This actually works and is well made

I've bought some other allegedly MFi certified lightning cables from other companies, only to have them work for a week and then fail or not even work consistently from the very beginning. I've also tried calling their support lines and been essentially told they didn't back up their guarantees. But Anker has consistently delivered quality, truly MFi certified lightning cables that work for a long time. I've bought several of their Powerline cables, and they've all been great - 3' and 6'. They are a little thicker than the Apple cables, but I haven't had one break or tear yet. They are also still quite flexible - they just have a little more padding to them, which I think contributes to their longevity over even the Apple cables. These will probably be the only brand I will buy iPhone/iPad cables from going forward. I've owned several of this company's portable batteries as well, and they have been really great too.

Review Update!!!! Replacement is great. Poorly made 6ft lighting cable

Review update: Shortly after this review Anker reached out to me and provided me with not just one but two replacement cables for the defective ones. The cables sent are the newer version of this. I’ve had them for a few weeks now and can say they are significantly better. The cable is noticeable thicker in your hands and both the usb and lightning side of the cable seem to be reinforced from within as it doesn’t even bend. Works great and is very durable. Ankers customer service was also some of the best I’ve seen of any company especially given how big they are. They reached out immediately and were very easy to work with. All in all both the replacement product and the customer service are 5 stars. Not really sure what happened in regards to the lightning cable. I bought two of the 6ft cables to leave permanently fixed to charging docks at different works stations in my home. One cable wouldn’t charge after a month and the second one just came apart on me. The frustrating thing is that neither cable was bent or carried in a bag or rolled etc etc. the ends of the cable are flimsy and as you can see above falling apart. The 3ft cables last a lot longer than 2 months but are just too short. Tried getting in touch with anker for a replacement since it no where near lasted what the description states and had no luck. Buyer beware as it seem that the longer the table the more poorly it’s made.

High quality and sturdier than the OEM’s.

I purchased this cord to replace a ln abused OEM cable of the same length. So far the cable seems sturdy and has stood up against the abuse its put through. Bending doesn’t effect it as much as the same bend effects the OEM version. This is great for bedside use or any situation where you tend to bend the cable during charging.

Got the cable can tell it was used , but then....

When i order new I don’t expect to get used products UPDATE: I changed my review from 1star to 5 star... becase of the customer service at anker ... they saw my review and contacted me... and as you can tell by my change in review they were very helpful and a pleasure to talk with ... thank you anker customer service for making things right ...i will continue to be a customer

Stopped working but they replaced with a new one

It worked great for a while. Now it doesn’t work at all. I absolutely love the quality of it. But it’s been 2 months now and it’s stopped working. Would love a refund or a replacement. UPDATE: Anker has reached out to me and replaced with a new one. They even reached out after I received it to make sure it was working. I appreciate your customer service. Thank you.

Dead and Gone - Back to Life!

Highly rated so I'm a bit miffed that mine is dead after 1 month! Edit - 7-28-16 This went from a 1 star to a 5 star both for the product and even more for the company. When I posted my review, Anker quickly contacted me and quickly had a replacement sent to me in just a few days. This one works perfectly. They are very concerned about their repulation and customer and went out of their way to make this a 5 star review. Bravo!

Get Charged Up with Anker!

I was tired of cheap iPhone replacement power cords and chargers. Maybe they work, maybe they don't? Based on the excellent Amazon reviews I purchased an Anker brand wall charger and cord. The quality is outstanding. (Heavy duty, well made.) I've been using them for months without fail. I also purchased several Anker car chargers for all of my family which work great also; they have two charging ports. When I needed to replace yet another Apple cord, I also ordered an Anker charger and cable for my IT Manager who pointed out to me that the Anker charger was 24W versus the usual 12W for the iPad or 5W for the iPhone. That apparently explains why Anker products charge faster than the original Apple OEM supplied versions. I've always thought the Apple cords were kind of thin/cheap and Anker has definitely built a better product. Thank you!

I only use Anker cables for my devices now.

I was so tired of buying so many low quality cables that would break after months and to keep investing in something as simple as the ability to charge my phone after Apple has the audacity to include such a terrible cable with their own devices and how all other manufacturers (even MFI) have such low quality cables. I'm proud to recommend this brand to all my family and friends for a long-lasting, good quality, honest cable. Although it is a bit more expensive than other cables, its worth every penny. I took this 6ft one on the go with me to University everyday for my first semester and I commute to the city, so I can tell you, its been through some stuff and it still worked. Just a week ago the cable started acting up on me a bit, so I contacted Anker about the warranty on their products (18 months from date of purchase), and they just shipped me out a new one no cost, no questions asked. Serial number is right on the cable, so no need to keep boxes or manuals. I also keep a 10ft one at home in my room that I never move and that one is still going strong after a year and even a bit of gold scraping off a pin (my fault). Stellar products and stellar customer service. TLDR; if this isn't your main cable, it should be. I don't give reviews for many products, but this is one of the few companies I will always recommend to people. Honest brand, honest products, awesome customer service and warranty, and built to last.

Never disappointed with Anker! UPDATE: Until now...

This is a solid charging cable. It looks and feels durable and I don’t expect any issues. I’ve never had an issue with any Anker product. If you want a 6’ cable that will last... get this one. Update: I originally gave this 5 stars.. Product stopped working for no apparent reason. Had about 5 months and it worked great. Noticed it didn’t charge my phone overnight. Figured I need to clean out the charging port again on my IPhone. Tried that and still wasn’t working. Tried a different cord and it started charging no problem. Checked the cord on my car charger... nope... checked cord on a different wall plug.. nope. Not sure what the heck happened. I’m thinking I got a defective one since I’ve never had an issue before. Maybe I’ll try the newer model. Frustrating tho. Bought this one to avoid problems like this.

Military Grade Cable

The plugs and cable diameter are slightly larger than stock Apple charging cable but GREAT QUALITY and durability. I'm a controls engineer and we use Robotic grade wire in energy chains for 100 million bend cycles in robots. Those cables have 30-60 strands of wire in a wire to give repeated flex. This cable is made with "the good stuff" and many strands to give that durability along with great covering. Should outlast 10 of the cheap cables, one of which messed up my phone!
