Very Nice Camera

I bought one of these for my side yard. It is perfect. Wide range viewing, very clear in the daylight, cloudy days and very clear at night. I got this for my garage and side yard to keep an eye on since I can't see that area from the house. The motion is very sensitive so I have to set it on light or snowflakes set it off. I liked this camera so well, I bought a second one a month later for the other side of my house for the car view. I am very happy with the cameras. The micro disc was easy to install, the camera records motion and replays with ease. I chose the camera with the dual antennas for the 5g but it installed on the 2 g. Sharing the camera was a breeze. Just have the other person download the app, and scan your bar code and its working. Setting up the camera for me at first was a tad confusing but when I figured it out that you hook it up first with the wifi box then unplug for wireless it was fine. The app with the two cameras show both views at once, just touch one an it opens for a larger live view. I really like the cameras so far. . I really love the fact I can sit at work and check in on my home with my phone.

Found that Varmint that was eating my Figs

High quality camera at a really good price. It was fairly easy to set up and the free software seems to work well. The very first night I found that mouse that has been eating the our Brown Turkish Figs (See the Photo... really good night vision shot). The fig tree had probably 20 to 30 figs on it and now there is only one left. I bought a $60 electronic squirrel/rat/mouse repellent device that did absolutely nothing to keeps the mice away from the figs. The last ripe fig was eaten a couple of days ago before my Reolink Camera arrived. I will be writing a review on that device also. I didn't use the smart phone app or the SD Card. I am using the Reolink Client software for the PC. It was easy to install and fairly easy to set up. Just watch out for windows 10 security not allowing the video feed to come through. That message window was in the background and took me a while to find it, then everything hooked up and worked fine. A couple of little things could be improved, like putting you cursor over an icon to get text about its functionality, only works on some of the icons, which make it harder to learn the software. Overall for the price, it has great picture quality and software that works for my needs. Which is create video clips on motion detection so I can figure what type of critters are running around in my back yard at night. Hopefully I will not find any human critters running around back there.

I 💕 my Reolink camera!!

I'm so impressed with this camera! Wasn't sure what to expect for the low price tag but I was pleasantly surprised! It has a super clear beautiful picture, absolutely no problem with just a Wi-Fi connection and makes me feel safer living alone. I WILL be buying more Reolink products. Highly recommend!!

Excellent value for the $$.

We paid full price for this Reolink camera and were not compensated for this review. We've had this up and running for about a month. This will be an easy installation for those who can follow directions and are a bit tech savvy. We are connected with 3 iphones, a chromebook, and a windows PC. Installing the Reolink app on our iphones and PC was very easy both to configure the router connection and navigate the app.. Of the 3 I have the least amount of experience with a chromebook. That being said, for me the installation of the Reolink app from the google play store was less intuitive and a bit clunky. Our router and camera haven't lost their connection or had to be rebooted since the camera went live. We have a 32gig micro sd card installed that records a 15 second clip upon motion detection. We also have it configured to email a still pic upon motion detection during set hours. We are very happy so far, durability is still a question though. If it fails this review will be updated.

Has RTSP! Power on, sign into app, snap picture of barcode and its done!

Video quality is okay. You'd think 1440p would be super high quality, but its just 1080p upscaled or 1440p at a pathetic bitrate. Attached are screenshots from the app and a guide I made on how to setup the camera and rtsp with iSpy incase you'd like to locally store the footage/pictures on your local network/server like myself.

