Perfect fit on my 2005 Duramax. One bolt to remove and install new hoist. Seems to be well built.

This hoist appears to be well made and fit my truck perfectly. No issues to report and I have checked periodically for 3 weeks to see if any loosening/unwinding/stretching has occurred -- still nicely hoisted up under the bed. **This hoist is made specifically for the larger bore in the HD wheels**

Updated version & works great. No stuck lock to deal with.

This is the updated version of the tire hoist. It does not have the lock that always sticks open preventing the lowering of the tire. It works perfectly, but you still need to go under the truck to remove it from the hoist. Terrible system.

easy replacement

I had to replace the rusted factory winch on my 2010 Silverado 2500HD. The new winch fit perfectly one bolt install.

Good replacement for a bad OEM design

Ordered this unit to replace the original unit installed with our 2006 GMC 3500 Sierra. The original system had a secondary safety latch that is prone to issues - causing much frustration when removing the tire. This new unit is sturdily built, with all holes and flanges aligning properly with the original hoist. Also - shipping was very quick and packaging suitable for this product. Hopefully I will never need to buy one again, but if so, this will be the unit I look for.

Easy Install

Easy install. Most people can do this themselves. Unit appears to be well made. As stated, it does not have the secondary safety lock like the OEM. If you want the lock, you can order through a local dealer. Expect to pay $200 online for an OEM plus S/H.
