Door Seal Review

I purchased this door seal in order to keep the creepy crawleys outside at night. It works great, if nothing else it gives me piece of mind knowing that I don’t have a big gap under my door anymore. I was afraid that it would be ugly, but on the contrary it gives the door some well needed ambiance, it’s not bulky or overbearing as I had imagined.

It works PERFECTLY!

It was simple to install, just follow the instructions which were legible and easy to understand, clean the area well (important), cut to length and stick. Product arrived in professional packaging. I installed it on my security screen front door which had a huge gap. It gives me piece of mind that creepy crawlies can't get in. Now that I know how well it works, I will purchase another for my bathroom door.

YourHouseInc has awesome customer service. This seems to be an excellent product (very thick/solid material) but was not wide enough for how short our door was cut - we inquired if there was a wider product, which there is not, and they insisted on a full refund. We feel guilty as this was nothing about the product or seller, our door was just cut really short - support this business!!!

The product is excellent for its materials and effectively blocks sound and odors from other rooms - the only issue is the glue. The company read my review about the glue issue and contacted me to make things more that right. It is hard to imagine a more caring manufacturer out there. Again, the actual product is superb and works perfectly 100%.

Stop Drafts Cold! Excellent Product...

Easy to install. Includes back up tacks to keep it up if the adhesive mount fails. That’s important because the adhesive works best in 75 degree plus temperatures to install. If it’s winter and you are cold already from drafts that is not going to work! But no worries! They thought of this. This draft stopper stopped the drafts cold! Great product.

Easy to install, durable, works perfectly

We ordered this after all of our standard draft dodgers did nothing to stop the drafts and constantly needed to be unstuck to close the door or put back to avoid the draft. It works PERFECTLY! Putting it on was a breeze - measured it against the door, easily cut to size w normal scissors. Once we figured out the best positioning, we stuck it on and further secured it with the 5 thumb tack like pieces. SUPER easy. It makes contact with the ground as the door opens/closes but flexes with the motion so it's not scratching the floor or impeding the movement of the door. No drafts felt after install! Buying 2 more for other draft areas in our house!!

Great doorsweep, easy to install, be careful around super glue :)

I needed to close a gap under the door to my office, and my floors aren't level. I used this kit (including the super glue and tacks), and it DEFINITELY does the trick. The sweep is sealed on there very very nicely. The only thing I did wrong was apply too much super glue and get some on the floor, but that's not the end of the world. I'd recommend putting some tissue paper down or something if you're going the glue route, just in case. And to be honest, I'm not sure I would need it, what with the adhesive and tacks...just figured, hey, why not. (Why not is because if you're silly like me, you drip it all over the place.) Anyway, point is, this is big enough for big doors and flexible enough for essentially any spot. Nicely manufactured, and even comes with a cute (though unnecessary) little tape measure. It literally has everything you need except scissors and maybe a hammer (if you're doing the tacks) right there in the package. I bought a second one for the guest room door and am now wandering around the house looking for more doors to seal up....

Easy to use and works great

I purchased this product to use on my screen porch door. When the builder finished I noticed a space under the door. The whole reason for the screen porch was to prevent insects from invading our outdoor living space. I searched and found this strip. It was easy to install and perfectly covered the space under the door. It's durable and easy to cut to size and the adhesive creates a strong bond.

Great quality product!!

I wish I knew about these earlier, this door seal is a must have if you want to prevent air coming in or out from under the door! It was simple to install, just clean, measure, cut with regular household scissors and stick. It literally took about 3 minutes. I chose this particular one because of the 3M name on the adhesive. The material is very bendy and seems very durable. It arrived in professional packaging, instructions are legible and easy to understand. I installed it on the bottom of my bathroom door because I would freeze after a shower from the draft the AC would create under the door. It entirely eliminated the draft, and it also has the added benefit of keeping my kids peeping eyes out. MK

They do not stick very well, even in low humidity areas

The adhesive is just not very good on these things. The rubber is high quality however, so that's a plus. In the end, I had to go buy some high quality double sided tape and use it to get these things to stay. Edit: The seller reached out to me and helped resolve the issues I was having.
