Awesome gift and go to tool in kitchen

Awesome product which has helped me out a lot. FYI product has really nice packaging with Easy to follow instructions included. The thermometer also has a magnet so I can easily grab it off my fridge and don’t forget that it’s in one of my drawers.

So now that my kitchen is clean afternoon our Thanksgiving meal I have to write a review on this awesome digital thermometer. Gone are the days of making sure my manual one is proper calibrated. This thermometer made cooking today’s turkey a breeze..I love it! It’s easy to use and has both a Fahrenheit and Celsius option. It also has a light for the display. And most importantly, it’s accurate. I know what I’m getting friends and family for Christmas! Would highly recommend this fantastic product.

Great Kitchen Tool

I like this thermometer because it's durable and easy to use. You can calibrate it with the push of a button not to mention that it's digital readout can be easily read with or without a background light that illuminate when using and can be switched on with the push of a button located on the thermometer. I use it for all of my cooking chores that require monitoring especially deep frying and candy cooking. I like the fact that it measures temperatures up to 500+ degrees. It's a great tool to have and it is so far durable.

Works - Right - Now!

Remember to clean the probe right away and again after every use. I took this out of the box, washed the probe, and used it literally less than two minutes after I got it! Being an engineer, I checked it for accuracy in boiling water and ice water and it was right on. My old sealed-bulb candy thermometer was reading almost 5 degrees high!! Now my fudge comes out right without a fight!! 😀 I've been using it for months now and I'm completely happy with it!

An instant read thermometer is a necessary kitchen tool if BBQ frequent, or even just cook meat and poultry regularly. It takes all the guesswork out of it and ensures your meals are both safe and delicious. I went cheap when I bought my first instant read thermometer and got the least expensive one I could find. That was a mistake. It wasn't very accurate and often gave low readings, leading to things being overcooked. This one is much better and very accurate. You do not need to spend a lot on one of these, but you do get what you pay for up to a certain point, so do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks and get this quality product.

Hard to beat for the price!

So far this is my favorite probe thermometer that I’ve ever owned. I’ve had four or five thermometers that are in this price range and I like this one best. The magnet is awesome, the hold feature is very nice. And the fact that it’s water resistant will probably prove to be a hugely thoughtful feature! Next test will be the longevity test!

Top quality product

Much better than my Weber thermometer. Thinner probe allows it to record temperature quickly. The long handle and probe means that you can keep further and safer away from the hot oven when testing temperature of meat in the oven. It was already calibrated but I followed their instructions with ice water. Used several times already as we are always nervous about undercooked meat; both my wife and I are quite delighted with this thermometer and recommended it to our son.

Versatile Food Thermometer

Picked this up in preparation for Thanksgiving and used it tonight while I cooked. It comes with a battery so it's ready to use right out of the package. There is a helpful guideline of what temperature your meat should be when it's ready for settings like poultry, ground meat and steak (rare, medium etc.) There is a backlit screen feature that you can turn on or off to conserve batteries indoors and also to use out on the grill in the dark. The system shuts off when you move the thermometer to storage position. This item is definitely good value for your dollar!

Love it

I love this thing! Works really well and tells the temperature almost instantly. Very easy to use. I also like that it has a bottle opener attached to it. Definitely recommend!
