Great pattern
I haven't gotten to use the pattern yet but it looks like it will be simple to sew. The instructions are easy to read and follow. Perfect for the project I had in mind.

Awesome Gryffindor Robe
My Gryffindor robe turned out fantastic! Just be sure to pay attention when you’re cutting out the size you need out of the patterns. It can get tricky if you aren’t paying close attention

Just what I wanted!!!
I live in Canada and this pattern was only available in the U.S. I ordered it...cheaper that anywhere else, came in a few days...I am so thrilled!!!

Worked for my needs.
Typical Simplicity pattern. I've never liked their instructions and ignore them. But, I've been sewing over 40 years and understand how clothing is put together! Suggestions for the inexperienced seamstress, read the pattern several times and, if still unsure, use some scrap fabric before committing to your fashion fabric. Remember, you don't need to cut out the entire piece, just to practice on how a sleeve or collar joins the main body of an outfit!

Authentic
This pattern looks like the movie robes, you will need to buy the embroidered patch for whatever house you want. Doesn’t look complicated but I bought the pattern after our trip to Universal so I never made the robes. Robes at Universal cost $115 so it would be cheaper to make these before you go.

Easy to follow for newbies
I made two cloaks in one weekend. I am still new to sewing, the patten was easy to follow and the product turned out great. My kiddos received so many positive comments.

Just as it stated
Great pattern, and made me feel like I was a student.

Lovely Cloak
Lovely pattern to make a child’s cloak. The written instructions were difficult because I am very amateur and have no experience with patterns, but I was able to muddle through.
