Finally a product that is small, functioned perfectly as expected. I have double monitors on my desk and do not have any more room for large docking stations like other products.

This is one of the least expensive 60 Hz, 4K adapters for USB-C and I have to say it is a great performer right out of the box. The only thing that would make this a hands down "only choice" would be if it was able to power/charge the laptop when it is plugged in. It has lots of USB 3.0 ports and drives my WQHD monitors perfectly without dropping out or flickering. This gets a strong recommendation from me as a generic USB-C to 4K solution!

After my Plugable docking station crashes my brand new laptop multiple times while trying to wake it up, I thought it was best to try something different. The Plugable used to take between 5 to 10 seconds to wake up the computer and all the monitors with a Windows sound for each device that is connected, but this one takes up to 2 seconds. It makes only one sound to wake up the computer and all the devices are automatically available. This one is about 75% faster than the plugable and my internet speed is about 40% faster than it used to be with the Plugable. I doubted it because there's no DVI and VGA ports on this one, but I'm still able to connect 5 monitors on this one like on the Plugable and now waiting to receive a USB 3 to VGA adapter to connect an additional monitor. One of my concern so far is that sometimes while watching a video on Pluralsight and typing at the same time it takes a few seconds for the letters to show up, so I have to pause the video before I continue typing. I hope that won't be an issue. I would have taken half of a star for that but since there's no fraction of stars I decided to give the whole 5 stars.

I had to first return a defective docking station, but so far the replacement has had no issues. The first one would shut off randomly and would only turn on after unplugging and plugginh back in. I use thr new one everyday with two monitors, a speaker system, mouse, keyboard, and a phone charger. It works flawlessly. A bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

I did not encounter any difficulties during the installation and the product has been running well. I can leave it at work with peripherals and Ethernet cables. Just plug the docking station into the USB port on my laptop and I can connect to everything immediately. It's definitely worth the money to easily turn my beautiful small hybrid tablet / laptop into a full-size desktop in a few seconds!

I have this connecting my Lenova thinkpad, LG and Acer monitors, Kodak scanner, usb keyboard, wireless mouse and 2 epson printers. Great product so I can easily take my laptop when I need to. No delays as far as I can tell, screen quality seems no different as well. Kind of wish it had a stand to minimize its footprint while allowing access.

I compared model after model of USB C docking stations and this was by far my favorite - Supports 2 additional 4k or 1 5k monitor (both HDMI and DisplayPort), has separate mic and headphone jacks, 6 USB ports, and a LAN port. I bought this for my Lenovo Yoga 920 since it has far less ports than i would like for days that i would like to use my External Hard Drive, CD Drive, along with various other USB devices. So far I am very pleased and is exactly what I wanted. I have it command-stripped to my desk to keep it steady in place with my Hard drive ready to go whenever I need it! Definitely be sure to download the Display Link Driver (but not Actual Multiple Monitors unless you plan on paying for it, totally unnecessary). I couldn't figure out why the HDMI ports were not working until I downloaded the driver. Does not support charging while plugged in, but it has just about anything else you would need. Highly recommend!

This is perfect for my workstation with two monitors and all the USB,display ports . It works well and helps keep the tangle of cords under control. AND there's also mic port for it! The one that I had before do not have it so it's huge find!

The device has USB 3.0 cable and a power adapter. You can hook up 2 monitors one HDMI or 2 Displayport. This device allows you to link up multiple devices at one time. I use this to be able to have dual monitors for work. The device is easy to use. Works well.

I know it uses displaylink chipset, which is going to compatible with both windows and linux, and also one of the major reasons to drive me get this product. I have both windows and Linux systems, from work and home, constantly unplug and plug all the cables is really annoying, I'm glad this product works across both platforms. Now I can plug the network cable, keyboard and mouse, display, etc. everything on this dock and just need to run single and the only one usb cable back to the computer and everything is connected! Yes, one cable needs to be replug across different laptops instead of multiple cables. Very good product which brings convenience. There is one to note which is true across all usb display products... the extra display is for productivity like web design or word processing and the like, not for display or gpu intensive like gaming or constant video watching which is not the usb display products intended for. Great and recommended multi-ports full features docking including usb hub, extra display, gigabit Ethernet and audio.