These ReoLink security cameras do exactly what I wanted

I live full time on one of the largest lakes in the U.S. where the houses are right on the water front and I wanted a security camera system to look out at my dock in front of my lake house (and road side of my house) when not at home (mainly to see my boats and if everything is OK at the dock... We get some huge wakes hitting the docks). The photo I posted was from night time and it is pitch dark on the lake side of my house with no flood lights on that are under the eaves of the house to see the dock. Look at how well this camera's night system works. With the naked eye it's hard to see lake side at all without turning on a flood light(s). I can see over a quarter mile past the dock on the other side of my cove. On the road side of my lake house, I have another camera placed so I can see all around the back area of the house, specifically the patio and door area (road side), up the steps to the road and then up the lake road. I can see my part time neighbors driveway at the back of their house on that side of my house (and parts of both neighbors docks). Great degree of the viewing field left and right and up and down. Quality of the photos during the day are excellent, and very good in the dark of night. Setting up cameras: Ease of set up was good, the instructions were adequate and if you follow what they say to do you should not have a problem at all setting up the cameras (I am an engineer and very tech savvy, so I know how to work through something if it is not explained very well). But, I think the average person should not have a problem. The one thing that would have helped is if the user could see the passwords as you are putting them in to make sure you got your password right (if you don't, then you may have to delete a camera and start over). Well explained to hook the cameras to your router first, get them working and initiated into your wi-fi system at home, then disconnect them and install them outside. I used a 25' extension cord to keep my cameras plugged in and live easily as I determined the location and angles I wanted my cameras to be in. Play with the physical cameras themselves to get used to how they move and what you can do to adjust them. The Allen Wrench use is not explained very good at all for the base of the camera, if any instruction is even given. But, loosen the Allen nut and see how you can swivel the camera in different directions before you install them permanent. The cameras work great if you are on your home wi-fi system or you are away and using cellular data to view the cameras. I read reviews on many cameras on Amazon, except I never say this one. A friend of mine has this ReoLink system and was showing me his remote feed on day. I went home and found them on Amazon and decided to go with them. Some were cheaper and some more, but the fact that got me to buy these cameras was the quality of the remote feed, ease of using the app and price. I am glad I saw my friend using his one day and he showed me, because it led me to the ReoLink cameras and I bought them over what I was going to buy. I can't comment on the motion detector part of the camera and the notification system for the motion detector, as I don't use it and don't care about this feature, I just wanted it for live viewing (my friend does use this part of the system and likes it and says it works fine).

Works well enough.

Easy to setup and easy to mount UNLESS you need to get the power/reset/LAN connectors through the wall and into your home for power - you'll either need to drill a big hole or cut off the network connector once you have the camera configured. I did the latter, but then I have the ability to fit a new one should I ever need to reconfigure the camera from scratch. I certainly don't suggest you do the same. The hole I drilled is directly behind the camera mount, so the cabling for the camera can't be seen at all - it just seemed like the cleanest way to do it. From a software perspective, the only thing I can fault it for is the inability to send a useful snapshot of what is going on - I quite often get a picture of my driveway showing nothing abnormal until I then review the captured video footage and find that someone has been on it or has walked by. I do find the app far more intuitive than the PC software, particularly for playback, so I would suggest most stick with that. I'm going to install a second camera for my front pathway and maybe a third for the back yard. Both these places already have an outdoor power outlets close by, so I expect I'll be using those instead of drilling more holes. I'd like to have both WI-FI and bi-directional audio for the front door camera, so I'll have to see what Reolink has to suit.

Clarity is unbelievable for the price

Outstanding quality and clarity of these cameras is amazing. I have been researching different cameras for the last couple months and finally settled on REOLINK. I am so glad i did i cannot be happier with this decision. We have a few break-ins in our neighborhood and see people posting their camera footage and pictures. Most are blurry and washed out and you can barely make out who was caught on camera. A bit of advice when setting them is to use your phone, create an account and then add the camera to it buy scanning the QR CODE on the camera. The images i posted are with NO LIGHTS ON, just the night vision quality of the camera in my driveway. I loaded an app from the Amazon store called Tiny IP Camera onto my Amazon firebox. Once you have your cameras setup on your network, just start up the app Tiny IP Camera and follow the directions. Now i can view all my REOLINKS on my regular tv through my Amazon Firebox.

Easy to setup, easy to use

I bought three of these cameras to replace some older Foscam ones. Setup was very easy and my only major issue is compatibility with IPCamViewer (a 3rd party mobile app) and SecuritySpy for mac. The ReoLink app works great and provides crystal clear images in real time. The dual-band wireless is excellent and I am consistently getting signal on two of my three cameras. I am working on a way to extend my wireless to the third, however, I may end up just running an ethernet cable (the issue is with the signal, not the cameras themselves). The issue I am having with IPCamViewer and SecuritySpy is that the stock setting simply does not work. The only way I was able to get them working is through ONVIF. While this is ok, and it works, it does not provide a great frame rate and or a solid signal. I am not new to setting up security cameras and I do not think the issue is with my setup, rather, the capabilities to handle multiple streams at once. In my setup, one stream is recording 24/7 to a computer, another is displayed on a tablet by my front door, and then a third and fourth is used by me and my wife's phones whenever we log in. I am still working to resolve the issue and will update my review if I find a solution. Overall, these are some of the easiest cameras to set up that I have ever used. The picture quality and image range and width are great. The IR (night vision) is usable, and the dual-band sets them above most others. I would buy these again in the future.
