A good product for a successful cleaning job
I used the brushes to clean tile and grout in the shower. The nylon brushes work very well, not too soft and not too hard. They are durable too. The larger brushes require a little bit more force and control with the power drill (Safety: make sure the drill doesn’t get wet). In combination with the right cleaning agent, liquid or powder based (like a abrasive), you will successfully clean all kinds of surfaces.

This brush set is a power house in the bathroom and kitchen! Read on for some tips!
It was the old "You can either scrub the shower or do laundry for a month". Needless to say I was going to scrub the shower...but not without involving a power tool. Of course my first search was Amazon and I found the Drillbrush single tool. I liked the idea of a curved tool but also wanted some flat tools for the tempered glass. This 4 piece kit has the crevice tool, a very stiff spot tool, and two levels of stiff bristle flat large area tools. The first area I tacked was the corners and the caulk lines in our stand up shower. I sprayed some tub and tile cleaner on and let it sit for about a minute. Then, at slow speed to start, I used the round head brush attachment. What an incredible difference. Once the cleaner was worked in I used a higher speed it just took out all the hard water, soap scum and whatever else was stuck in there. Next, I sprayed glass cleaner on the tempered glass which had looked like frosted glass for about a year due to hard water and soap scum. I used the red bristle aggressive brush and worked a 2'x2' area very slowly using overlapping and criss-cross patterns, much like buffing a car. After a few minutes I rinsed the area and was amazed at the difference. I could see through the glass and it was nearly crystal clear! I can't say enough about how well this kit worked. Some Tips: -Have extra drill batteries on hand. I went through 3 18v batteries in about 2 hours. -Let your spray cleaner sit on the area for a bit before scrubbing. -Work in small areas first using an overlapping and criss-cross pattern and medium pressure. -Go slow! Let the brush and drill do the work for you. I'll use this on our grout lines next for the tile floor and who knows what else. This is a very well built brush kit and I highly recommend it. Lastly, I don't get anything for writing these reviews, other than the satisfaction of knowing I helped someone else make an informed decision. Save your elbows, buy these brushes
I no longer have to use elbow grease to clean the shower, hard to clean pots, or even the outdoor patio tables. The brushes work great and don't require a lot of torque from my Dewalt cordless drill, at least not the yellow brushes. I look forward to purchasing the black brushes which are stiffer, should come in handy when i clean the grease stains in the garage floor.

You Want These
If you’re thinking about getting brushes that attach to your drill, you should get a set of brushes that attach to your drill. DIYer? Get em. Contractor? Get em. Professional house cleaner? Gem em. Lazy? Get em. The only caveats are — you really shouldn’t use a corded drill assuming that you’re using your brushes anywhere near water; and a heavy drill can make the process a little bit cumbersome for weak arms. I just threw a little bit of concentrated Gain all-purpose cleaner and a few squirts of Kaboom shower cleaner in my tub and went to town. Immediately soap scum and stains that I’d previously cleaned came out. Did the tile walls. Switched to the rounded brush for the caulk, corners, and fixtures. My tub is an older one that isn’t the prettiest, but I am confident now that it’s clean. I’m looking forward to seeing what these can do along the edges where the floor meets the baseboard. If my drill weighed less, I’d be unstoppable. Also a note to anyone dealing with illness/chronic illness, I’m a big fan of things that make the suck of cleaning easier. Cleaning is hard on the body regardless — all that bending over and awkward angles and scrubbing and so forth. If I was putting together a cleaning kit for someone, I’d recommend the Shark steam mop (with 3-5 cleaning pads depending on what kind/how much floor you have), Mr Clean Magic Erasers, and a set of drill brushes (and a lightweight cordless drill!). I have hardwood floors and also have a Roomba, just a baseline model that I bough refurbished, and it’s been going great for three years now (I do give it’s innards a good cleaning 2-3 times a year).

American value built into this American product
I was really impressed with this purchase, with many applications. Do you have a toilet the has too many battle stains of taco Tuesdays? Well the makers of Drill Brush came up with a solution to that. Whoever on the executive board of innovation at Drill Brush that thought it was a good idea to put a toliet bowl scrubber on a drill is a genius and you deserve a high five from a Bald Eagle. As soon as Fedex delivered my Drill Brish set I was eager to try them out so I plugged the yellow drillbrush attachment into my Porter Cable 20 volt cordless drill to scrub away some unsightly soap scum out of my bathtub. Needless to say my soap scum debacle was too great for a 20v lithium battery. So in great determination to impress the misses, I grabbed my Kobalt 9 amp corded drill to defeat the residue of soaps past. You may ask yourself, does this man have a tub of concrete or no time to be lightly scrubbing away like he’s June Cleaver. The answer is that the dirt, soap scum and caulking for that matter didn’t stand a chance against the Drill Brush and the torque behind my Kobalt drill. These brushes are worth every dollar you spend on them. So why spend hours and the energy scrubbing the tub, oil stains in the garage and grout in the kitchen when you can clean for your lady and feel like a macho man at the same time? I even read a review on this product that some lumberjacks in Minnesota use the white Drill Brush attachment to get the splinters out from underneath their nails because they are bold Americans and don’t have time for a mirror and tweezers. I say be a proud American and click add to cart on this American made product of New York.

