working great in my basement

For starters, the dehumidifier was delivered in less than 24 hours after the purchase. I had up and running in no time and am using to remove moisture in the basement. I was tired of buying the hanging bag humidifiers which filled up too quickly. It seems to be working great and it is no too noisy. In the long run I think it will save me money and control the moisture in the basement.Overall great so far!

Super quite

We put this in a 2000 square foot basement with a drain hose to the sump pump. It has no problem keeping the humidity around 40%. I have to check it every now and them to make sure it's still running because it's so quiet. Would recommend this 100%!

Works great

I am using this for my basement and it is working wonderfully. Went from 75% humidity to under 50 in two days. Using the included draining hose into the sump makes this pretty much maintenence free. For where it is the noise level us fine. It may be noisier in a quiet environment but still fairly quiet. I am highly recommending this unit

Easy set up out of box. Quiet running, and reduced the humidity 30% in less than 24 hours. Think we will be extremely pleased with the Honeywell Dehumidifier.

Honeywell makes great home HVAC products

I've had Honeywell thermostats and air purifiers over the years and have had no short-term issues with any of them. I decided to go ahead with this 70 pint dehumidifier for my living and dining room areas due to all the condensation built-up over night. The moisture and humidity was so high this winter, I was having a heck of a time closing the front door! Once the TP70WK arrived at my door, I opened it up and was pleased by the excellent factory packaging. The instructions were very easy to follow so I was up and running in no time. You will definitely hear the fan even on its low setting (high is too loud for me and unnecessary unless you live in a tropical climate) so don't be surprised if you have to talk just a hair louder or up the volume on your TV at times. What sets this unit apart is the mirage front LED indicator which tells you the current RH. It can be easily viewed from a distance, whereas all other dehumidifiers can only be 'read' whilst standing right up above the unit. I even went ahead and ordered the smaller brother to this guy, the TP30WK for master bathroom and bedroom duty as we have a slight moisture and mildew issue there as well.

AWESOME

No complaints- The moment I took it out of the box, I could feel the quality, as I expected with Honeywell. There isn't much noise and the material feels durable. When I tried lifting it with the handle, I was happy t see Honeywell added a thicker handle so I feel like it won't fall apart if I need to lift id with the water tank is full or something. Only complaint might be the bunch of parts inside the water tank which is kind of annoying to attach but I guess they are all there for a god reason.

Zero setup, thoughtful design, little noise and quite effective

A pipe in my basement busted that led to a damp wall and lots of humidity everywhere. Rainy weather in Jersey made it worst. I chose this Honeywell model because of the 5 year warranty. I don’t like assembling things but was pleasantly surprised that it took me less than two minutes to set it up. The settings were simple to understand and it’s been running for a week with no problems so far. The sound is bearable and it looks nice in my basement. We got the pipe and the wall fixed but still kept the dehumidifier on most the time. What I thought was special was that the water is easy to empty and the container has a handle that was convenient, compared to a previous dehumidifier I owned a few years ago. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
