Easy to use, easy to clean, incredible coffee!

Don't overthink the pour-over method. I am the only coffee drinker in my house so I bought this instead of yet another Keurig because I can't stand constantly cleaning it to avoid a weird taste. I used a pyrex measuring cup to boil water in the microwave. I did cover the coffee grounds in water and let sit for 30 seconds (pour-over tip I saw in the reviews) and then I found it quite therapeutic to slowly pour the water over, while enjoying the smell. The taste of the coffee? Without a doubt the best cup I have ever brewed at home (& I am no expert on pour-over coffee brewing methods). What an awesome find!

Quality cup of coffee!!!

I love my pour over coffee mug!!! It’s the perfect size to sit on top of all my mugs and to-go cups. It’s better than the key rig coffee. I wish the cup was a little bigger so I could pour the hot water over the grounds once and go do other things. I like a large cup of coffee so I fill the cup with hot water once, wait until it drains down and pour it full of hot water again. Overall very convenient!

High quality Ceramic pour over

The Simply Charmed pour over is well made and best of all a #2 filter fits perfectly. I like things that do what they say they will do, others don't i. e Trusty Brew Ceramic pour over. Both do the job, but one is well designed and the other substandard. Rail Bender

Makes good coffee!

I was looking for a coffee maker that is reasonably priced, easy to clean, and makes good coffee... and this does the trick! Before buying this, I usually used either a french press or a stove top espresso maker. But after a couple months' use, I found them somewhat difficult to clean thoroughly (i.e. leftover grinds caught in the sieve/filter, residual stains were difficult to completely wash out because of angular shape, can't put in dishwasher, etc.) and that whatever leftover "gunk" I missed would leave a slightly unpleasant taste in my next batch of coffee. However, this ceramic pour over dripper is super easy to clean and the taste has been great so far! I also like that the filter isn't bleached. No complaints... yet!

Better coffee and freed-up counter space!

This little baby makes hot, delicious coffee and will enable me to kick the stupid, expensive Keurig habit (once I've used all the pods to have on hand). I also enjoy the zen of the process of making one cup at a time. I heat water in my trusty electric kettle, then pour over fresh grounds. Viola!! This coffee truly tastes better and I'm glad to be freeing up counter space in my tiny NYC apartment. Wish I'd purchased this a long time ago.

Glass Means No Chemicals

I love this Melitta because it's porcelain. The idea of day in and day out pouring HOT water over plastic, and then drinking the residue... well that can't be good. This coffee cone, in contrast, is made of durable porcelain. So no chemicals. Coffee tastes great and unlike the "pod" system it's easy on the environment, as EVERYTHING is biodegradable.

Very nice pour over dripper

A couple years ago I bought a ceramic pour over dripper from Starbucks. It's served me well but I was pretty much stuck using the narrow mouthed coffee cup also from Starbucks. I recently discovered a hairline crack on the side of the dripper and went to Amazon for a replacement. I opted for a Simply Charmed Ceramic Dripper because it appeared to be very sturdy, had a handle on the side and it's wide base allowed me to use some of my other coffee cups. I just finished making a cup of coffee with this Simply Charmed Dripper and couldn't be more pleased. Solid, nice looking with a base wide enough to use on wide mouthed coffee cups.

it makes regular straight forward smooth coffee.

Me and my wife started researching our favorite coffee at home. We started from Macchinetta for 2 cups of espresso. We like it but little too strong to have it straight black. so always put some milk.. but I like straight blank. so we next tried steel filter, it was also good, oil from coffee float on top and very tick but not as strong as espresso (of course) but it leaves some unpreasant taste after having coffe on my tongue, we tried many times bout couldn't eliminate it.. so then finally we tried this dripper and filter.. this is quite nice. smooth straight forward taste and flavor then no bitterness or unpreasant flavor remain on my tongue. Wet the filter with hot water before putting coffee powder in it to rinse filter to remove paper flavor. Throw that water used to rinse the filter then make fresh coffee and enjoy it!

Very nice Brewer

Tired of my Keurig coffee maker failing (went through 2 of them in less than 4 years and looked for something else. Found this brewer and love it. It does take a little more effort to brew my coffee but well worth it. Easy to clean up. Wonderful cup of coffee.
