Perfect for what I was looking for

For the price, Quictents are the best "cart garages" available, in terms of sturdiness and durability. Yes, the instructions for this model of Quictent are seriously lacking, but it only took my 2 sons a couple of leisurely hours to assemble it. They claimed it was a vacation from software engineering, but the two of them did have to put their heads together very creatively in deep thought in order to solve a few issues. My husband assembled a larger model of Quictent all by himself in the past, and that one lasted 8 years before the stress corners near the zippers on the sunniest side of the tent began to fray... nonetheless, that Quictent still remained water tight at 10 years old, when we gave it away upon moving. TIPS: Keeping the fabric pulled taut is important, in order to minimize wear and tear. In addition to regularly using those wonderful built-in ratchets, we learned to add locking nuts to the frame to prevent it from growing progressively less sturdy over time, thus causing the fabric to grow less taut (alternative: tighten all "30-some" nuts by hand every couple months or so after ratcheting) - a sturdy frame will make a big difference in stability, AND on wear and tear of the fabric. Now, I must admit that we live in a moderate climate with almost no snowfall and very little wind... this surely helps with the durability factor. For our situation, we are sold on the Quictent line and HIGHLY recommend them for temporary shelter needs. THAT BEING SAID, this "6x6" model's lack of instructions DOES cause it to have "special" requirements: at LEAST one person involved in the assembly needs to excel in engineering-type problem solving at a hands-on level, in order to avoid overwhelming frustration and loss of sanity (and hair) for the assembler(s)!
