Mini hdmi to standard hdmi works

Item was as described. Worked well for 720p60Hz connecting a video card to video monitor using my existing long hdmi cable and adapting it to the smaller hdmi port on the card.

Did not notice Mini HDMI plug on one end.

My error made this item useless. I didn't realize there was such a thing as mini hdmi.

Well Made Short Mini HDMI to Standard HDMI Female Cable

This is a fine short adapter cable. It works perfectly and fill the need well for going from a mini-hdmi equipped camera or device without having to keep a full length adapter cable around. Things I like are: + Short/Compact adapter that fits into my bag easily. + Lets me use existing standard HDMI cables that most everyone with a HDTV has. + Well made connectors should handle a lot of plugging/unplugging No downsides so far. This compact/short cable fits my specific needs perfectly and is small so it takes very little room in my bag. It lets me use common HDMI cables that are usually available where I want to play videos on a TV or monitor. I'm giving this little cable 5 stars. I'm very pleased.

Does what it says!

Works great, and fits Canon DSLR Port protectors perfectly.

I needed a longer cable to tether my Canon DSLR to an external monitor, and while I had no problems finding good Mini HDMI to HDMI cables, the problem was that they were either too big to fit in the Canon cable protector, or too loose for the protector to be effective. So my solution was to buy this adapter (6"). The Mini HDMI end fits snug in the protector, and its just long enough to wrap through the strain relief. It saves wear and tear on the ports, increases the effectiveness of the port protector (the longer HDMI-HDMI cable should unplug from the adapter first) and its short enough to stay out of the way.

It's a HDMI cable. Does what it is supposed to. It is not a length that is going to see a lot of strain. Works just like it should.

A handy converter cable that works.

There is really not much to say about digital cables. Usually they either work or they don't. This one is no different. I connected my tablet to a TV and I was able to view content on a bigger screen. It is pretty short at 6" but you need to connect it to a type A male HDMI cable anyway so you can make it whatever length you need. The only thing I question is why they show a USB reference chart instead of an HDMI chart on the description page. Probably just an oversight.
