Cable detaches easily from phone

Love Anker products I never use the OEM cables due to the fact that Anker cables are better overall. The quality of these are the same i expect fro. all Anker products, durable. But the only problem I have with these that really irritates me is the slightest pull of the cable and the cable detaches I leave my phone charging as i drive and by the time I arrive to work I find the cable had unplugged from my phone or if I have it plugged to my portable battery in my backpack it has come unlpugged I thought it was my phone but my previous cables and OEM cables fit snug I don't kniw if this is a problem or I just got some lemons Edit Anker contacted me and shipped me out replacement cables that worked great good company to buy from

Anker always delivers quality items, a USB-C I can trust

After reading some articles that using cheap chinese no name brand usb-c cables can potentially damage your phone, I decided to pay the extra money to get these Anker cables. They fast charge like a boss, and I have zero fear that they cable will damage my new Samsung note 9. If I'm going to spend $1000 on a phone, I should at least spend the 7-8 dollars for quality cables! I confirmed that the cable does indeed fast charge.

It's what it's designed to do

It's a USB type-C cable made from a reliable brand, Anker. So far it's served me really well, ended up getting the 2 pack in case I needed two since my younger brother also has a phone that requires USB type C along with some of his friends as well, so having another one is definitely a good thing. It definitely feels better quality compared to some of the cheaper options out there, it doesn't randomly disconnect if you move it around a small bit. Pros: +good wire length +comes from a good recognizable brand +regular USB type-A which is still wisely used "Cons": -both ends are not USB type-C if that is something that interests you, but it's not a real con of the product.

Nice. Sturdy. Great length. So far, so good! No problems with fast charging. These chargers work well, if not better than the charging cable my phone came with. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

These are USB-C to older USB-A 2.0, not USB 3.0, if that's what you're looking for.

Like some others, I missed that these cables were not USB-A 3.0. I decided to live with that, but found out that they wouldn't transfer data to or from my PC. Anker's Customer Service sent an RMA to return the cables, and just before I packed them up, I decided to try plugging them into the USB 2.0 jack in the back of my PC. (I had been trying them in the front-panel USB 3.0 jacks, figuring on backward-compatibility). Lo and behold, they worked fine in the USB 2.0 jack! A little disappointed to have the much slower data transfer rate, but they're great quality cables, and Anker's service is extraordinary.

A good cable makes all the difference

I used to blow off the recommendations from people to get a high quality charging cable. "Pffft, why bother? I got this free one in a box of Fruit Brute!" It was only after I got my first order of Anker micro USB charge cables that I realized how much of a fool I'd been. My new phone has a USB-C input, so I needed new cables to replace my USB-micro heavy portfolio. I didn't even hesitate to buy them from Anker. They have not disappointed. They have a luxurious fabric braid covering, a solid feeling heft, and a connector that both latches in securely but disconnects smoothly. 6/5 stars.

Ok here is the exact story of why I ended up buying these cables. I recently updated my phone, from the galaxy S7 edge, to the galaxy S8 plus. So this new phone was the first thing i owned that used the type c cable, instead of the micro USB. So I didn't really have any of type C cables except for the one original. So the first thing I needed quickly was a cable for my car, not only for charging, but also to connect to my system android auto, which I use everytime I drive. So given that i needed quickly i figured I'll buy one first in a discount store, I got one that looked like the best one they had. I tested it first at home, I was happy to see that it worked fine, even fast charging. But even I connected it to my car system..... it was no good. It would connect, but every time I barely touched the cable it would disconnect. So driving with the GPS and music and having disconnect every few minutes, was just too annoying. So I got a different cable. Same thing. The car system kept disconnecting. So I figured I'm gonna do what I knew I should of done in the beginning. So go Amazon and get Anker cables. I just knew they would work fine. And what do you know, it works perfectly! I kept shaking the cable hard to see if it would disconnect. But nothing. Stays connected perfectly now for the whole drive. And for the price I got these, they didn't cost anything more than those crappy ones I got. I wish I had started with these. Hopefully I'll remember this lesson next time

Best cables you can find!!

Since I found Anker, I never buy any chargers or cables anywhere else. They are durable, fast just like they say, and don't have problems connecting to devices like, android auto for example, the way you do with other aftermarket cables. I only bought these cables because we recently moved and I can't find ours, NOT because they don't work! :) If I had any criticism, it would be that they don't come in different colors. I prefer that everyone in the house have a different color; the kids have a habit of misplacing theirs and just claiming mine!

Great Customer Support

Would give perfect stars, but just had one of the cables finally bust on me, right where the cable meets the USBC connector.. a prime spot. I've had it less than a year, only use at night when charging my phone. It received moderate use, for about an hour every night, before remaining stationary until the morning. I was a little shocked because it wasn't the cable itself, but the little rubber protecting it finally wore away, exposing wires (not nylon), making it almost dangerous to use. So I contacted Anker support right away, they were fast and friendly, even following up after the replacement was sent to see how I was doing. I was blown away by the customer service, that it's what made me leave the review. I got to keep my old cable, which promptly went into the trash, and the new cable they sent infact is a better higher quality than the original. So thank you!

This is the best charging cable on the market hands down!!

I ordered the Anker USB Type-A to Type-C Cable thinking that I was doing what I have to do every couple months with the typical aftermarket charging cable however the Anker brand is not like any other I've ever purchased. This is a highly durable cable that you can rely on, for starters it has a premium double braided nylon exterior, precision insulated 23-awg wires, aluminum shielding, copper shielding, TPE insulation, nylon shielding. The connectors also have reinforced necks to reduce damage from bending, and this cable doesn't seem to tangle or get knotted like other's. It syncs data at super fast speeds, and can charge my Note 8 & my wifes Note 10+ at maximum speed (just as fast if not faster than the factory OEM cable) . It comes with a neat velcro strap to help you keep the excess cable out of the way. I had a question about the 2 pack 6'ft cable's I ordered & within the same hour of sending Anker an email they had already replied and are extremely helpful, super friendly/knowledgeable about everything I had to ask them. I highly recommend if you're looking for a extremely high quality & durable product there's no reason to look anymore. I will definitely purchase again when I need a replacement (which won't be for a very long time) due to the high standards & quality of this one.
