Cured my WHINING power steering problem.

I have a 2004 Acura TL with 237,000 miles currently. I put this pump on about 10,000 miles ago and it is still running great. My old pump was having some whining problems with "cavitation" aka air getting into the lines from somewhere. I replaced all of the O-rings and soft lines (which were no longer soft from being old) and that did not solve my problem. SO, I moved on to replacing the pump The installation only took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, it is a fairly straight forward process and can be done with limited mechanic skills in my opinion. I immediately noticed a difference when I started up the car after installing. No more whine and my steering seemed more free. The steering wheel seemed to turn more freely than before. I will update this review if I encounter any problems in the future but it is currently running strong.

Great replacement part

This pump works great. It is a good replacement for the original. Installed on a 2008 Honda Pilot. Now time will tell if it lasts. It does not come with replacement O-Rings, so make sure to buy those separately.

So far so good

Installation and replacement was straight forward. FYI mine didn't come with new o-rings but I'm not sure it was suppose to. I reused the old o-rings and haven't seen any leaks but I wonder if it was suppose to come with new ones. So far the new pump works great but it has only been a few days.

Good replacement pump

What's to say? This is a replacement power steering pump for a 2016 Honda Pilot. The pump came in one piece and was correct when comparing to OEM product. My only complaint, and that's with all replacements, is what gives with having to remove pulley from old pump? Makes no sense to me. Back in the day pumps came with pulleys. Guess no longer. Would buy again if needed.

Worked Great, the 2006 Odyssey runs great now

I should have changed my pump years ago. The rattling sound caused by a bad pump has been driving me crazy for years, but this pump fixed it right up. It was a perfect fit, and took a couple hours to switch out. I recommend getting an impact wrench to remove the old pulley from the old pump to add to this one. Most pumps re-use the nearly indestructible pulley to keep cost down.

Perfect Fit - Effortless Install

Appears to be a quality part. Exact perfect fit. Easy installl. It would have been nice to include the high pressure hose O-Ring. It’s a new part so I washed my hands before installing. Lol.

So far so good

This power steering pump fit my Honda Odyssey perfectly. After a week driving around it is working perfectly. It appears to be the same as the OEM Honda pump I took off. I’m not sure about the longevity of this pump. I guess time will tell. It’s worth saving $350 off the Honda part to give it a shot.

Fit my 07 Pilot perfectly fast easy install

My old power steering pump went out on my 07 Honda Pilot and was making a lot whining noise consistently. I installed and noise is gone. Steering now smooth. Use only Honda genuine power steering fluid! There is a great instructional video on Youtube from 1A auto that gives you easy step by step instructions for install. Install Procedure takes 20 min

Fixed my leak. Quiet operation. Just remember to use synthetic PS FLUID.
