Pros: I just received this camera yesterday--quick delivery. The camera and the phone app (I use android) were very straightforward. I had the app downloaded and the camera connected to my wi-fi and operating in scant minutes. Moved the camera to its outside location, plugged it in, again no problem at all. That part was great. I found that I needed to go into the settings and decrease the motion sensitivity to the second to lowest setting to make it work properly lest the camera alert on every bird in the area. It still alerts quite a bit, but most important it alerts when it should. I think for the money those things alone make it a good purchase. Cons: I did feel as though I was bumbling around trying to find how to do things because instructions after connecting the camera to wi-fi were lacking. Also lacking are instructions for accessing the camera via web browser. I did finally find Ezviz Studio on the Ezviz Home Page. It allows me to access live feed. It is supposed to save events but when I click on gallery the connection to server fails so I'm not sure. I have not found where you could sound the siren or make any adjustments in Ezviz Studio. Again I sort of stumbled onto that web app. The PC Viewer could never launch and HikVision was a useless maize as nearly as I could tell first try, but I may go for that one again and see if I get anywhere. So in summary, very good camera, sufficient phone app, poor instructions and not so great web support. I should be able to get good use out of the camera. I just want to see what is happening on the front porch and sound a siren to make someone want to leave if need be. The phone app allows me to do all that. Five getting your money's worth, four stars if you are picky.

I have 8 EZVIZ cameras and I haven't had any issues with any of them. The first couple I bought more than 2 years ago were a bit of a challenge to get set up, but they keep improving the setup procedure and this one was very straight forward. The camera is about the quality of other cameras in its price range, but seems to be more reliable than its competitors. What I really like is the EZVIZ phone app. The way it organizes multiple camera views is very nice and makes it easy to find the camera that you are looking for. I also like that they store 10 seconds of video before a motion event, so you don't miss any of the event. It would be nice if they had a feature to sort motion events; with several cameras, finding the specific camera and time frame can be time consuming. They do frequently upgrade with improvements and new features for the phone app and the camera firmware, so it may be in the works. This camera is a nice choice, especially if you already have the EZVIZ indoor cameras.

I am pretty tech savy, but I was goofy and thought the instructions meant to insert a micro SD card in my phone, but it means camera... You don't realize there is a place for one, but if you unscrew a plate underneath where it looks like a speaker. There is a place inside. The only fail with this camera is the instructions on that. Look for a small silver like casing that is shaped like the fat end of your micro card . Night vision is incredible and it picks up a wide view very clear. The app is vert easy too. The camera is for outdoors but according to the instructions, it still needs protection from the rain. I'm not a fan of having to plug it in, but I managed to route the wire outside my house so that is hidden most of the way to the plug. Just make sure that no one can unplug it without being seen. If a person comes on my porch to unplug, they are already caught on camera. Instructions were great in mentioning a compatible app that would allow me to view the camera on my Android tablet. We loved this so much that we bought another camera for the back of the house. You can run more than one camera on the app.

I recently purchased this product and was very happy with the simplicity and ease of setup. I am did not know if I could set this up. But after reading the reviews I was sold. This setup was incredibly easy. I printed the manual and The instructions were very easy to follow. The system is plug and play. I had one issue that kept popping up saying Out Of Range. After about 3 hours of checking And rechecking I discovered that the electrical outlet had a reset button. As soon as i pushed the reset button I had video. Fixed and all is well. Video is very sharp and Clear. I really do like the fact that all my recordings go to an SD card and not to a third party as some other companies. I am looking forward to the updated version of this system and hope they continue with the SD card. Overall a great system

I'm usually skeptical of things that have a solid 5 star review, but for the price k decided to try this camera. The picture quality is great, the audio is great, and it does everything it claims to do and does it well. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a smart sensor. If the wind blows the bush, moths fly by the light, or car lights go by...it detects it all as motion. It doesn't claim to recognize different types of motion, so I won't give it any less stars, but it is a minor annoyance. I did enjoy watching someone approach my door and pause briefly from the loud beep it puts out for motion. That in itself is a great deterrent.

