Great harness

One of our dogs always pulls when on a leash and with past harnesses we just couldn't stop his constant jumping and pulling. This harness immediately controlled that problem. I don't know what manner of sorcery was used to produce it, but this thing just plain works. I love it and I would recommend it to anyone. Well, mostly to people with dogs. It wouldn't make much sense to use it on a plant. Or an aardvark.

OUTSTANDING! Superior quality. SUPER PRICE! Works so well for my dog that continually pulls. I am fostering a hound dog and he is 5 yo. and had lived outside for most of his life until ending up at the shelter and has never been taught manners. So this is perfect in addition to his leash . Every time he starts pulling I grab the handle and he gets the hint. Then I can let his leash back out and he is learning not to pull so much. It has made my life much easier when it comes to walks. I also use it in the house to teach him to slow down when heading outback . He seems very comfortable which makes me feel much better. And it's so simple to put on him. You will truly appreciate this harness if you have a dog that needs manners, is a puller or if you have a strong dog that thinks he/she is the boss. I LOVE IT! I'm gonna look for more products from this company.

It was like magic

I have four dogs ranging from a large breed to a small girl, of course the one the small girl turned out to be the one that would constantly pull on our walk making it no fun for anyone. We tried a choke collar (not the ones with spikes) but she didn't respond well to it. I put the harness on her, first of all she seemed to like to be different from the other dogs, posing in her pretty harness. Then I attached the leash and she pulled no more. It appears to raise her front legs a bit which doesn't give her the purchase to pull me along. Don't get me wrong, she is far from walking like an angel but it has made our walks fun again. I for one was very surprised. - The harness itself fit her well and is easily put on and removed with the simple clips. She feels secure in it and I am confident that she doesn't mind it at all. Overall this was a simple solution to something that could have taken months to fix.

Great quality for less

I like that this harness is durable, high quality, that allows me to handle without choking my pup. The reflectors are nice and is just overall a good looking harness. The collar that comes with it is adjustable and again of nice, thick yet comfy material. Very happy with my purchase

A True XL harness!!!!!

Thank You Winsee for making a true XL harness!!! My Bella is 103lb 42"chest 25" neck. No other harness was big enough ! Excellent guality. A lot of effort was put in to the details. Mesh for cooling heavy stitching sturdy clips & rings padding. Easy On & Off! Bella loves it! She was a puller who goes "fullout". I walked her 1 time using chest clip.She would stop & look at me like "what just happened"! Now I use back clip & MAGIC she does not pull!!! This harness & company are Pawsome!!!!! AAAAAA+++++ THANK YOU WINSEE!!!!!

Excellent harness!

Excellent harness!! I bought two XL size harnesses- one for my 110 lb Great Pyrenees, and one for my overweight 80 lb Australian Shepherd. I measured my dogs multiple times before I decided to purchase. I was still kind of worried the XL would be too small in the neck area for my Pyr, since she has so much neck fluff. But it fits perfectly. Before these, my dogs had harnesses where you have to put their head through a hole and slip a loop over their leg to get the thing on. It was a hassle. With these harnesses all you have to do is slip it on over the head and buckle the strap on their chest. Walking has become much easier, too! I've trained my Pyr to walk by my side since I got her at 8 weeks, so she never pulls and isn't a problem when walking. Henry, however, was adopted at 9-10 months of age and had no prior training aside from teaching him his name. So he still tugs and pulls a bit. I firmly believe this harness helped with the pulling! He now stays by my side just like Annie, and only tugs if there's another dog barking at us when we walk (only if they bark first. If they just walk by Henry will look at them but keep walking forward). Another great touch is the removable patches. If you want you can personalize your harness. It will also do great as a service vest, if you get the correct patches. I would definitely recommend this harness to anyone with a dog large enough to fit it!

Well-made and sturdy - You should by this one.

This is a very well-made harness! I reviewed every harness on Amazon (including all reviews of each) before choosing this one. What makes it great is that it's sturdy, the plastic clasp (which they all seem to have) is larger than most and seems stronger). Also, once you clip it in, there is a cloth piece that comes across it and snaps into place to, I assume, help keep the clasp from pulling out or breaking. It just gives it some extra hold. I suggest you buy this one, but the guidelines they give for sizing is all off. I have a 2-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix who is tall and 78 pounds. I measured her neck and her chest just like they ask, and her measurements showed she clearly needed a "Medium." I didn't think that was right, so I looked and looked at the reviews and photos of the dogs people posted and sizes they bought, and I decided on an X-tra Large for my dog. This one fit her perfectly! From what I'd read, it seems that even thought the strap around the chest is adjustable, if you get it too small, the part that comes across the neck can be too small and thus land in the wrong spot on the dog's neck and choke the dog. This front piece is supposed to actually fall below the neck (as you see in the main photo). I wanted one that my dog could not pull backwards and pull out of, as many harnesses are easy to pull out of. It seemed that she couldn't pull out of this one, but when we went to the vet the other day, right inside the door she began pulling backwards trying to back herself out the door, and the harness did pull off over her head. I had it not real tight under her chest as I didn't want her to not be able to easily breathe in and out, so maybe I should have had it a little tighter (I've since slightly tightened it). I still believe it works better and stays on better than any other harness I've tried. And, it seems to be exceptionally well made. I have been using this for two months and my dog pulls like a sled dog! She quit pulling when I first used it on her, but then she began pulling again, so it doesn't stop the pulling, but I think I just need to properly train her for that. She is getting better. By the way, I have no connection with the manufacturer of this and am not paid to write a review. Since I spent hours and hours reviewing ALL of the harnesses on Amazon, I just wanted to pass along this information to you, so you don't have to spend the time I did to find the right one!

Great for old dogs

I've been looking for a harness for my old dog that would allow me to help him get up and down without putting pressure on his neck. This one is perfect and he doesn't seem to mind it at all. It's sturdy and has a wide strap that lifts him from his chest. He's about 80 pounds and is wearing an XL. The chest strap has a lot size range, but the neck strap is not adjustable, so pick your size according to the length of the neck strap. If the neck strap is too short, the chest strap will rub your dogs front legs.

Awesome large dog harness.

Otis loves his new harness. It must be very comfortable because he likes wearing it. He looks very handsome in it too. It's awesome. Very reflective and the handle is in the perfect place for holding onto him when he gets excited with unexpected company arriving through the front door. I'm also using this harness on him with a recently installed 100 ft trolley line. This vest is perfect for keeping him secure and comfortably safe in the back yard, on leash, or at unexpected times when I need to grab him before he becomes a proverbial bull in a China factory. He's a gentle Ben but still 105 lbs. the handheld strap has already come in handy several times. Thanks.
