Works well. Used tripod I had from camcorder, made it much more stable. Height for hanging high pictures or tvs is challenging to find placement. Not really a design flaw, just reality of having to clip or stand at almost ceiling height. I clipped to ceiling fan.

Paid for itself on the first job
Had to arrange pictures in a hallway gallery and the auto leveling cross pattern is an order of magnitude above a traditional level. Plus with a LASER no pencil marks or level scuffs on the wall. The rubber padded clamp mounted nicely on a door stop. A nice pouch is included to keep it safe between uses. No complaints. I recommend!

I bought this to help tile a shower surround and I'm so glad I did! I mounted it on a camera tripod and used the vertical lines to keep my alternating rows of subway tiles aligned correctly and to ensure that the courses were level. The lines were clear and bright enough for my needs. I think more mounting options would probably be helpful in the future, but for the price, it was perfect for my needs. I liked it enough that I bought the model with the green laser and cross marks for my brother. He does more outdoor work where the green laser will be more visible.
