but now I see they are about the same. 4. I was a bit irritated that when I ordered these they were noted to ship in 2 to 4 weeks. I ordered them April 20th and hoped it wouldn’t be the full 4 weeks. It actually came two days past the 4 weeks. No idea why it was late. Now I see they are two day shipping so I wish they had them in stock like that before growing season started. 5. My shipments all indicated these were made in Israel. I knew it stated this company was in several countries but I wasn’t sure which. 6. I used 2 large bags of potting mix from HD in each of these. Probably could have used a half bag more in each but there’s always next year. 7. They’re very heavy once full obviously, so if there was one feature I wish it had that it doesn’t, it would be wheels. I used to have each of my garden plants in separate pots which made it easy to move them if they were getting shaded by another plant or as the sun changed position throughout summer. This is not an option with these based on their weight. 8. These are very attractive. I have gotten compliments on them from every person that has come over in the last few weeks. 9. I feel pretty confident these will last for years. They’re a hard plastic so they won’t just break down. The only problem would be if a leg broke if you were trying to move these or something. 10. Removing water from the bottom reservoir is easy. It does not come gushing out or anything so I can catch it in my watering can for reuse. The valve moves easily and I can do this all by myself without issues. It does take a long time to drain though, even with very little water inside. I am definitely purchasing more of these in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

Love my little indoor garden
Love my little indoor garden! I read many of the reviews that it was too heavy to move, so we filled it with half packing peanuts and half dirt and it is still pretty easy to manipulate. Easy to put together and sturdy.

Great product---but here's some hints
Ordered two of these to grow herbs, cherry tomatoes and shallots on my patio. For years I used pots. But after starting a small herb garden in a "self-watering" plastic planter at another home with great success, I thought I would try these. First, like other reviewers, I put the first one together only to discover the bottom of one leg was missing. Called Support for manufacturer and within a couple days had the missing part. Opened the second box and the corner of the planter was broken (probably box was dropped and cracked the plastic). Sent it back as I decided that I only needed one planter. Today we had a major rain storm and I see how the water (and soil if I had put any in it) would be super heavy. I pulled the drain plug and I'm getting the water out. I think if you have this full of soil you should open the drain whenever you have rains in your area. That will prevent the legs from breaking.
