Works as Advertised
Just received this item yesterday. Works great, easy set up. Good extender, I have it paired w/ a Nighthawk Router. Extender is in my game room in the back of the house. Have it hooked up to Xbox and Gaming Rig via Ethernet, pulling 300mbs down on each device simultaneously. Not much more I can say, it works.

FIREWALL!!
I had a big problem getting this & my Nighthawk 1900 to connect. After 6 hours, on the phone with tech support, the problem was rectified. All this time I thought that I had a firewall & actually didn't. The 2 were in conflict & once a firewall was installed...no longer a problem!! So, make absolutely sure that you have a firewall!!

Works great with the R7800
We have a R7800 as our main Router & WIFI. The problem is it is in the basement on one side of our house. Our house was built about 1955 and the walls are drywall and thin coat plaster. We had a Tiplink RE450 extender in our living room, about 50 feet away and on the next floor. We were always losing the signal between the RE450 and the R7800. I got feed up and got the EX7700. After a few days the R7800 & the EX7700 were talking to each other solidly. Now I have a connection speed of around 100 Mbs on my phone from the next room further away. The two work together very good.

Great range extender
This range extender was a breeze to set up and it worked perfectly with my Nighthawk AC1900 router. It extended the range of my wifi in the house with no signal loss in all rooms, my garage and backyard. I can not say too much about speed because only slow internet is available in my area. But I do get consistent speed in the wifi range. Also the power adapter states it's only 120v 50/60hz not dual voltage like all my other net gear products. I tested the power adapter and it worked for me with 230v 50hz in Germany. Plugging it into that voltage is at your own risk.

Easy set up, great range....so far so good!
Received the Nighthawk X6 AC2200 extender today. I had to replace one of my Apple Airport Extremes that I had set up as a “mesh” Wi-Fi network extender - before mesh was cool. So far I’m impressed. The set up using the Netgear Assistant was easy to follow. (I don’t use WPS so didn’t try that set up option). The signal range this extender is putting out surpasses what I was getting from my AirPort Extreme, and I thought that was pretty decent.....And speeds are better than what I was getting before too. We’ll see how performance continues over time but I’m happy so far. I would recommend it, it’s one of the few extenders available that works with Any existing Wi-Fi network.

Great extension
I purchased this to go in my garage to help extend signal out to my shop. It works great. I have a NETGEAR Nighthawk X10 super router as we are a super user household. I have the NETGEAR Nighthawk X6S WiFi Mesh Extender downstairs in wired mode for my son who's a major gamer. All three in mesh mode work seamlessly together. Instead of having 6 different wifi names to deal with (one for 2.4 and 5.9ghz for each), now I have one Mesh network and one name (unless i enable guest.) My shop does not experience any lag and I am easily able to stream shows in there as well as camera feeds. It was easy to set up through WPS. It arrived quick and I am very happy with it.

Out standing coverage !!
I recently purchased a 3 story home in a secluded area with limited Internet options My neighbor employed by the local Internet company suggested that I piggy back off of his. My signal strength is between 85 and 95 on the average in my living room and 65 to 75 on the 3rd floor I am really surprised at the amount of coverage and signal strength of this unit !!

Love the fact that the extender has the exact name ...
Works exactly as advertised. Love the fact that the extender has the exact name rather than an extension of my wifi. I was not sure how well the ethernet would work but it works perfectly as well. Well worth what it cost. I am happy.

Works awesome.
I’m not a tech genius, but I wanted to get this because it seemed to be easy to set up and didn’t require me to switch back and forth between networks like other extenders. I’ve had it about a week and it was super easy to set up. I just hit the WPS button and it paired (I had to hit it a few times but it worked). I set it up about one floor above my router (roughly 20 feet over and 1 floor up). It works great and we now have fantastic coverage throughout the house. Our devices seem to switch back and forth and every device seems to be at full connectivity everywhere in the house. Although this seemed expensive, given how good it works and how easy it is to set up, I’ve got to give it 5 stars.

So far, so good!
We had the Netgear EX6200 range extender set up and running for several years to make the ATT Uverse wifi signal reach the other end bedrooms and living room of a long ranch house. It worked well for maybe the first couple years, but then even with firmware updates the performance steadily declined and there would be big chunks of the year that my kids couldn't receive a decent signal to use. I could rarely get or keep both bands of signal connected to that extender. I decided to give this new Nighthawk a try as soon as it was available, and it's made all the difference in our house. It was very easy to set up, and has picked up and kept both bands of wifi signal beaming through the whole house with very little speed degradation. It's nice not to hear daily complaints about how bad our wifi in the house is anymore. We have the Nighthawk sitting in the exact opposite end of the house from the ATT router, and it picks up both bands full strength. This is a huge improvement over the old Netgear extender.
