I bought this for may son as a B'day present. I couldn't resist playing with it before wrappingt it. Overall, I was very impressed with the the laser level. The green laser was bright and crisp. I liked the dot formed lines and the "dash lines" incrementally spaced. Nice for setting thing off a center line (just count the dots). The auto level feature worked perfectly and the "lock feature" that holds the projected laser fixed worked as well. The clamp mounting system was pretty cool; it allows for height and skew adjustment in a ~1.5 inch range. I recommend this product.

Great Product
I anticipated some problems in that you have to raise the cross line laser unit to the height you want your level line to appear, but this turned out to be no problem at all. The included clamp is very versatile (although its fixed threaded end means you have to spin the whole laser unit or the whole clamp to get the two connected. I'm sure there are better mounting options available, but this is only a very minor annoyance. This is a great tool overall that I have already used on three separate projects. Lines are bright and though the unit is sensitive to slight vibrations, it settles quickly.

Great inexpensive laser level! I first purchased the Bosch GLL 2 did not live up to its expectations, sending it back tomorrow . I have only had the laser level for 8 hours, but can tell it will be a great performing tool. Highly recommended!
