Nice built solid item and it does shut off with the flick of the thumb knob not like other valves which still drips and runs when the switch is flip to off.

Works perfectly to control the flow on my shower

I have a showerhead which I love, but I can't control the flow volume with my faucet. I kept runnign out of hot water when I'd take a long shower, due to my showerhead being a water hog. So, I installed this, and now I can turn the water flow volume up and down. It was so easy to install, and works really well! It also looks nice, and feels really high-quality.

Saves precious water

I purchased in Europe a wall-mounted handheld shower nozzle. I found the force of the water too strong that close, only a foot or so away. The on/off lever, unfortunately, is full blast on a warm setting. For $8.99, I received this easily installed device that reduces water flow by about 30 percent. I live in Florida, so water is plentiful. There is a saving I had not considered when buying this: Reduced shower water means I'm not heating the water being wasted. For those who live in semiarid regions (listen up, California) these devices should be on every showerhead. Don't kvetch about others wasting water. If you want someone to change the world, be the one.

Perfect Fit

Absolutely perfect. Fits onto the handle and the hose hooks to it. Does not stand out, easy to use. Unobtrosive and a perfect match if you have brushed metal hardware. Highly recommend.

shower cut off without a diverter!

This shut off (pause) valve is perfect. Instead of trying to find an additional diverter so I can use a shower head + hand shower I purchased this instead. Fits standard 1/2" has male one side and female one side. Seller was a genius to show hand piece + this valve+ hose connection! So simple!

works well, beautifully made

Bought to allow a hand shower to be turned on and off - the machining is perfect, this is not a cheap thing. It works smoothly and flawlessly.
