Like the fact that the RV Pet Safety monitor can be used anywhere, including homes, cars, and RVs. The monitor is easy to set and use. The app is easy to navigate and setting up temperature specifications, alert and contact information took very little time. Added some buffer in the temperature settings to give us enough time to return to the vehicle in case of an alert.

Phenomenal product for pet safety!

We were really concerned about leaving three dogs unattended in our motor home for ANY length of time, even if we were plugged in to electric at a camp site. RV PetSafety quickly put an end to our concerns. Once you get the device set up (very easy to do) it will send alerts to your Smart Phone if it goes on battery backup (power failure) or/and if the temperature goes outside the parameters you have set on their phone application. I have tested the device within our home and found the temperature readings to be very accurate. You can set temperature reports to be sent to you as frequently as every 10 minutes. Multiple people can sign up for the reports and alerts. If you have any questions, the technical support group is awesome. They even called me after our trip was ended, and asked if everything was ok since no temperature alerts were coming in. They were always ready and helpful answering my questions. Must sign up for data plan after the promotional period. Will run on battery backup for about 2 entire days.Super device. It's awesome knowing my pets are safe in the RV while we are away from it.

Excellent RV Temperature Sensor and Outstanding Friendly Customer Service

This RV Pet Temperature Sensor is very compact and works great! The application is very easy to use and setup. The Customer Service is excellent. I sent them an e-mail to ask them a question and I quickly received a response from them. I also like the fact that multiple e-mail addresses can receive alerts if the set temperature range is exceeded. As an added function, the device can also alert you to a power outage which will also allow you to use this device to monitor the temperature and power in your home while you're away in the winter even if you do not have a pet.

Peace of mind for pets during travel and Rving

The 3G version can have some limitations where the Att and Tmobile networks are minimal coverage. The new 4G will work on Verizon and most likely be more stable. If you are out of network area with no service you get alerts no gateway, and no info. When I reached out to Customer service with questions and issues and they were prompt, quick, and courteous in their assistance. Awesome to have follow up and resolution where my pet family members are concerned and a company that stands behind their product. A++++ to this company and product. Note, the app for phone still is being updated periodically. I have reached back to Nimble through Amazon. My app help and tech support screens have been inop with the new app upgrade.

Great Temperature Monitor!

I frequently make camping trips on my RV. When summer arrived, my RV became a hotpan. I needed a temp monitor and luckily I came upon RV PetSafety and this device has never failed to alert me when the temperature crosses dangerous values. The Battery backup is pretty good and varies when you choose live temp monitoring. The peel and paste device holder is easy to install. I was having a little trouble with the guidebook but the people from support were very friendly and helped right away. Thankyou RV PetSafety! Keep up the good work.

Saved my dog’s life!!

We are finishing up a month long rv trip across the south. Two days ago, we headed into New Orleans for a few hours. Shortly after arriving in the city, we started getting notifications that the temp was exceeding our max limit. In the 40 minutes it took to get back to our car and to the campsite, the temp had spiked from 85° to 100°. We had planned to be gone for a few hours. Without this product, I don’t really want to think about what would have happened! After troubleshooting our rv for another hour, we realized the campground was having an electrical issue that the power company had to be called out for. I say that to point out, things completely beyond your control can happen! Further, the campground offered wi-fi, but it was pretty spotty. It made me even more confident relying on a cellular temp monitoring service. This product is pricey- we went back and forth on whether we actually “needed” it, but boy am I glad we had it!

Saved my dogs

I’m using it in my motorhome and it works great. A couple of weeks ago, there was a power surge that tripped off the power to the motorhome in the RV park and the coach began to heat up. It alerted me right away. We were at Disneyworld and had a long day planned. The two dogs were in the motorhome. I was able to quickly go back to the motorhome, check on the dogs, flip on the tripped switch, and then head back to the family. Being in Orlando on a fairly warm day, I hate to think of the outcome if we didn’t have this product. Thankfully, the warmest it got in the motorhome was 82 degrees.

Exactly what i needed and wanted.

The only thing I didn't like is that the product can come with 12 months of included connection, 6 months of included connection, or no included connection. Different prices. You have to look in the details to see which you one you want. I would have preferred the 12 months coverage but didn't see mine was only 6 months. Other than that, it works as advertised.

Great Peace of mind

I had some issues with this out of the box, but their customer delight team worked it out sending me a replacement sim card. We have been on several trips and so far everything has worked great. Even when my phone didn't have service the pet monitor was still working. I haven't went very far from my RV maybe 30 minutes. But it is nice to know when you stop to eat or have to run in somewhere that you know your pets are safe! Mine didn't come with good instructions but I think they were working on that issue. The customer service has always been able to answer any of my questions. This unit bounces between cell carriers so you are not left with out service. I chose this over one that works only on Wifi as I wanted to make sure I knew my pets were safe no matter where we stopped.

Peace of mind knowing pups are safe!

Great monitor, installed in my RV to allow us to keep tabs on the temperature to ensure our puppies are safe. It gives us a peace of knowing the temperature in the RV. Set it up to notify us if the temperature goes to high or low. Very happy we purchased the monitor and highly recommend every RV owner purchase one if they leave their pets alone unattended.
