Great value for the money spent

It is a beautifully crafted and weighted piece of equipment. I was able to break down my turkey in a fraction of the time that I normally take and the blade is still as sharp.

This is a very good quality knife. Very sharp and nice shaping handle. Ability to use it to scoup up the stuff it cuts is great.

just be careful and make a cardboard sheath for this if you keep it in a drawer because this sucker is the sharpest thing in my house.

Makes dicing veggies very easy

I love cooking but chopping vegetables is extremely hard for me because I am a stroke survivor whose left hand doesn't work as well as pre-stroke. This knife helps make it easy to dice onions, garlic, celery and carrots. My friends and family look forward to my cooking and even love the leftovers. Wow!

A solid cleaver!

I really like that the handle is also metal. I was really surprised how sharp the blade is. I use it to cut raw squash and this cleaver makes it such an easy task.

Yikes, it is sharp!

I don't need to use a meat cleaver very often, but when I do this one's a charm. Handled with respect to its sharp edge this cleaver makes short work of cutting meat apart or into small pieces. Nicely weighted. Only unfortunate bit is that it did not come with a sheath. I cut down the plastic packaging in which it came and added some duct tape to create my own sheath. Not beautiful, but functions fine since I keep the cleaver tucked safely in a drawer.
