Nice thick pad. Had a lot of wrinkles right out of the package but I threw it in the dryer with a damp towel for about 15 minutes and most of the wrinkles were gone. I actually ordered two more for other tables I own.

Put to the Test and Results Determine that We'd Buy Again

Family gathering just this past week and no one was aware that a little one had spilled and left a drink on Grandmother's new 12-foot custom and very expensive table. I found the spilled drink myself and immediately lifted the table cloth covering this pad and wiped it dry. I then fearfully lifted the pad to see if the drink leaked through to the table only to find the wood finish was dry. I know there are a lot more expensive pads out there but I call this a great bang for the buck since it did the job. Everyone had migrated from the dining area and we had no idea how long the spilled drink remained on the table. Grandmother was very happy and thankful for the pad, thus we would purchase this again.

Love this table protector! Looks nice & keeps my table from spills, scratches etc. initially I bought the clear plastic cover & it held moisture in & started warping my table so I got this one & couldn’t be happier!!

you can trim it to fit

I love this table pad. I purchased it because my husband has a bad habit of putting items on my beautiful table without a trivet or coaster. I know he should know better, but what are you going to do! I also purchase a table cloth to go over it and together they really work well at protecting my table. You could trim it, if needed, but I just let it hang over the sides and my table cloth covers it. It doesn't slide around at all. I would definitely recommend.

Good value for quality product

This is the second pad I've purchased - the first was larger for when the table is extended. Given the quality of the product I purchased a second to use when the table is set for less people. The padding is just right and the side that touches the table is soft. Highly recommend!

Great product!

This is a heavy duty table protector. The top is plastic (waterproof) so you wouldn't want to put a hot pan on it without some type of trivet, the bottom is a felt like material, so no slipping. Put a table cloth over it and you are ready to go. I did have to cut it to size...My first table protector so I wasn't sure about what size to buy. Learned the hard way by not having one, kiddo drawing on paper with an ink pen can leave a deep scratch that looks like the kitty she drew for me on paper. It was a conversation piece for a couple of years. With this table protector..no worries about pen drawing...but have made sure none are in the box. Fast shipping. Will definitely buy another one to use when we don't have the leaf in.

worked great

I bought this pad because our table consistently gets heat spots from food. (even if you were just to sit a burrito in the wrapper directly on the table) We have tried placemats which didn't work, just made it work. I ordered this because I was going to have a large gathering at my home on Halloween. So dinner would be eaten at the table. I put this pad down with a decorative table cloth on top and honestly the next day I was nervous to even look under the pad because I was scared I would once again see heat spots. THERE WERE NO SPOTS!! It worked great and I'm so happy that I don't have to keep calling my warranty company back every week to fix my table.

nice thick pad. I did not want to get a custom pad and this is fine for my needs. Also, I got a larger size and was able to cut it to fit my table when it is small and when I add the extension, so it was a bargain compared to those pricy custom pads. Glad I found this solution - it works and it did not break the bank!

Simply perfect.

This is just what we needed. We have had custom table pads in the past. These were effective, but bulky and used a lot of storage space. When we got a new table, we decided to try this table pad. It is a nice heavy weight. The seamless construction protects our table better than the custom table pads.

Great product for the price

Concerning the folds many reviewers seem to complain about. They are not permanent! Iron on the felt side with appropriate heat iron using STEAM until the creases disappear. Try to keep the product flat while it is drying from the steam. Once dry, ROLL onto a cardboard tube and store. I used a tube from the fabric store when I bought home decor fabric. Since the product has a vinyl fluid proof side, this cover does not need to be laundered with every use. Just wipe it down, let it dry and roll it up. Its not rocket science.
