This is awesome!

this has been a lifesaver . I love the Ring system but was sick and tired of getting up on the ladder to change the batteries . Now with this new charging cable All i had to do was plug it into outlet and battery is always charged. It is a great invention I am so Happy I ordered . the units arrived without the screws to attach the charger all I had to do was contact the company and they sent the screws out a week later hopefully they can improve on this but no big deal I would order this item again in a heartbeat because it is a great invention

Missing Screws, but they sent some.

I’m so happy I stumbled upon this product. I originally was going to buy their solar panel for the Spotlight Camera, but our camera isn’t in a convenient location for the solar. This plug keeps my battery at 100%. No need to constantly charge it now. The cable is really thin like an iPhone charging cable. It’s also 21ft, which is plenty. Our plugs came without the two needed screws to secure it to the camera, but I reached out to them and they shipped the screws the next day. Definitely recommend this for the spotlight camera.

Ring's Best Friend!

This is a great accessory for the Ring Spotlight Solar. My camera at the backdoor is too far to place is a strategic spot for optimal sunlight, and Winter solace has made it even more difficult as the sun used to come directly over the house in the summer. So after finding this solution and testing for several days, I find this is the best solution that works for this camera. My other cameras are too far away from the power source and will remain on solar (but I've made my own extensions to clear the eve for maximum sunlight).

Needed for Ring battery powered cam...

If you are tired of dragging the ladder out and climbing up to your Ring camera to recharge the battery, this is for you. Works like a charm and keeps the battery at 100%. Never climb up there again. Easy to install with plenty of wire provided. If I had one suggestion I would say put a power jack on the charger end to be able to drill a smaller hole in your house to feed the wire thru if using an inside outlet.

Charging- 5 stars product!

Works as described. Eliminate the need to swap out batteries or purchase these expensive batteries. High quality wires and connects to camera without any problem. The only issue I had was that the manual stated that there were some screws they would fasten the wire connector to the camera. None of these screws were included in any of the packages that I received from Amazon. The battery started to charge right away. I highly recommend this. Note to Manufacturer, please make sure these screws are included in the package.

Alternative to solar panel

I own 4 RING cameras which are on solar panels, the one that did not I purchased extra batteries to exchange as needed, this became a weekly routine, I decided since I had a wall plug near by in my backyard to buy this and is doing a terrific job, works well. I did have to contact the company for the missing screws which they responded and sent me a couple of missing screws to secure to the camera.

Great AC Charger

I got this AC adapter so it will keep both of my batteries fully charged for my Ring spotlight battery security camera so far it is working very good, when i hooked it up my one battery was at 61% the other 100% that was at 7:15pm by 9:10pm the app showed the battery was 85% an 100% so i know this charger was working very good. i didnt want to buy the wire spot light cam cause the ac wire on that was way to thick. Had to email the seller because it did not come with the screws, they sent me the needed screws DHL got them in 5 days great customer service thank you.

Easy to install

Used the charger for my Ring Spotlight Camera located above my garage door. I live in a culdesac, so I have the motion zone set to catch cars as they come in and out of the culdesac and the Motion Frequency to Frequent. Throughout the day the battery level will drop, but by morning the batteries are fully charged. I wish the charger would keep my Ring Spotlight Cam fully charged at all times. I do like the fact that the charger is waterproof and super simply to install.

Plug in for Ring Battery Camera

Installed this yesterday. The one battery was down to under 30%. After I installed it within a couple of hours it had charged the battery to 100%. Very easy to install since I already had the solar panel hooked into the camera. Had to change to the plugin because where the solar panel was it was not getting direct sunlight in the fall/wintertime to keep the batteries charged. The solar panel worked great till then.
