Fantastic Microscope With Great Features!

The ESSLNB Biological Microscope with Vertical Trinocular Port is suitable for anyone wanting to explore the microscopic world. It is a sturdy piece of equipment that would be easy enough to use for young students interested in Science as it doesn't require reading a manual to operate it. It's also perfect for high school and college students who want to use a real microscope outside of the classroom. It comes with a built-in blue filter that is an added bonus for increasing the resolution of objects that are lighter in color or even clear. This filter swings outward when not in use or can be positioned in variable degrees so one can control how much of the blue filter is applied to an object. I highly recommend spending the extra money to get the model with the vertical trinocular port as this allows one to use the cell phone camera and still be able to look into the eye pieces at the same time. I have found it quite helpful to be able to view the objects on my cell phone where I can zoom my view for a better close-up and then capture photos when I want to keep a photo file of my objects. The double layer mechanical stage firmly holds the slide while providing a smoothly sliding back & forth and side to side movements for scanning the object while one's eyes are looking into the eye pieces. My microscope arrived without the instruction manual and with a shattered blue filter. When I contacted Amazon they put me in touch with the seller who was a joy to deal with. They promptly contacted me and quickly shipped these items to me. It gave me a good feeling to know that I had purchased my microscope from a company who truly cared that I was fully equipped to get maximum benefit out of their product. I really enjoy using all the great features on this microscope and know that you will, too!

Great home microscope at a good price

I liked the top and bottom light and the stage can be adjusted to achieve a good focus. It’s nice that both battery operation as well as a plug in adapter was provided. The cell phone holder allowed for taking photos.

Ideal für Einsteiger

Habe das Mikroskop seit ca. einer Woche testen können und muss sagen, dass ich durchaus zufrieden bin. Für den Preis bekommt man ein wirklich gutes Produkt, was meiner Meinung nach perfekt als Geschenk für Kinder oder Anfänger ist. Die drei Objektive bieten unterschiedliche Vergrößerungen und hervorragende Qualität. Außerdem sind noch zwei Okulare dabei die sich oben austauschen lassen. Die Bedienung ist eigentlich selbsterklärend aber zur Sicherheit sollte man vielleicht doch die bebilderte Anleitung verwenden. Zum Anpassen der Helligkeit befinden sich zwei Drehknöpfe an den Seiten von denen einer die Durchlichtlampe und der andere die Oberbeleuchtung verändert. Die zwei möglichen Beleuchtungsarten lassen sich an der Hinterseite des Mikroskops verstellen. Die Stromzufuhr erfolgt entweder durch das mitgelieferte Kabel oder mit Batterien, wobei ich bis jetzt nur das Kabel gebraucht habe. Der Stecker ist, glaube ich, eigentlich ein UK Stecker der der Adapter für die normalen deutschen Steckdosen ist natürlich auch mit dabei. Mit den drei Verschiedenen Vergrößerungen lassen sich sogar einzelne Zellen erkennen. Mit dabei sind ein paar Beispiele wie das Bein einer Fliege oder die Membran einer Zwiebel. Auch fünf Gläser für andere Proben sind dabei um selbst genommene Proben zu untersuchen. Die Einstellung der Schärfe erfolgt mit den zwei Drehern an den Seiten, die sehr präzise arbeiten. Für mehr Kontrast befindet sich eine Drehscheibe mit fünf verschiedenen Farben zwischen der unteren Lampe und dem Glas. Der Handy-„Adapter“ ist eher eine Haltevorrichtung. Es ist zwar nicht schlecht ein Handy so auf dem Mikroskop zu befestigen aber es sind halt keine Saugnäpfe die das Handy in Position halten sollen was je nach Oberfläche der Rückseite des Telefons oder dessen Hülle mehr oder weniger gut funktioniert. Aber wenn es hält ist es eine schöne Möglichkeit Fotos oder Videos zu machen. Insgesamt gesehen ist es eine wirklich gut verarbeitetes und stabiles Produkt, was sicher lange Zeit Spaß bereiten kann. Daher kann ich es nur Empfehlen wenn man auf der Suche nach einem nicht allzu teuren Mikroskop ist.
