Exact replacement for Hampton bays switch

Perfect replacement for our Hampton bays fan. Easy diy fix. No instructions but it’s not really necessary. Use a paper clip or something similar to release each wire from old switch, then just push wires into correct slot.

Exact replacement and easy to install

Easy to install in my Hunter ceiling fan. If you look closely at it, you'll find where you can release the spring tab. Just insert a small jeweler's screwdriver to release the tension on the spring tab that's holding the original wiring in place. Then push the now removed original wiring into the same location on the new switch. No need for wire nuts or cutting any wires.

Found this switch online and with the youtube for this replacement made this task straight forward. Sure beats buying a new ceiling fan.

Perfect replacement for my Hampton Bay ceiling fan

Works as expected! Recommend removing old switch to verify if this will work before purchasing. If you have a 4 wire - high, medium, low, off type of fan switch this should work. Just make sure to connect the wires as on the original.

Works Great, But Instructions Need Improvement

Works great, but directions were not clear enough for a novice like myself. Found better ones online. Advice for novices: take a picture of your previous switch, especially if your wires are colored differently!
