PSA - not for Philips Hue bulbs

So these lampshades are stunning. But if you have Philips Hue chandelier lightbulbs I don’t know that ANY clip on shade is going to work well with them. The size and shape is just different enough that they barely grip and they sit much further up. I have one regular bulb in there to illustrate by how much. Honestly they might pop off the Philips Hue bulbs if I leave them longer... not sure. Not everyone is going to have an issue with this but I wanted to throw it out there as something to think about. IF you have regular bulbs though and you’re debating these shades, just do it. I don’t have dimmer switches and there are reasons I’m using the Philips hue bulbs so these are sadly going back for me.

Omg. These shades are absolutely beautiful! I bought the cream color. They are exactly 5 and 1/2 round. They come individually wraped. The quality is superb. Can't believe the low price! Will transform your lamp immediately! I had bell shades before but these drum style gives modern look...upscale! I love them. Highly recommend. I'm very particular...these are gorgeous!!

I had to return the shades because, as I suspected before I ordered them, they were too short. The quality of the shades and fabric were just as I was looking for. The price was excellent. Wish they would have worked for me.

Made ELEGANT candle lamps for my event!

Never could I have imagined how BEAUTIFUL and elegant these black and gold silk lampshades were! The real silk shades outside and gold lining inside really makes a significant difference. Added them directly on top of Christmas window battery candles! The set I bought on Amazon had 'real brass' bottoms and it looked amazing at my party. The compliments never ended! What pictures don't show is that you can really see the light on the tables from the battery candles just like a real candle lamp. I took a chance doing this because I was not sure how it would turn out and I surprised myself! Obviously... do NOT use a real candles!

Stunning quality and cost effective style upgrade

My challenge was to update the lighting in a formal dining room in a high end home with a very expensive but somewhat outdated (out of fashion) Italian chandelier with ivory silk pleated shades that threw out a rather bland white light. Meh. Initially I thought I'd need to replace the whole fitting with something more mid-century modern, a starburst or similar, something sparkly and geometric. Not so. I realized that the real was not with the fitting which is a quality vintage classic, but with the shades - the chandelier itself cost $1,500+ and to replace that with an inferior quality product didn't make sense, but I definitely needed to change not only the look of the piece in daylight hours, also the tone and feel of the light it gave out at night. These shades were very affordable and worth a try. WOW, what a difference these shades have made! They have totally updated the whole room, color, ambience, love them. The quality is superb. GREAT CHOICE!

Sturdy

Updated my chandelier with these and they were so inexpensive but are good quality. Might order more for another chandelier.
