Great for me! Might be small for others.

My sister is 16 and about to start her journey into adulthood. She is very smart and has never done anything wrong in her life. I got this because I am known as the black sheep of the family. I am the what not to do example. So this couldnt have been any more perfect coming from me. She can hide the words and know that her sister is really there for her. I will say the bangle is small. I am a 5'10 135 lb. Girl and it fits but I would say if you dont have small wrists...buy with caution.

Lovely (perfect for my sister; story below)

My sister is going through chemo for at least the 6th time (I can't even remember anymore), and sometimes she needs just a small reminder that someone is thinking of her and she can make it through, again. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 23, it recurred just before her 25th birthday, and she had a double-mastectomy due to it moving to her lymph nodes this time. Lymph nodes removed, boobs removed & reconstructed. She was considered cancer-free for at least a year after this surgery. She then got engaged and had a beautiful wedding, and thought she was past that nightmare. Then, right before her 28th birthday, the cancer returned in her liver, multiple lymph nodes, her chest cavity, one of her lungs, and in her tailbone. What did she do? She's 30 now, and she made a freaking feature film about her experience. It's a fictionalized autobiography called Ginger (aka Ginger the Movie), and has already won multiple film festivals in LA, Chicago, and internationally. My sister was even featured on WGN a few months ago to talk about the movie and her experience as a very young woman with metastatic breast cancer. Look it up; she's real, her story is real, and even with all her accolades and publicity she's receieved for her film, all the other reminders that she is amazing and has done unbelievable things, she received this gift and loved it. My sister is human, after all. Sometimes, even amidst her public struggle yielding mountains of support, she forgets that she's amazing, despite her cancer, and that she is much, much more than her cancer. Sometimes she wants to give up (I'm sure I would), and needs a push to just keep f*ing going. This bracelet was perfect for her, and even though it was one of her smaller gifts, she absolutely loved it. Little reminders in a big world can go a long way to help someone get through even the darkest times. Give this to someone in your life who needs that push. They don't have to have stage 4 cancer at age 30 like my sister, but everyone has their own struggles, and nobody can get through life without a reminder that they can move out of whatever they're going through, they just need to keep f*ing going.

I bought the 2 pack awhile back, one for my mom and one for me... we love them! Last month the Camp Fire tore through our hometown and destroyed our family home. Today as we dug through the rubble, my mom found this.... her bracelet survived !! Very nice! Not cheaply made!

I bought the set of 3 of these. One of my best friends is fighting a tough battle with Parkinson's Disease and I bought one of these for her for Christmas, and another of my best friends is battling seasonal depression (recent divorce, Christmas time, all her family live in another state). Anyway, these were perfect for both of them, and then the other for me, because let's face it, we all need that extra strength sometimes. Anyway, these are very good quality. They are heavier than I expected them to be. Not cheap. And, the inscription is done very well. And, the price was perfect! I bought the 3-pack set for $36.00! Great gift! I can't wait to give it next week!

Extremely well received

I selected this bracelet for a dear friend going through a rough time and she was beyond delighted. It's subtle message is tucked nicely inside for private inspiration. It has a lovely shine to the finish and has a very nice modern look. It certainly looks far more expensive than it actually cost. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
