Beautiful instrument!

I can't stress enough how beautiful quality this instrument is. I am a beginner, but after tuning it, the sound is great too. Easy to do with the included tuner. I am very happy with this banjo. The included extras made this a great deal that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn the banjo.

Small for an adult

Considering the price of a good banjo this is a bargain for someone who wants to learn, even if it is an adult.

Beautiful Instrument!

This is a great purchase. I had my doubts because it was so cheaply priced but after receiving this banjo and playing it, I am very impressed. As everyone is supposed to know, you get what you pay for. Some reason on Amazon, people forget this. They would like to pay bottom dollar for a too dollar item then complain it's not a top dollar item when they get it. This Vangoa banjo is probably as good as you will get if not better for the price you pay. Separate from damaged items which would be a shipping/ customer service issue. This would not be the item review. I did my research on this banjo before I purchased it. I did not want to spend $500.00 on a name brand banjo or spend $3000.00 and up on a top of the line banjo. Now if I had and there were issues with it, that would be understandable but $175.00 and it comes with a case, strings, tuner, picks and a strap. Well that's a great buy no matter what. I had no problems tuning the banjo, and it was way out of tune when I got it. Vangoa is a new company trying to make a name for themselves. I do believe they will if they continue to make instruments like this banjo. It sounds great and looks great. There is no way you can complain about it for the price you pay. I would highly recommend this banjo or looking into other Vangoa instruments to purchase. The case is good, the picks are a bit small. I would recommend buying some metal ones. The tuner works great. The strap is a bit thin and makes a good backup so I would definitely purchase a better quality nicer looking one that has more personality than just a thin black one. It shipped fast and was packaged nicely. Bottomline, even with the cheaper end strap and picks, this banjo is beautiful and sounds great. I would definitely purchase a Vangoa banjo or other instruments in the future. Although still looking for a teacher, I purchased this banjo as a beginner and have been able to make due with Youtube lessons and some guitar experience. I cannot evaluate it as a pro, but I've found no fault with it as a beginner!

A killer little banjo for the money!

This is an amazing little instrument! The fit and finish is something you might expect on a much more expensive instrument. I've been loving playing it for the past few days since I got it and my grandson, who is six, has picked it up and expressed a real interest. It is just his size and I can see why he likes it ...... I love it myself! If you buy this banjo and have doubts about it, take it to a banjo player. I promise he'll be amazed!
