The great things about the Google Wifi mesh network system are ease of use and great coverage/speed for your wifi. The downside is that you end up with those access point pucks scattered through the house. Sometimes you just want to free up some table space or get those pucks out of the way. This does that. Easily. It only takes a couple minutes per puck (as others said, make sure you have the wifi point added to your network and functional BEFORE putting it in the holder). The whole thing hangs from the outlet without a problem- if you have old/worn outlets that don't hold plugs well, they may not work well for you (but if that's what you're dealing with, you need new outlets installed anyway). This lets you place these units along walls that may not have available table or counter space. They're well thought out and designed- pretty ingenious in their simplicity. Definitely worthwhile if you're trying to get your Google Wifi pucks off tables and out of the way.

I've used everything from the Unify mesh system to the big fancy Nighthawks and nothing I've ever deployed went up as easy and performed as well as this. Google got it right with this one. The app makes it stupid simple to manage and runs tests, reports, etc... It heals itself too. If something goes wrong it resets itself and notifies you. I'm running on Cox for high speed Internet with a 300mbps package. I consistently get around 240mbps on Wifi in every inch of my 2700sqft "L shaped" house and garage. On 2 of the nodes I'm directly attaching via ethernet cable and then I'm getting 270mbps. I'd say the loss from the original 300mbps is mostly IP overhead. So far I'm thrilled at the performance. The only thing that isn't 5 star is the price. This is expensive as these things go... but in my case it was well worth it.

This is an absolute life saver of a product. I don't have much shelf space in my home, and nothing I would want to dedicate to three wifi access points long term. Before making the purchase, I was worried that as third party products, the wall mounts might not fit the wifi points well, or that the weight of the points might cause the frame to sag and pull everything out of the wall. This is not the case: both the plug holder and the circular access point mount fit like a dream: tight and sturdy but not at all hard to install. The frame is strong enough that the weight of the access point doesn't pull the entire thing out of the wall, and the point can even stay attached with a small bump such as an overly excited dog's tail wagging. The cord organizer is a dream to use: each of the three circles is deep enough to hold two loops of cord, which allows you to pack the entire cord away, or leave as much loose as you prefer. All in all, I highly recommend this wall mount system. It's splendid.

This simple and affordable mount for Google wifi gets each wifi point off the counter and off the floor, eliminating the excess power cord through its very effective cord wind feature. Be aware, there is a small gap between the wifi unit and the wall beneath the electric outlet plate, allowing the unit to be easily knocked out of its outlet. I countered this problem by sticking a thick felt furniture pad to the back of the unit, allowing it to rest securely against the wall and solving the instability issue. (The manufacturer should include a pad at no cost to effect this fix).

This is a outstanding mount for your Google Router. The power brick fits tightly in the mount and all of the cord stows in the bottom of the mount. I used it to mount the router outside under my roof eave. I drilled one hole bottom part of the mount and used a wood screw. The power brick holds the other side into the electrical socket. This mount is much better than the other one that is sold by amazon if mounted in a different orientation because it clips into the light ring on the router. In short, this mount is 100% awesome!

I wanted my google wifi points to be unobtrusive and not take up my limited flat space (desktops, etc.). The wifi wall mount fit the bill. Excellent instructions with pictures. Follow-up from the firm to make sure I was happy. Product works great. Instructions (pics and text) were clear on how to loop the power wire in the device. Device has plenty of space for the wires and is designed to accommodate the 'second row' easily. Took all of about 5 minutes on the first one and 3 on the second to install. Hint - make sure you have the plug all the way in the plug holder before you plug it in. Mine had slid out a little and the device fell out of the wall plug the first time. Rectified the user error and it stays in fine. If I was going to do anything to improve these, I'd add some flanges on the outer rim at about 4 and 8 pm to act as anti levers for the lever effect the wifi device has on the plug. That being said, they are staying in the wall plugs fine. Excellent product and great customer focus.

Very easy to install, simple to use, no more cable mess. Installation: I found it easiest to first attach the power (that goes to wall outlet) into the plastic holder, then wrap the cable around in the back. This way, you can adjust how much of the cable you will have showing. When you wrap the cable around the back, there are 3 rings. Use the outer ring first, then work your way in. You can potentially wrap around each ring 3 times by pressing the cables in (image shows cables going around twice). Cons: Just know that only the power cable is able to be wrapped around through the back. If you have the original Ethernet cable, then you may be able to work something where it has clean cable management, but if you have the regular Ethernet cable (yellow cable in pictures), you have to find another way to organize the Ethernet cable. If you have a regular outlet (2 plug), then it will not be flush to the wall (see image). My outlet is standard size.

Easy to install, great customer service, beautiful product. AmorTek makes quality products and their customer service is exceptional. You have to use a little bit of extra force to get the plug into the mount, but the mount is designed that way to support the weight of the Google WiFi. I promise it will fit. I have three of the mounts.

So I ordered this accessory with the Google Wifi and it's a perfect match. What I didn't realize is that there are channels in back into which you wrap the electrical cord so that it doesn't droop all over everything. I wrapped the cord in the channels and plugged it all into the wall and Google Wifi has been churning away ever since with no problems. I'm really glad I bought this particular accessory.

I bought these because I wanted to be able to put some of the access points on the wall, behind things, most notably a guest room bed. This allows for the access point to be plugged in and under a bed, which puts it out of sight and out of mind for visitors, but still allows for expanded WiFi coverage in the house. Plus, to me, it keeps the room looking cleaner and more attractive, too. And since it is out of sight under the bed, visitors are less likely to touch it and play with it (kids will be kids). Installation was not too difficult, but I do recommend having a blunt object handy to push the power cord into the back of the mount (I used a pencil that was sharpened, but the lead tip was gone). A Philips screwdriver or bobby pin would probably work, too - just don't push too hard to cut the wire. Having something like that handy (blunt object) will allow you to push the power cord all the way down into the groove on the back as you work it all the around the circular pattern of the mount. If you have fingernails that haven't been recently trimmed, they would probably work, too. Anyway, it took me about 20 minutes to get 4 access points fitted with the new mounts (combined, not each), and I was taking my time. Then I went about mounting the new access spots in various spots around the house and had no trouble hanging the new mounts in place. In fact, I probably had more trouble getting the new Access Points recognized by the Google WiFi App than I did mounting them in their new homes. I now have 7 Google WiFi access points in my house 'cause I went overboard and the price of 4 new access points at a competing warehouse store was too good to pass up. I just didn't want all of the access points to be visible, which is what makes these mounts so useful to have. On the note of the Google WiFi App: I plugged the new access points in, went to the app and added the new access point in there. The process required me to then unplug the access point to scan the Code on the back to get the App to recognize the new access point and then plug it back in a second time. Not a big deal, but just be prepared for it when adding each new access point to your mesh network. With that being said, I like these new mounts A LOT and am quite happy with my purchase. Definitely worth the price I paid for them, in my opinion. They did not feel cheap or flimsy and worked exactly as expected. I definitely recommend this product and gave it 5/5 stars overall.
