Easy to use, works great.
I needed a HDMI splitter and this got good reviews so I bought it. I wanted to run a 50 foot HDMI cable to the kids' room so they could watch TV, because for some reason our cable box would cut out the coax out signal whenever I changed the input on our main TV to another device. Anyway this splitter did the trick and I didn't need to plug in the external power. Picture and sound is just fine even in the kids' room over the 50 foot cable. The only issue I have with this splitter would be the shockingly short USB cable that is provided. I think it should be two or three feet long. I happened to have a longer cord and also a spare power plug but like I said I didn't need to hook up external power.

Mutiple Gaming Systems with Multiple Displays
My setup: Xfinity Cable box, Xbox One, Wii U, PS4, TV Display and Projector Display. I recently added a projector to my setup where I like to watch. My kids sometimes like to play their systems on the TV or projector. As anyone who reads above can appreciate, I'd get calls from home while at work asking what cable goes here, what cable goes there? I'd come home to a mess of cables to fix every time. I found these splitters, 3 to 1 HDMI port expanders, and manual switch, and started thinking of that I could piece all of these together to make it a seemless, easy, and headache free experience for anyone to use. Techole had 3 products that I used. I ended up using 2, 3 to 1 port expanders, 3 signal splitters, and 1 manual switch. See my drawing for the detailed cable mapping. It worked perfectly to my plan. No more cables have to be moved at all. The splitters allowed me to send the gaming systems signal to both the TV and the projector simultaneously. Now the kids can just turn on the TV, projector, or both! Very happy with these splitters. One final comment. These are sold with 5v power cables, but I did not need them. They received power directly from the gaming systems. Less wires to worry about.

As advertised, works very well
I purchased this item to mirror security cameras to two separate screens. The input comes straight off a 1050Ti video card, into the splitter. 1 output to one Dell 27"/1080P monitor, and the second output to a Sharp 40" HD TV. Although there is a SLIGHTLY noticeable degradation in image quality, it provides excellent images on both devices. In the case of this item, it will split the exact same image to two different monitors/TVs, and it preforms it's function well. It is a 5v DC powered device, and comes with a rather short power cable that is connected to a USB port. I used self-stick velcro to attach the device to the computer case. It will require an HDMI cable to connect the input port to the video source/computer....that IS NOT INCLUDED with the item.

Well built and easy to use
This small adapter solves a big problem for when you only have a single HDMI cable but have a need for the source video going to two places. For conference displays, in the past we have only used a single TV, but recently we have started using this to show the same thing on two screens/sides of the setup. Setting it up was as easy as plugging in two HDMIs out of the device and voila! This device is very well built (not cheap plastic, which was what I was expecting). Highly recommended.

Works great!
Use this at my desk where I teach at a high school and I use multiple monitors as working all day on a laptop screen is tiresome once you are old enough! The school does a video each morning for the announcements and this allows me to use the output of a secondary monitor to be split so that only that monitor's contents are sent to the projector thereby protecting sensitive student information from being seen. The HDMI signal from the computer is sent to the splitter which then sends an actively powered signal (rather than passive which looses integrity) to the secondary screen and to the projector which also allows me to demonstrate math graphs for which I don't have to twist around to see as it is also on my desktop monitor. This splitter worked right from the get go and if you use it far from your computer and though it comes with a power brick and cord, you can always use a cell phone charger that puts out at least 2 amps as they are all 5 volts with a longer power cord. Don't hesitate to buy this... it is rock solid in its construction with a nicely machined aluminum housing. Overall, if it holds up it is a super duper winner!

Da-Bomb - HDMI Splitter
I needed a device to split an HDMI signal for two HDMI receivers - 1) the TV, and 2) a Slingbox 500. This splitter worked perfectly on the first try. There is no setup. Plug it in and give it some electrical pixies and bam. Worky. You will have to provide a 5VDC source to power the device though. I used the USB port on my cable box for that. If you need HDMI splittage buy this device.

Sleek and easy to use
Tiny, compact and easy to use. This is amazing as I work from home on a laptop without a docking station. This unit allows me to easily mirror my laptop screen to two monitors to help working on a project that requires dual screens. Very sleek and compact compared to other units whixh can be big and bulky cables and power cables needed. This unit does it all would say for anyone looking for a unit like this grab this one it does the job at a very reasonable price

Worked Perfect
This did exactly what I needed it to. I wanted to have my Computer Screen also on my 4K TV at the same time.. The device is well made with a metal exterior, and very compact. It didn’t get hot like my last splitter, that I had to glue a heatsink to. I was going to ding it a star for the very short USB power cable about 18in, but it turns out it worked fine without it. Cheap price, and good warranty.

Works Great
Works even without the power supply connected! May be different for you, but I noticed several reviewers said theirs worked without hooking up to a power supply and sure enough, mine worked without the power supply also. I suspect it depends on whether the source HDMI signal is v1.0, 2.0, or whatever revision/type... and I don't even know what mine is, but it's a Tivo Mini that's feeding a Sharp 55" and a small Samsung 16" (?) TV which were both bought new in the past few months (late 2018). I can have one or the other TV on... be watching one TV with the other off... then go turn the 2nd TV on... and pretty much no matter what I've ever tried there's always a signal for either TV as long as I've turned on the source (Tivo Mini). Can't beat it for the price! Very small too. Loverly!

Works perfectly and lets me eliminate a cable box.
I use this in my mancave where I have a gaming TV setup and a second TV for when the kids come over. I didn't want to rent another cable box so I put this splitter on the output of my cable box and now both TVs receive cable (albeit the same channel) at the same time. This lets me watch tv when gaming, etc.
