So far so good
My daughter is 3 and seems to get out of the back door no matter what kind of locks or knobs we get. This was my last option before having to install another lock at the top of the door. I have to say it's working great. I will update if she ends up figuring out how to open it.

Best childproof/dogproof lever-handle lock, great durability & price!
My son installed this in minutes to prevent our smart fox-hounds from getting into the pantry (lever-door handle). It worked better than I could have imagined, and is a snap to unlock and lock (you can do this with either the top and bottom together or individually for quick opening/locking. I picked these up on a whim and thought maybe they will work for keeping those dogs from eating my snacks- the one loves cheese curls as much as I do! I was pleasantly surprised when they worked and they were very durable (the dogs jumped onto the top and tried to pull down as before, but the lock prevented this and held up to the 65++ pounds coming down with a force of a hangry adult human. Like I said, my son installed these in minutes which was another added ++.

Keeps the kiddo contained, independent locking mechanism very convenient
We use one of these on the toddler's bedroom door to prevent nighttime and naptime escapes. We put it on the outside of the door so we can operate it once he's (allegedly) down for his nap. Right now, he can only open the door by pulling the handle down, so having the ability to keep the upward motion available for ourselves is pretty handy (for not inadvertently locking ourselves in his room, for example). This was the main factor leading us to choosing this model over a different model which locked both upward and downward turning together. We'll have to be more careful once he can turn the handle up to open the door. One could presumably put this on the inside of the door, as a toddler is unlikely to have the dexterity to unlock them, although this may preclude you from making a quiet exit, and I cannot guarantee it will stay put if your little one decides to hang off of it. They're very easy to install and hold quite well. I cannot speak to how cleanly they come off yet as we haven't had to remove one.

Finally a solution that doesn't require tools!
As a teacher, we can't remove our commercial door handle levers to use most childproof locks for lever door handles. My special education classroom has a bathroom and I have a student who has made it his personal mission in life to play in the toilet and flush anything and everything possible, so finding a way to secure the bathroom door was imperative. This worked perfectly after all other lever handle locks wouldn't work because we weren't permitted to remove the door handles. These use adhesive and are so easy to install. They are easy to use, but tricky enough to make it difficult for children to open if you don't teach them how to push and turn the latch. Other teachers have seen my lock and asked for an Amazon link to purchase one for their classroom - they are a huge hit!

So far so good!
I received these today and immediately installed them. Quick to install and simple to use. I’ll give my toddler a little time to test the sticking power but am planning to buy several more!

Fantastic for French doors that open out!
These locks are great for French doors that open out! We have Anlin doors and you have to lift the handle up to latch the, but down to open so we needed both the top and bottom to move as these do! The other ones we bought previously only moved on one side which wouldn’t work for us. Our doors aren’t wood either, so drilling into them wouldn’t have worked either, which many other locks require. So excited! They have been installed, the sticky in the back is strong, l and we now have full access to our doors without worrying about our toddlers being able to get out unexpectedly!

Excellent Product - get if you have lever doors!!!!
This product was a life saver! We have a very active toddler who requires a lot of baby proofing - this was for a front door he would open and then run out in the yard/street and try to go to neighbor's houses. We tried three other products and nothing worked for longer than a week. We have bought A LOT of baby proofing products - door handle covers, oven button covers, sliding glass door locks, magnet cabinet locks, freezer locks, the list is endless....so I consider myself 'experienced' in this department. If you have a front door with a level handle this product is for you!

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for!
Hello! Mama to a very curious 16 month old here. We are a military family and drilling into doors is not an option as we always have rentals. I needed something quick to secure more than half the doors in our house and these locks have definitely met our needs. They seriously take two seconds to "install" once you are sure your door lever will have enough clearance to move freely when the device is in the unlock position. What I really like is that I currently can have the top latch unlocked because my son has only figured out how to pull down (see picture). We are currently lifting rather than pulling all levers to open doors, which saves us a few seconds at each door. It all adds up, ya know?! Of course once he figures how to push up on levers, we will have to keep both latches in the locked position. I highly recommend these to anyone and everyone with a need to baby proof the home.

It's worth a try!!
I know this has gotten some bad reviews for kids being able to figure it out too easily. However I decided to give it a try anyways and so glad I did! My son is almost 4 and delayed so mentally he's more like 2. He is obsessed with the bathtub which has a handle instead of the knobs. We just couldn't keep him out of the bathroom he'd manage to slip in somehow (usually someone not closing the door all the way). I got this and put it under the handle and he hasn't been able to turn it on since. And he is very good at getting around things! It is only attached with the adhesive strip so I wasn't sure it would stay on just from the steam during showers. But it has been there for 3 weeks and holding strong.

It is easy to install and r=works well with CATS !!
I had a different kind of sticker door-keeper-Olosed and then I moved. I needed to get another one. I tried to find it, but I could not. So I found this one, which looked a little goofy on the web page, But it works great. Here is what I did to install: I installed the DOOR LEVER LOCK on the first door with the handle. I put the two prongs on the door, one on either side of the handle. Then I pressed the button that lies at the base of the prong on on the top of the two NEW prings. I then pushed the top prong'g tip to the leg, and let it NOT cover the door handle. This was the way I could keep the cats inside and outside of a room. My big orange boy cat, is tall though to pull down the door handled but not anymore with this new door locker. Viola!!! My two cats are able to love the cat room, etc., and not go into the bathroom. I may have to get two more, because I love these services and what I am doing with them !!!
