Good Price for Good Lights

I recieved these the three other day after ordering them and set them up in my garage to provide good overhead light. After opening them up, I was wondering if I would need two more... It's a 12x20 garage. After firing one up, it was pretty clear the four would be plenty. Hanging them was quick and easy. I connected them in series and tested them after the sun went down... There's an immense amount of light from these. Build quality is good. They are light weight and the bulbs are plastic... Not replaceable so I hope they last. Overall they are good quality and you can't beat the price.

Bright. Easy to install.

Bought 8 lamps for my workshop. Did use the hangers that came with lamps...probably would have preferred to screw direct to ceiling joists, but they say not to. Product was double boxed...no damage. All working. Nice 5' cord (again, would have preferred to just wire together, but put in receptacles and plugged in). Think these are enough to light my shop, but if not, will buy more of this brand.

Impressed so far

Since some reviews complained of DOA lights I tested each one before taking them several hundred miles to our new home. All were received with no damage and worked as they should. They are very bright compared to the T-8 and T-5 lights we have. The fixtures are not heavy and are a little flexible but due to the nature of LEDs they don't need to be heavy and rigid. The plastic tubes covering the LEDs are flexible and look like they would resist damage well. I like the look of the diamond plate on the housings. Time will tell how well they hold up but so far I'm pleased. I just wish they were available in a warmer 4000°K color temperature.

These things are bright!

Easy to install, light weight, and very bright. Installed them in the 14x24 addition to my existing garage and I am very pleased. Only drawback is the weight of the cords. if you want the light to hang level, you'll have to support the cords so they don't pull the lights to one side. I used some cable staples to fasten the cords to the rafters and keep the lights hanging level.

Really light weight and crazy bright.

Love how much brighter these are than my 8 ft lights. They are incredibly light so it makes it easy to put up if you have to do it by yourself. They come with a pull chain which is incredibly convenient for the plugs I have on my ceiling where I had to have my old lights plugged into extension cords so I could should them off but the chains really help remedy that with these. Wouldn't hesitate to buy more if I need them. Just don't make the mistake of looking into them when you reach up for the chain like I did.

Very bright Lights

I thought I was going to need 6 of these lights for my 2 and a half car garage. Glad I only ordered the 4 pack. With all 4 turned on it is like daylight in my garage. I really like the on/off pull chains. I can easily turn lights on in different sections as I need more light. Most of the time I only have one on at a time. Did I mention they are bright? If you are prone to migraines or sensitive to light these are not for you !!

5K light is great for an active space

These Sunco 5K lights are great! Easy install and really light up the shop space in the basement. With buying the house, I inherited some 8 foot long old school mercury-containing tube lights in the basement. As the bulbs died I chose to replace the lights with these LED lights. The 5K light is brighter and whiter than the old tube lights that produced a more yellow color light, but I think that is a plus. As more tube lights die, I’ll be buying more of these Sunco lights to replace them.

Literally night, and then day. I had a make shift light in the middle of the room balanced onto of a bucket, in the first picture. Super easy install, chained them together. And well place them on a switch, when the walls go up. Love the dimond plate metal look, and it is actual metal housing!

Great light output without extra heat or fluorescent hum.

We purchased the 4 pack for our garage for woodworking. Great light output, without extra heat or that annoying fluorescent hum. Easy to install. Can operate each light bar independently. Each bar comes with plenty of chain length to let you adjust the height to meet your needs. Very pleased.

Awesome shop lights

I used these in my finished storage attic. Wired 4 in series. Easy to wire together and comes with few mounting options. A superb product. Very bright. Well engineered and fit my need perfectly. I’ll buy another 4-pack to retrofit the garage.
