Simple, sturdy, accurate.

I just got this yesterday and was at first confused because, although it comes with a battery, I did not know how fresh it was and, or course, I had no way to test it. I was happy, by the way, that its battery is a standard AAA size. The directions which come with the tester are not very explicit but I finally realized I would see no reading until I actually tested a battery. The tester makes it very easy to do so I took an AA battery and it read fully charged. No number percentage is given, it's just a bar at the top divided into segments. You put your batteries in the slots indicated and they fit right in. To be sure the contact was the best it could be, I also held them in. Then came the surprise that the battery I had just put in - which showed 100% - showed nothing at all. I tested it again and everything was fine, so I tested a number more and saw that the strength indicator always turned off after a minute. So all was well. I find it infinitely better than any battery tester I've ever had before. I plan to buy a few more as gifts.

EXCELLENT DESIGN & BUILD

This tester while new & I have no long term usage it REALLY IS SUPERIOR TO 2 others I purchased from amazon. The design is superior & easier to use & to receive accurate results. Having the ability to put the battery to be tested into a designated slot makes getting good contact with the positive & negative poles. EXCELLENT DESIGN & BUILD

My favorite new gadget. Why didn't I buy this universal battery tester before?

OMG this Dlyfull Universal Battery Tester is so easy to use! It was nice to finally clean out the junk drawer filled with questionable batteries. It tested every kind of battery that I had including: AA, AAA, C, D, 9V and button batteries (2025 and 2032). No more waiting for my husband to come home from work to dig out the multimeter from his basement workshop. This tester came with the battery that is needed to operate it, I only had to release the pull tab. I look forward to using this for years to come, so I hope it lasts.

works great, easy to read, fast delivery

Remember to remove clear plastic strip from the back of charger that is used to prevent accidental discharge. I didn’t notice this at first and was afraid Charger was doa. I turned charger over and noticed the clear plastic piece, remove it , just a quick pull and charger worked perfectly

Very versatile tester.

I have found myself testing and keeping batteries that I probably would have thrown out. Even when batteries are charged it allows you to see which ones have the highest charge. This is very helpful for me since I primarily use rechargeable batteries. In the ratings, it asks for battery life to be rated. I have not required a new battery for the tester since I purchased it so my rating for this feature is subjective.

Just what I needed

This was just what I needed to test all those loose batteries that I wasn't quite sure if they were new or old. I tried several different size batteries and it worked perfectly!!

Will save you $$$

My grandma was about to throw out a huge box of batteries. After I bought this and tested them, all of them were good except for 2. Saves you $$$ in the long run

Well made. Fast and easy to use.

All batteries easily snap into their designated slot and have a nice tight fit for an accurate reading. I was able to quickly go through several batteries testing and sorting the good and the bad batteries. The unit is well made and fast and easy to use.

My second one

I've had this battery tester for years with it's easy to use format. It finally gave up the ghost, and I'm happy to have found that it is still in production and available from Amazon at a very reasonable price.
