Great remote controller, budget price
I bought this to replace my 3-yr-old Skydrop controller that became an expensive manual controller after they wanted to start charging a monthly fee. I don't use any type of automatic watering feature (even though this unit is capable of that), I just wanted a controller that I could easily run from the app. This was very easy to install and since running it for about a month now I have had zero problems. It has stayed connected to my WiFi (a frequent issue with my Skydrop was that it constantly disconnected from the app) and is easy to program once you read the instructions. I have three basic schemes programmed (long, med, short watering duration) and I just open the app and tap on one of those programs and that's it. Also easy to run a quick manual-timed setting for any zone. Glad I didn't go with a much more expensive unit with features that I probably wouldn't use. Very happy so far.

Much better than the competition
So a few months ago I bought a different smart timer. After installing I spent 2 months working with their support team and it never worked. I just installed this device in about 10 minutes. It was quick and easy. I'm very happy with it

Works perfectly
Was looking for a smart irrigation system, found this one and cant beat the price! , installation was super easy and the app is easy to set up as well, I have been testing the system and it has been working flawlessly, great product for the price.

Simple setup, app works well.
I modified my old external housing for a RainBird™ 12-zone controller, so it took longer than ten minutes to set up because of that. Once I got everything ready, though, it was extremely simple to put all the wires in their appropriate places, cinch 'em all down, and screw the controller to the housing. That was it. Downloading the app was also easy, and it connected to my WiFi router without issue. I have the 8-zone model which operates six valves. I went with this model because it's 75 bucks, and my research about the fancy NEST-like controllers told me that spending two to three times that much really wouldn't improve my life in any appreciable way. I'll never know, because I'm really happy with this little Orbit B-Hyve. So far I have created a couple of programs and they have worked perfectly. We even had a day of rain and the app automatically put my programs on hold. I love being able to control it all from my phone. So far so good. No complaints.

No regrets!
Great product! I enjoy how simple the physical installation is. Pros: - can connect via bluetooth or wifi utilizing the app - product looks simple and clean after installation - smart watering will automatically place system on rain delay based on weather conditions via internet - can take pictures of different zones for reference - works with Alexa through learned skills - the app and setting up an account is completely free Cons - smart watering set up for each zone is a bit lengthy and some characteristics regarding soil type, sprinkler type, amount of sprinklers, and slope would be nice if they copied over from zone to new zone. This isn't a big deal because you only have to do this once. - for physical control, (i.e. manual watering, shutting off unit) one button does it all depending on how long and how many times the button is pressed. Remembering those manual button pushes aren't easily memorized so keeping the manual close is a must if you want to use it. All in all, if I had the choice to buy it again, I wouldn't hesitate to click the "buy now" button and get it coming this way.

B-Hyve Sprinkler Controller - Working Great
I was a little hesitant to install a controller that has no front panel and which therefore inhibits the user's ability to control or program it right at the unit's location, as I'd been accustomed to with earlier controllers. However, this concern has completely evaporated, since the iPhone app provides much more convenience and flexibility than I have ever had before with a sprinkler controller, and I can manage it from anywhere there's an Internet connection. Create and edit programs, initiate immediate manual watering sessions, override a programmed session, review watering history. It even monitors the weather forecast and current conditions via the Internet and defers a programmed start time if there's significant rain. Pretty darn cool. Unit has been perfectly reliable so far (5 weeks in). Wi-Fi connectivity has been solid.

Easy upgrade from my old system.
It has been fantastic having the ability to start and stop my sprinkler zones from my phone while I test and adjust all my sprinkler heads. At first I didn’t really like that the main unit didn’t have a screen like the more expensive models, but having this for a few months now I realize I don’t need it, it’s all on the phone. The main unit does have a single button to start up your sprinklers if needed. Installation was easy, I have a 3 zone system. App set up was easy. And I got this half off withthe rebate offered in Utah. Awesome upgrade!

Fast install. Easy to use app. Works perfectly.
This went from in the box to installed, programmed, and tested in 15 minutes. I don't mean that it was quick. I mean 15 actual minutes. I was a little hesitant about buying this after so many people said the app isn't intuitive. Turns out those people probably call their grandchild 5 times a day asking them how to connect to them internets.

IRIS BY LOWES abandoned you? This is your best bet.
Was a good replacement for the IRIS abandoned orbit controller which literally became trash except for the shell. It was waterproof and easily accepted this indoor device. Is you are an abandoned IROS customer this is the way to go. I gave it a three because there should be better transition support from orbit since there is none from Lowes IMHO.