This is the answer if you really want to get the job done.
Seems like a lot of money for some brushes but it's worth it's weight in gold. I have a home built in 1955 and the hall bathtub was so stained and gunked it made me consider either replacing it or having it professionally refinished. I looked at some of the power scrubber options with the 3.6 volt cordless attached. They were relatively inexpensive and they had the long wand attachment, but there was too many 1 and 2 star reviews in addition to the 4's and 5's. I may still consider one of those for light clean ups but the problem with them is two-fold. One is that 3.6 volt motors can't compare to an 18 volt cordless drill which is what this uses. Additionally the leverage principle kicks in so when using an extended rod on the 3.6 you are bound to be challenged and with that kind of reach you are not going to be able to really lean on it to get out the tough stuff. There is a third problem to them as well in that it takes about 20 hours to do the initial charge and then it only lasts about 60 minutes tops. That would have been a real headache with my 2 1/2 hour vigil. So I bought this instead. I'm really glad I did. It took that old 1955 bath tub and made it look just about new again. It is not a free ride. I put on knee pads and spent 2 1/2 hours scrubbing the tub and tile walls and glass shower door. It was worth it. I started using Bar Keepers cleaner liquid, and then shifted over to a fiberglass oxidation restorative liquid. Am I saying that is the way to go? Not really, but I think any kind of good cleaner will work since the brushes are doing most of the work. I'm looking now for a good sealer to try and keep it that way. The brushes show absolutely no signs of wear after all of that scrubbing so they should last a long time. I mostly used the large head and the round nose cone. The large head on a white tub would leave black rub marks from the black backing material on the brush, but that was pretty easily removed by going over the corner/edges along the bottom with the round nose one. If you don't already have a cordless drill I would advise you to get one; at least a 14.4 volt although the 12 volts are really lightweight and handy. Then get this brush kit. There are a million uses for a cordless drill, and these brushes to tile, glass, shower doors, tubs, you name it. My house is going to be sparkling once I get caught up in all of the places I can use this.

These are great products!
They save me a tremendous amount of time in cutting through tough grime. If you have a tough cleaning job, these are worth their weight in gold. The only thing to watch out for is that they are powerful and will likely chew up caulked joints which will require a re-caulking. Chances are that the caulk is damaged as well, so no real extra work required. I'd like to also comment that I use them with a plug-in drill and they work just fine.

very powerful cleanse
I used this brush attachment on my brushless Makita impact driver, set on SLOW rather than auto or fast speed. It can be tricky to control the amount of torque and not end up wearing a lot of spray or having the brush go into "hammer" mode. Once you get the hang of it and keep the flat brush head perpendicular to the surface you are cleaning, it works extremely fast and efficiently. I suggest that you clean and dry thoroughly your drill or impact driver once you are done to make sure it doesn't rust out. I dropped some three in one oil into and on the collar so it didn't get stuck. I also used mostly water, no cleansers, with the brushes. The brush heads themselves appear to be of a rust-free metal Bristles easy to rinse out and won't hurt tile. The round brush good for tight corners of a shower pan.

YES - These heads really do work. I mean they really, really, really do work.
If you have any doubt that these brushes won't work for you, let me tell you about my experience with them. I used the brush heads on tile, grout, porcelain tub, shower stall glass doors and chrome hardware that had all forms of soap scum and mold and mildew, and I can say they haven't looked this good in a long time. I wish I had taken some before and after pictures to include with the review, but I was having too much fun (yes cleaning) to remember to do it. You will need to have a strong grip and wrists, but once you get the hang of it, the heads really do the job. I can't say that whatever you are working on will look brand new again, but it will look so much better with a great less amount of work on your part since the drill is doing most of the effort. I have used them with soap and scum remover and soft scrub products and everything is clean and shiny again - even the grout between the tiles. I would recommend that you have towels handy to keep any splash back from setting on the drill for too long. Finished the master bath and now onto the kids bathroom. One last recommendation is that go to drillbrush.com and watch their videos on proper use and care. They are helpful. Also, on the web site, they provide a great deal more information on the colors and the stiffness of the brushes and where they are recommended to be used. This way you know you are getting the right product for the right job.

They really work
For all the wives who want their husbands to clean more, buy them these brushes!! I bought the green kit especially for the smaller brush and the round one. They both work amazing on all the surfaces they say to use them on , The customer service is the best!! The smaller brush had 2 sets of bristles fall out the first time i used it, emailed the company and within 2 hrs had a response that a new full kit will be shipped to me . And remember to follow instructions I figured if my cordless drill was good then my corded drill would be better so I used the yellow brush that isnt for carpet on some very old carpet with the corded drill and melted the carpet !!!! But when you use them correctly they are a great buy
