Was going to return it since I got a new battery in my car but then the day I was going to return it a neighbor with a big SVW had a completely dead battery and they were unable to start their battery using another jump starter box. I gave them this one to try which was lighter and smaller than the one they were using, they were skeptical but it immediately started their vehicle. They were amazed and grateful so I decided to keep it.

I gave it to my grandparents to use on their cruise. It powered my grandpas portable oxygen concentrator for two hours even after completely charging the batteries . They enjoyed their cruise because it gave them more time to enjoy outside their cabin. I’m sold and will be buying more!

I didn't really understand what I was ordering until it arrived. I thought that I was ordering a plain old booster battery. What I found is that this is a battery the size of a small book that packs a whollup. It kicked my battery dead Z-Car immediately without hesitation. It recharges itself using a provided USB connection. My strong criticism is first, the USP charger is NOT provided. Come on! Second, the production directions enclosed are poorly written. Never the less, I give it 5 stars.

I've had a few times in the past several months where one or both of the cars wouldn't start due to battery issues. I've been looking around for a car jump starter box that would be economical, but it's definitely a 'nice to have' and I don't foresee using it all the time. I found the TrekPow and purchased because of the good reviews. As luck would have it, the day I purchased one of our vehicles began to have battery issues and the battery needed replacing. I'm bummed I didn't purchase sooner to be able to put the TrekPow through some real-world trials and tests. The TrekPow has a few pluses - the carrying case is great, I'm happy it comes with a number of cables and the flashlight is a plus. I am really happy to find a pack that doubles as a power bank should I have a need to charge a device and don't have another power source available for whatever reason. I tested the two USB ports charging my phone and neither are fast-charging, but both reported adequate normal charging times, what I would expect to see from a standard wall charger. I appreciate the solid feel of this unit and I'm hoping to have peace of mind for years to come.

Initial observations - Purchased to jump start my Corvette 6.2 L engine that requires 700A, so high capacity was a requirement. PROS The unit is well made of quality materials. The battery clamps are sturdy and constructed using steel pivot pins instead of being made from molded plastic - should resist any inadvertent accidents. The included 12V cigarette lighter receptacle is handy for many portable tire inflators, vacuum cleaner or other accessories requiring that connection. LED flashlight is BRIGHT USB and USB 3.0 quick charge output ports The hard case container is well made and keeps all the bits in one place. It is a bit larger than I expected, but very solid. The four LED charging indicator can be seen easily across the room. The LCD screens on many other jump starters look nice and suggest "high tech", but require close up observation to determine charge state. If the battery is charged to THREE LEDs, that's adequate for my use... I have no desire to go over to the unit and activate the LCD to know it's actually 72% charged... YouTube videos demonstrate using the unit which is so simple a cave man could do it... CONS A bit pricey at $90 retail, but was discounted through Amazon and coupons to a reasonable price. User manual font requires a microscope to read. Good luck with that on the proverbial "dark and stormy night" Charging to 100% out of the box took an entire day on standard USB charger. A 3A charger is necessary to get reasonable charging times. Not a con per se, but it uses USB C connector for charging. A short USB C cord is included, but a longer cord, extension or USB C adapter required if more distance needed for charging.

After writing a review that was less than favorable about the product i had received the company immediately reached out to me. They did everything possible to make it right. They sent me a new jump pack for no charge that seems to be working as described. I have not had any issues with this new unit. It's charging properly and the items I've charged with it have charged fully. I would recommend this product to anyone. If you have a problem with the one you receive they will do everything to make it right. This is one of the few companies that actually care about their product and customers.

* update 1/8/19 - I've also used this with my 4.7L V8 and it started that like a champ as well. It started at least 6 or 7 times before the pack completely drained, but in this situation my battery was D-E-A-D. The vehicle would not even stay running after initial start. So I put my truck battery on a charger for a few hours and charged up the Jump pack. Tried it again, it started & ran after 2 shots of the jump pack. I will agree the instructions are terrible, but it's really not too hard to figure out. I'm still very happy with my purchase * original review - Not sure if this is going to start 20 cars in a row like the video I watched on it, however it did start my motorcycle with a completely dead battery. And I know that my bike requires a lot of amps to crank it over. That's pretty much what I got it for. if I ever have the chance to jumpstart anything else, perhaps I will update. But for now I'm very happy with the purchase

