• DOUBLE THE OUTLETS – Control 2 devices from anywhere at the same time or individually with one smart plug. Ideal for controlling lamps in your bedroom, kitchen appliances, or even an iron in your laundry room
  • CONTROL FROM ANYWHERE – Power your dual outlet smart plug on or off, set schedules or scenes from anywhere with your smartphone using the Kasa Smart app. Remotely turn a fan on for your pets while you’re out running errands or at the office
  • VOICE CONTROL - Use simple voice commands with your smart plug and any Alexa, Google Assistant or Microsoft Cortana. You can even give each outlet a unique name and use them separately. Turn a lamp off and ask your voice assistant to turn on a fan
  • KASA SCENES & SCHEDULES - Schedule the Smart Plug to automatically switch on and off when away or set a Scene for controlling many devices with a single button
  • NOTE: Requires a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network connection

Exactly what I needed. I wanted one outlet to hook my laptop’s docking station to and the other to leave open for whatever else I decided. The app works great! Very happy with this item and the other Kasa products I’ve purchased

Took me two minutes to set it up, now I can tell it to turn off the light in the corner that glares on my tv and also turn on the electric log in the fireplace for that ambient glow... Handy gadget, and with the sideways facing plugs also doesn't block as much outlet space as the single plug on the front models do.

Not surprising that there is continuous improvement going on in the world of cloud-based smart home products but as someone who has a variety of TP-Link devices I can say, by comparison, this was the easiest and fastest smart home device to integrate. It took less than 5 minutes to join the home network, name the plugs (and they do work independently of one another) and start using all the scheduling features, etc. that are in the TP-Link app. And immediately after naming the plugs I was able to voice-control the switch via Amazon Alexa. As the image illustrates, the physical dimensions of this plug allow you to connect a similar smart plug device and fully utilize the other wall outlet. If you are just getting started in smart home upgrades I would recommend starting here. (I did not receive free product or payment for an endorsement)

I have several different brands of smart plugs. Kasa while not the least expensive are the best of the bunch!!! I have found them to reliably stay connected. Works great with their phone app or with Alexa. Easy to program on and off when away from home, easy to manually turn on and off from the illuminated button on the plug. I like this item for lamp pairs. With Alexa I can make a group for the two lights so I can turn them on with a single command or use the individual names to turn them on independent of each other.

I have several single versions of these, and since each company has their own application to control them, wanted to stick to only one brand. As with the others, setup was easy and quick, so I was up and running in minutes. Only complaint, is that it's not readily apparent which outlet is which (like if they had an embossed "1" and "2" or "A" and "B". Easily rectified with a magic marker, but would still like to see that.

The orientation of the outlets is perfect for using this to control two IKEA lamps with those odd Swedish plugs, you know the type. In several months there has not been an interruption of service from the device. The app is tidy, although not as tidy as Eufy, but way more tidy than Amazon's own app.

I have bought several different smart outlets to try throughout our house and I really like this one: Pros: Two, independently controlled outlets. Only uses one of the wall outlets. Has a mechanical override. Very reliable (so far anyway). Works with Alexa. Cons: Very large though not uncommon with this type of outlet. A little more expensive than other outlets though you get two outlets as opposed to one. I really like this outlet and prefer it over the others I have tried. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

This is an upgrade to the previous model. It is fantastic as it allows you the capability to use the other electrical outlet. I love that I can turn and turn off the lights from one-room to another, or if I am away and want to turn the lights on, it works perfectly. I love this product and would recommend.

I use in my bathroom to control 2 AirWicks on a schedule so I can have different a fragrance depending on the time of day. I have one set to turn on an hour before I normally wake up for my morning shower and turns off when I normally leave to go to work (no sense having oil warmers on when no one is home to smell them) and the second on to turn on an hour before I normally come home and have my evening shower. It then turns off around 11pm (no sense having an oil warmer on while your sleeping)

I originally bought this smart plug because of the position of the outlet. I have a plug behind a piece of furniture that I want to push as close to the wall as possible. The single smart plug has the outlet on the front, meaning a cord would stick out the front and the piece of furniture would protrude even further. (New product idea?) But this plug is now the main plug I have put in many of my rooms to control lamps. The two outlets can be grouped together or work individually. The set up was easy and the response to commands is fast. I was using the old-fashioned push-pin timers on my lamps and they were great. It was hard to sell me to switch to smart plugs. But the main thing was being able to go "off-schedule" easily. If I want a lamp on/off outside of its programmed schedule, it is easy! I can use my phone or Google/Alexa to change it.
