Scans great!
Works great! I have hundreds of old slides from the 1950s. It scans them right to the card so you can load them to a computer. Let's you flip pictures before saving. The pictures come out beautiful. Can't believe the colors on these 50+ year old slides. My only complaint is that there are no real instructions on how to use it so you have to figure it out. Thank you! I have attached a sample. This picture was taken in 1955 by my parents.

The quality is just as good as it would have been in the original photos
My husband purchased this item to scan a bunch of old negatives. The quality is just as good as it would have been in the original photos. Great product, and I like how compact it is.

The menu system is very easy to navigate and I can scan the movie intuitively ...
I ordered this film and slide scanner specifically to scan and convert my old 35 mm negatives into digital photos. Therefore, I can not provide any comments on the ability to convert any other format. As a stereotype, of course I did not read the instructions and immediately inserted a 20-year negative cartridge and inserted the cartridge into the scanner. The menu system is very easy to navigate and I can scan the movie intuitively in a few minutes and save it on an external memory card. Please consider that I am not a professional or even amateur photographer. I'm seeing this product My mentality is that I am an ordinary consumer, I just want to convert the negative information of my old family into a modern digital format. On this basis, the quality of production has exceeded my expectations. For those who wish to invest more time and energy in this process, there are additional menu options to adjust the color composition. Before inserting the cartridge and the scanner, I can also spend more time and energy cleaning the film. I loaded one of the negative outputs of 20 years that you measure yourself. The verdict: quickly and easily converts old and negative information into a modern format. I just had a good night, turning old negative emotions, restoring some very old memories. I'm excited about the simplicity of the device and I really like the output. From my point of view, must to be a five stars.

Great Product!
When my father-in-law passed, my wife took possession of thousands of slides he had taken. We had quotes from companies of $1000 + to get them converted. I wondered if there was something better, and found this item. Not only does it work great, my wife gets to view each slide and decide if she wants to keep it. As far as I am concerned, this item saved me over $1000.

Glad I bought portable slide scanner
Reading directions are a must to set it up. Need to have a flash card for the setup. It requests that. You might be able to use without, but we could not figure it out. Unsure as to size of card to use. We get 8G because we were guessing it might not accept larger and it worked. It was setup initially to handle negatives so kept rereading intructions to see why things came out incorrectly. Once set up, not hard to use. Scanned about 900 slides so far.

Works great for turning Analog to digital
I bought this as a gift for my father who has thousands of slides. I have started scanning a few of them and this product works great; it took a little bit Tom figure out that the SD card didn't work with it but when I found another it works great. Simple and easy to use and turns out great quality for my dad's ancient slides into digital copiew

Well worth the price for plug and play professional scans.
Works great producing HD scans of slides, negatives, etc quickly and effortlessly. I was up and running right away and quickly processed more that 200 slides in about two hours. Would have been faster but I couldn't help but stop and and reminisce. The in line viewer is a big plus and the various adapter make feed through simple.

Great Product
This worked great for digitizing my old 126 slides. I couldn’t believe how good my photos came out. Easy to open in iPhoto and used iPhoto to edit. I thought the instructions were fairly simple to follow for a novice like me. However, my instruction manual was only several paragraphs & no trouble shooting info. As soon as I put a slide in, memory said full. You definitely need a memory card inserted. They do have a contact email which I used and received a response immediately. I haven’t used the 8mm yet, but that’s next. I feel this product was well worth the price.

This is a really nice scanner for 35mm film
This is a really nice scanner for 35mm film. It is quick and imports very good quality photos. Great for converting your old slides into a digital format before they disintegrate.