So, just over a year ago, I bought a BoPower 500A after some very intensive reading of reviews on Amazon and several other reputable sites. It was my first entry into the mini-jumper world having come from the 30lb lead jumper box for many years. The BoPower 500A did do what I asked of it (jumped a few sedans, a motorcycle, powered my phone and had the emergency light) and it was fairly easy to use. However, while shopping for another jumper for the wife's car, I came upon the TrekPow 1500A and I have found it to be an incredible investment! It is just as light and compact as the 500A but packs a much more serious punch to jump start larger vehicle engines. Just recently, jumped a Ram 2500 and the box didn't even struggle to turn the engine over. Great CCA for such a compact box! Everyone I have shown this to is wildly impressed for such a small power pack. They all say "that must have cost a fortune" and I send them to Amazon for the TrekPow 1500A and they are thrilled to find out how this kind of quality can be so affordable. So, in fairness, I thought of comparing the two boxes (TrekPow vs BoPower) I will say that the TrekPow has more power, lasts longer, recharges extremely fast using the Type-C imput, holds a charge for a very long time, and most importantly, it carries the power to jump the larger vehicles and does so in a very safe way thanks to the safety circuit built into the jumper cables. What I find that makes people most nervous is hooking up the cables to a battery. Do it wrong, and you can cause electrical shorts, even a boil-over or fire. The circuit built into the cables prevents that from happening and won't allow you to cause damage by incorrectly hooking up the cables to the battery. So, to test the ease of use, I asked the wife to show me how she would hook it up if she were alone and had a dead battery. I did give her a brief introduction to the jumper so she wasn't completely unaware of how to use it- I wouldn't do that to anyone and there are very easy to follow instructions included with the kit for those that aren't car care savy. She was surprisingly comfortable hooking it up to the car battery once I let her know that there was a fail-safe built into the jumper line. (She has the larger of our vehicles, so guess which one she has in her car now....yeah, the 1500A) In addition to jumping batteries, I have found that having 2 USB outputs to be extremely helpful and the second USB is rated at over 2A and I can charge my Samsung S8 from 20% to 100% in just over 15 minutes. The flashlight/strobe is a great addition and extremely bright. When you find yourself around others that didn't come as prepared as you, plan to lend this box out to charge a lot of phones and still have the capacity to jump a vehicle in the parking lot on the way out. As I mentioned, the TrekPow is very easy to use; simply press the power button near the LED indicator lights and the entire box is ready to go for whatever you throw at it. I've used it all weekend at baseball tournaments with power to spare thanks to the 44.4 Wh capacity. One one occasion, I was able to save the day buy using the TrekPow to charge a dead insulin pump for a diabetic- being miles from assistance, it was this guys lifesaver. The versatility of this jumper is incredible. Not a single hesitation to getting a second TrekPow for my newly16 year old driver to keep with him. The build quality is fantastic and I anticipate this box lasting a very long time. The jumper cables are very strong (see pic) and vastly improved over the prior model and the safety features make this a great gift for anyone who isn't that savvy with cars. Oh, and to top it off, it also comes with the handy solid travel case that keeps all the cords neatly bundled inside with the jumper. Knowing what the TrekPow is capable of, I'll never be on the road without one of these within arms reach. Just the peace of mind I have for my family members while they have this with them makes this box an absolute 'must have'. Don't wait for a special occasion, get one or two for those you care about- you'll wonder how you did "life" without one.

Alrighty, so I put this thing through it's paces, and all I gotta say is that there's not much else that's this good and this price. So to start, it was -5 today in the Catskills of NY. I had to jump-start three cars. A 2004 Volkswagen Touareg, a 2012 Volkswagen Golf, both TDI engines, and a 2006 Mazda3. Some background on these engines, they are Diesel engines and one small gasoline engine with NO alternator output. The CCA required to start the Touareg is 900, and for the Golf is 800. For the Mazda, it's 660. Well, it started all 3 with no issue while covered in ice and snow in frigid cold weather. The cables didn't get hot, the battery pack didn't get hot, and when they cranked, they all sounded like they had a full battery. Now, I'd like to explain why this jump-starter has an advantage above all the others. Most other lithium starters have 3 batteries inside that are rated 3.7V nominal, and when fully charged they will be about 4.1V per cell. This means they will put out roughly 12.3V. Well, this one puts out 16V when the jumpstarter is active. This is the advantage. When cranking, this jump-starter dips down to about 11V rather than 10V like the others, this is very good for cranking as it gives more usable voltage for cranking an engine and allows for higher amperage to be drawn by the vehicle's starter. All in all, this one shines high above the rest at it's price point. I must say, I will be purchasing another because I'd like to have one in my car for any emergency.

Worked as advertised. Great jump starter. One click and boom! My car was running. Haven't used my car in a month and battery died. This jump starter did a great job. Comes with a case. It's small and feels well built. Came at 75% charge. Used the iPad charger and it was full in about 2hrs I think. I'll have this in my car from now on. It also has a bright flashlight and of course you can charge your gadgets on it. Overall great product.
