Awesome Little Microscope

Ok so I gave it lower for picture quality because it really depends on what you are plugging this scope into. My phone gave amazing pictures while it was plugged in. For the price I paid I honestly wasn't expecting to get a great scope but man this is a amazing portable scope. The only thing I don't like is I now need a new phone case because the adapter piece is to big so I have to take my case off to plug in lol

This seems to have all the bells and whistles.

I like that everything came in a nice little case, I really haven't had much time to mess around with it yet and will try to update this when I use it more. The little that I did use it, the only thing I found was a heavier base would help keep it from moving around when the usb cable gets bumped but other then that I think it seems to work well. As I use it more I will try and update this review. There are a few things I have not had time to figure out at this time. I think its just a matter of setting up files for the pictures to get stored in, other wise 40X is great for what I wanted it for.

Best money spent on Amazon, ever

Best money spent on Amazon ever. After countless doctors appointments for skin issues, I was able to show doctor pictures and have diagnoses. Several doctors over the last few years, countless appointments, 3 skin biopsy, missed work.....all that and finally with only one picture with this camera and I had a diagnosis. The doctor even ordered a camera for himself after he saw my pictures.

Excellent quality and value

This is an awesome microscope. You can actually get excellent quality magnifications ranging from 40x to 1000x which was really surprising in a good way given the size, simplicity and cost of this device. Using either the Jiusion driver (downloaded from their website) or just the Photo Booth Mac app you can get excellent sharp images in within that magnification range. At higher magnifications though, you would need a steadier mounting base than the stand that comes with the device. Great purchase and excellent value.

Works great with OnePlus 7 pro. Flawless Customer service

I bought this microscope to study coins. I had a tough time getting it to work for my Essential PH-1 phone and contacted the company. They sent a copy of the programs and asked me to load onto a computer with step by step instructions. Since I didn't have a computer, I couldn't perform the instructions. A few days later, I got a new cell phone with TMobile, the One Plus 7 Pro. I switched on the OTG Storage button, plugged in the microscope into the phone (note: take off the phone case) using the USB C adapter. The microscope works perfect. Since I had the microscope working oh the 7 pro, I don't need to try to install on the Essential phone. After a few days, Jiusion contacted me again asking if I tried on the computer. I told them I didn't cause it works with my new phone. What company follows up with you on your purchases. Not many that I have had contact with over the years. Jiusion is so customer friendly that I will purchase more items from them in the future and will do so before any other company offering the same items.

Amazing Microscope! Do NOT download an app for this, it will work with

You don't have to bother downloading an app if you want to use this on your PC. This microscope will work with both Windows 10 Camera as well as the Chrome Camera PC extension (for some PC, chrome camera worked great for my husband's PC, but would not work on mine. The Windows Camera worked on mine and his). All you have to do is allow the Windows to access your camera (go to windows settings, camera, and turn it on). For the Chrome, open the browser, google Chrome Camera and turn the extension on. You may have to fiddle with it a bit, just make sure your security settings in Windows will allow the camera to work, and if you are using Chrome extensions, that you allow chrome to access the camera. Also make sure you don't have the camera blocked in the chrome settings. This microscope is AMAZING. So well thought out. The USB plug folds back to a micro USB so you can plug it into your android phone. Unfortunately, I don't have a micro USB phone so I can't use it, but I bought it for my PC anyway. This works GREAT! Wow. I could see my cat's ear mites! I could examine my diamond and ring settings in minute detail, I LOVE this thing!!!!! The color and clarity are astonishing, and you can just screenshot or record using the regular Windows 10 app. No risk of malware, no funny programs! LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!

Perfect as portable garden scope!

Excellent little package! Includes the OTG USB3 attachment that allows you to plug right into your cell phone. Easy to use excellent picture and zoom functionality! Blows jewelry loops! Has several bright LED lights that you can adjust to get that perfect shot! Love that it came in nice little black case to protect and keep everything together. A must have in any serious grower! Confidently recommend to all my fellow Dr. GreenThumbs!

Awesome Toy/Tool

This camera was purchased as a small Christmas gift, I personally didn't expect much from $30 camera (our kids have $150 Amscope microscope). The pleasant surprises started as soon as we plugged it to our laptop, the camera was recognized by Windows and no additional steps were needed. To our surprise, the picture quality was awesome. And the ease of use in comparison with the normal full-size microscope amazing. It does take few seconds to learn to adjust the zoom, but after that, we had a little fight in family as everyone wanted to use it, kids wanted to check every surface possible to see how it looks, their mom wanted to check the skin details :), and I wanted to check a couple of boards to see where electrical connection is broken. Strongly recommend as both gift and handy tool,

Love this!! (but doesn’t work with iPhone)

Perfect BUT this does NOT work with an iPhone. I have iPhone XR and had to dig out an old android phone to use this with. So besides that annoying fact that I didn’t know before I ordered it it is fantastic! We have looked at everything (myself and 11&9 year old boys) We can think of. Hair, dog hair, fabric, skin, teeth, paper, anything. Lol The quality is great and it is fun and simple to use.

Great for checking status of Trichomes

I bought this because I lost my jewlers key I used for checking trichomes. I have a Samsung galaxy s10 with the USB C adapter that came with it. It was plug and play. The app I am using to make this work is OTG View. The images are crisp, clear and what's great is you can snap a pic to document. For any growers out there I really recommend this product.