I love this camera, I have it at the front door so I can keep an eye on things when I'm away. I like that you can hook it into Alexa, and that if the motion detector picks up strange activity it will sound an alarm and turn on the strobe light. Whenever it detects anything it sends a notification to your phone immediately. I never have to open my door when someone knocks again, it makes me feel very secure as I'm home alone a lot. It's great to have if your a female and live alone, it's a must have!

So I'll start by saying how much I love ezviz products this is the 12 camera we own in all different makes. I have only ever had one camera to fail and it was a pan and tilt model. It actually still shows a picture it just doesn't pan and tilt anymore. I've turned several of my friends on to these cameras all of which have loved them and purchased more. When u think about the times and the needs for security systems and camera systems I just can't see paying others to install cameras and security features which are some of the easiest products to install yourself. I like being able to set everything up the way I want it. These cameras are by far the easiest to install and work of any system we have ever had. The good thing is u don't have to pay for monitoring services just install sd cards and your good to go. I would never again purchase a system that relies on a dvr box to keep your footage. Simply find and take the box and it's like it never happened. They would litterally have to take the cameras to kill the footage here and I'm not sure it still wouldn't save the footage in that case. I have these cameras in 1080 and a couple in 720 the only way u can really tell a significant difference is if u need to zoom on a particular object then the 1080 blows these away. There is also a large difference in price. So I picked the important locations like the cars and the backdoor are 1080 and the basement entrance I use 720 simply because if someone tries to go in there they litterally walk right up to the camera to get by. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to anyone just know your application needs and choose best for your needs. Also they come in 4mm lens or 2.8 I believe the smaller the number the wider range of view u have so I went with the 2.8. I don't own any of the 4mm lenses so I couldn't comment on those but I'm sure they are amazing as well. I trust ezviz products very much. We have a fairly large 3 story house and there is not a single inch of my property u can be on without me knowing. In my opinion these are the best on the market. I'm looking to replace my ring doorbell with the ezviz doorbell that's how much I love and trust their products.

Very pleased with this product. The motion detection works perfectly. I had a difficult time picking a camera since most of the cameras on Amazon have low ratings or just a mix match of features such as lacking cloud storage. This one has it all. The only issue I had was getting it to connect to my Wi-Fi, and then I dug around in the settings and I found a way to connect to the device is Wi-Fi. Basically you connect to the camera and that was super easy and worked very quickly.

Good cameras but sometimes when it rains they go offline for a while. You will need a wifi booster if the cameras are further than 50 or 60ft away from the house. The camera I posted the pic from is about 100ft away mounted on a tree. Still haven't figured out how to share the live footage with my husband. He can get still images but not live view, still working on that. It is also difficult to connect cameras to the DVR that don't come with the system. So far I have fixed the problem by installing memory cards in the cameras that I added to the system. Cameras are easy to monitor on my phone. I can even hear conversations of people that walk near the cameras and I can talk to my dogs while I'm not at home.

Okay I normally don't do reviews but I have to say I am so impressed with these cameras. I bought two originally just to see how they worked. they worked fine so I got two more and I got the 720p version. When you first buy these cameras you get 30 days of free cloud storage I was thinking well maybe after the 30 days. And I go to microSD card that that'll prove the weak link and they won't work as well. I was wrong. I actually like the cameras better on the SD card. Of course I have the cameras out of reach for someone to just steal them but what I like about the SD card is that it shows of timeline of history and you can actually scroll back to a actual event at a certain time and watch that video. As cheap as memory is these days. You can't go wrong. I'm really impressed with these cameras. So four cameras $240. Four SD cards $40. Wow .... They have been running for 2 weeks now without a glitch I lose power here up in the mountains and I thought okay when I lose power I'll have to reset every camera know that's not the case they kick right back into Wi-Fi. Also. If you lose Wi-Fi which we do a lot here up in the wilderness of Pennsylvania the cameras keep on recording so once you get Wi-Fi back you just go back and look and see what happened really really impressed with relatively inexpensive cameras
