I ordered this camera because my Jeep Wrangler 2Dr needed a backup camera. The Auto Vox is a super neat camera. It was absolutely easy to install, and I am not a big DIY guy, at least not for electronic stuff. This one is pretty straight forward. The biggest problem for me was a personal one, determining where and how to mount both the camera and the monitor. Once you get past those decisions, the actual installation and connections were very simple. The monitor is easy to see, and has a very clear color picture that actually surprised me with its clarity. At this point, my only remaining concern is, will it actually be water proof, as advertised. Time will tell for that concern. Other than that it is perhaps the best wireless backup camera on the market for the money! I would buy it again in a micro-second!

I installed my backup camera back in September and it is still working fine. As you can see from the photos I have enclosed, the Stainless Steel cover 2"x2" top measurement and 2 1/2" back keeps my camera dry during heavy rain.

Works well except there is about a 5 sec delay from when you put it in reverse and when image appears. It it was quicker it would be 5 stars. UPDATED: COMPANY SENT REPLACEMENT THAT WORKS MUCH BETTER. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU.

Have been looking for backup camera for a 2011 F150 XLT Super-cab that was wireless. Bought this on reviews/price. Read instructions and took 45 min to install. Worked great 1st time, have had it in place for 2 weeks now, no issues. I can't believe how easy this was to install and use. I have it attached to the backup lights and it shows the picture within 2 secs when I put into reverse. I recommend.

Brought this wireless back up camera for my 2012 Honda Accord. Very easy to install. Only need to connect the backup camera to the reverse lights. The screen is of good size. Great video quality for both day and night.

Super easy installation! I would say the hardest part is to tap the camera wire to the reverse light but if you follow the instruction it should be a seamless procedure. The huge angle is amazing. I literally see everything, maybe not fully 180 but I think it's sufficient for safety. Night quality is great compare to my old generic cam. Best thing is that it doesn't flick as my old cam that pick up random signal.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and installed it today. Installation was a bit on the rough side (the Chevy Trailblazer had lots of quirks and odd angles to get around). All of the plugin outlets are 'on' all the time, so the screen stays in standby as long as the power plug is in the outlet (not a very good feature as I don't know how much this drains the battery) and I don't feel like searching for a 12-volt power source that isn't hot when the engine is off. She'll have to remember to unplug the power when exiting the vehicle then plug it back in after she starts the car. But the display! WOW! Great! The camera was a bit tricky to mount, but found a nice spot under the tailgate and routed the wires under the rear edge of the floor. Just tried it at night - great picture and very clear, even in total darkness, with just the backup lights lite. No more excuses for backing into the mailbox or trash pails at the end of the driveway! She loves it!

The camera works great once u figure out how to wire it. I have 08 tahoe as suggested I tried to wire camera to back up lights. For some unknown reason it will not work using the back up lights. Testing the out put of wires I get 12 volts using the positive and negative wires . I tried grounding the negative to frame still would not power camera. I thought perhaps the amps were not enough to power the lights and camera so I removed the bulb . Still wouldn’t work camera. I have been auxiliary wiring cars for years, couldn’t figure this one out. Perhaps it has something to do with the positive and negative systems on newer vehicles. Anyone know? I’d like to know. It puzzles me. Anyway I went to an alternate wiring way since the tahoe has a 12 volt cigarette type plug in back close to hatch. So I put a plug in adapter on camera wire to plug into to socket. However the problem with this is no way to turn off camera. I solved this problem by getting a 12 volt remote switch and wired it between socket and camera. This makes u able to turn it off from front. I Used Velcro to attach the monitor to top half of mirror and still have enough mirror to see well too since there’s plenty of wire I was able to run wire behind visor and rubber moulding to socket. All works great as ad says. The camera is fine but wiring it was a challenge.

Installed in an F150 -2014. Mounted camera in handle of tailgate. It fit nicely opposite side of key lock. Used epoxy paste to set and a simple bracket behind it for the extra hold. Love how bright the picture is at night when you need it most. It was money well spent. Note a little Rainx on lens keeps it clear when it rains.

Most of the new cars these days have the backup camera ready. My car is old but we need this backup camera to prevent any unexpected incidents. We chose this item because if these reasons below: 1. Convenience: can be installed on any cars, any models without running cable wires between monitor and backup camera. 2. Easy install & set up: I did set up on my car within 30 minutes. The instruction is easy to understand and follow. 3. Accuracy: the camera works perfectly and accurate. 4. Affordable.
