Well made.
Right out of the box to the scope, binoculars, and spotting scope. Fits the phone perfectly. Read the instructions before using the adapter and one will be surprised how easy it works. Made to fit a wide selection of phones and cases. Adjust very nicely to the eye piece before taking the photographs. I found no defects in the workmanship.

Saves time and eliminates frustration
Connecting a cell phone camera to a telescope or binocular can be a time consuming, special moment wasting frustration. The Celestron NexYZ 3-Axis Universal Mount is the exception! It’s design and principles are simple and obvious, but somehow ignored by the competition! Adding illustrated and easy to understand instructions makes the Celestron NexYZ 3-Axis Universal Mount the best reasonably priced connector for your cell phone camera.

Quality!
I got this mount since i had a a one size fits one phone adapter and after i got rid of said phone the newer phone would fit but the camera was in a different location so the mount was useless, that being said I’ve been looking for a good replacement! I own a Celestron az70 telescope and love their quality so I figured I would give the nexYZ universal smartphone adapter and it looks and feels pretty rugged and it’s easy to setup have to see how it holds up long term

Perfect addition for my scope!
I was so tired of trying to hold my cell phone up to the lens to take photos from my telescope and this was the perfect solution. Mounts easily up to your lens and allows you to precisely move the phone to focus its view.

Easy way to improve digiscoping photos with a spotting scope & phone camera
I had tried digiscoping by holding my cell phone up to the eyepiece of my spotting scope and it did not work very well! This gadget looks like Rube Goldberg designed it, but it worked well the first time I tried it today. A barred owl was sitting in a tree in my back yard so I got it in my spotting scope, clamped this on the the eyepiece, put my phone in the cradle, and in a few seconds I had it adjusted and got some great photos (see attached). You can also use it to show the image in the scope to a group of people at the same time, on the screen of your phone,

This One Works. Easy To Use.
I tired other, cheaper, smartphone adapters. None worked well. I finally went for the expensive adapter and it works well! Ease of use is fantastic. I got good pictures of the moon, Jupiter and Saturn with my iPhone 8 the first night I tried it. If you’re thinking of getting a telescope adapter for your smartphone, save some money and get this one first; don’t waste your money on cheaper ones you’ll just throw away after you eventually get this one.

Exactly what I needed
I saw this adapter at a trade show when it was not yet available for sale. I tried it at the Celestron booth and found it to be so incredible that I had to buy it. The second I found it for sale on Amazon, I jumped on it. This adapter finally got it right. It is really easy to use and aligned perfectly to my telescope. I have tried it on a number of optics, including my binoculars and spotting scope. I am getting really amazing results with this. The controls are smooth and the entire unit is solid - getting it to shoot through the optic is very easy. I have bought a number of these adapters in the past and this is the one that finally got it right.

Good for just about any cell phone and eyepiece combo
Used this with a Pixel2, several iPhones, Galaxy8 and Galaxy9 phones. The build quality is excellent and it works with larger eyepieces. I've tested the unit for fit on my large binoculars, and it looks like it will work, but I have not used it yet to get images of the moon, etc. This is a good product to get if you want to do "deep space" photography with a cell phone camera.

NexYZ Was Great at my Sidewalk Astronomy Sessions!
Full range 3-axis adjustments and a versatile locking eyepiece clamp make this cell phone mount a real winner. The phone-holder jaws even fit my huge iPhone 8+! I was relieved to find that the mount would support my bulky phone. To enhance stability, I simply make certain to select an eyepiece that has flat sides. (One reviewer complained that this mount failed to satisfy on round or barrel shaped eyepieces. Why did they try?) This device is so handy that I may purchase a spare. Polymer construction holds the weight down on the NexYZ but it has metal where it counts and a clever co-axial knob pair for X and Y axis adjustments. With this accessory, Celestron did a fine job of refining an existing concept to produce an innovative product for a good price.
